*tips hat* Howdy folks ,

I just wanted to run something by yall about an idea I had about getting rid of proven Rogue Casino's
which take peoples money and live in questionable area's where they cant be touched legally why not ...
get them banned from the search engines completely ?

I mean lets face it only thing that keeps the wolves going is game running around in the forest if that
forest was suddenly taken away and replaced with a desert wonder how that would go for them ?

...Or would that even work ... ??

Hi,

There is alot of spam e-mails going aroun aswell. And i think its good to have em prossesed in a search engine if you search for "abc casino scam" ect..

This is true but also these emails can be filtered and blocked removing the need too have too search for them as spam is common and most people know
that if they receive something that they don't trust they will just hit the spam button "poof" their gone ...Far as I can see the Search Engines are like a water
source I say dry these scum up .

I Mean If R.I.A.A can assist in taking down pirate web sites why not have a G.I.A.A (Gambling Industry and associates) ?

I have noticed that there are a bigger stream of new online casinos now than ever before. Not only "a handful" like in "the old days", this makes it more difficult to have a overview of stuff. Even accredited and solid casinos e-mails go in the spam department. And more and more ppl start to play online for the first time, as there now are ads in every commercial break on TV (atleast here in Norway).

Most experienced ppl know the "drill" on spam and whatnot. But there is a huge number of ppl not aware of this, and they are mainly the pray of these rogues.

Need to be more CasinoMeister Ad's as well I think ;) lets face it ...its the wild west the internet is a frontier ..and like most frontiers you are ganna get some bushwackers
..there's allready E-Cogra ..but I think something much more Sizable is needed : the concept of a G.I.A.A may not be out of the question I personally would love to see hunter bots
searching the net day and night eliminating these scum .

U.K is got to one of the worst for adds, Bingo sites are constant, Only the other night there was 3 different casino adds (separate casino's) in a space of about 2 minutes, At night is the worst where advertising would be cheaper,

This is on top of the standard live casino shown on ITV, 12.40am - 3.00am jackpot247, Than channel 5 1;30 - 3;10am super casino,
Than the dodgy alexander live casino and all the rest on freeview, Terrible state of affairs, No wonder the UK wanted to get there hands on some of the profits

We would not have that many rogues around if everybody would do his/her due diligence before registering and depositing at an online casino. It is so easy nowadays to google any casino name and find out if there are any negative threads on the gazillions of casino forums.

There surely will be now and then a "good and reputable" casino going south be it due to mismanagement or processor problems or etc, but those news will surface very quickly in the forums as well.

If everybody sticks to CM accredited casinos or any other recommendations from serious affiliate site than there wouldn't be such a problem with rogues. Personally in more than 15 years online gaming i have never had winnings voided, withdrawals not paid or anything else untoward and that just by sticking to some basic rules on how to chose a casino where i deposit.

My first look is always at the licensing jurisdiction and i know straight away if i consider registering and depositing.

Stopping rogues completely is not really possible, they will pop-up the next day under a new name and start from the beginning.

But they will have to rebuild just to be torn down this process will become tedious and costly ..the war of attrition would be effective ..

Which has largely been a FAILURE due to the "wild west" nature of the internet.

Although they can take down individual search results, for every one they remove several seem to take it's place. It's a war they are slowly losing. Already, they have changed tack and started going after the websites themselves, and getting individual countries to ban websites en masse through court orders. The initial efforts in the UK didn't work very well as they had to specify each site that they wanted taking down to the court, and orders were outdated even before they were implemented. Now they have an order that allows them to update a list of sites that UK ISPs must block once a month, but even this hasn't worked much better.

Taking down ALL search results for a given rogue casino will be infinitely more difficult, and infinitely more expensive. It is actually cheaper to mount an aggressive campaign aimed at educating so many players about the issue that the rogue site can't survive with the few naïve players it manages to snare.

The CM strategy is to operate a whitelist (the accredited list) of good casinos, rather than trying to highlight all the bad ones. There is, of course, the rogue pit, but many players get caught out because the casino they have tried is in neither list, but is rogue nevertheless. We have also seen rogue groups deliberately trying to fool us by launching new casinos or changing the names of existing rogues so that they no longer get flagged up when players try to check them out.
