Yeah, I've been a bit distracted with some issues on the home front. That's pretty much sorted now so back to business, and this is at the top of my priority list.Any updates for this maxd? Should be interesting
Absolutely spot on!You can always tell a 'straight' streamer. They will play at different casinos in cycle, using their own funds earned from affiliation and may or may not use a standard match bonus offered by the casino. The remuneration they get is from sign-ups for which they encourage viewers to visit their website and earn them commission. You tend to exhaust these sign-ups for any particular casino after a week or so, so they switch in order to maintain earnings.
If you see affiliate streamers exclusively playing at any one casino, then you can be sure there's some kind of alternative reward there not relating only to recruiting players, for the reason above. This could be bonus funds with limited cash-outs, simple fixed-fee sponsorship simply to play there which could well be using bonus/demo funds in order to guarantee the streamer earnings. The last alternative would be a small streamer deposit contribution and large bonuses normal players wouldn't be awarded, maybe balanced against the fixed fee if they win. Whichever, they don't do it for nothing.
As an affiliate that used to market on YT before they banned it all, I am telling you that promoting one single casino would never pay if you were solely relying on affiliate sign-ups, due to the diminishing returns, even if you do increase your subscribers. Call it 'NDP fatigue'.
This is how I know the Tw*t in the Hat (thanks @interlog ) and a few those examples mentioned above are simply unrealistic, unsustainable for both streamer and casino if it were straight, real money coming from the streamer's pocket. Bonuses or not.
I know industry professionals, long-time prosperous affiliates whose earnings would make most of us green with envy and if they spent every penny of what they made, plus more, they would never be able to play as those silly streaming channels represent to us. If you recall @ChopleyIOM worked out the cost of this kind of play over a year with the house edge of 4% and it was catastrophic. Unless you are James Dyson or Elon Musk, forget it.
I can’t see how signups will cover the cost of these muppetsSeems like those stake etc casinos offer deals like this: Unlimited fills on account , streamer can keep 25% of winnings if he completes wagering.
Another one i heard about one streamer talking non gambling releated stream that if you have around 20k watchers regulary on your streams you get fucking 30k in hour
I really wonder that toi... How in earth they cam offer deal like that.. 30k in on hour for playing without any riskI can’t see how signups will cover the cost of these muppets
test accounts are being logged into- its common practice for testersI really wonder that toi... How in earth they cam offer deal like that.. 30k in on hour for playing without any risk
I'd of thought even with a very good rakeback deal that unless your name is literally Phil Helmuth (and you are playing cash tables, sorry Phil) it would be hard to find a big enough following to make it worthwhile. You'd also be showing anyone who plays there your entire hand history. Could always speak to Rosh who might be able to inform anyone interested of best way to achieve bots for extra viewers thoughNot a question so not really for this thread, but since I am looking to get back into poker I came across a site if you stream them they will give you a Rakeback deal based on the viewing hours and the number of viewers.

But if you do it, let me know what site, when you're live, and what table you're on..
True, but as suffer in silence said, there is a delay you can enable. I can only stream on how not to play being away from poker for so long I don't even remember/know what the strategy is these days, lol.I'd of thought even with a very good rakeback deal that unless your name is literally Phil Helmuth (and you are playing cash tables, sorry Phil) it would be hard to find a big enough following to make it worthwhile. I went back for a trial just on Sky Poker last month when I was on Holiday from work..... I did ok, about £280 profit in 4 days, but I found I just could not be bothered, and did not enjoy it at all. I used to play 30-40 hours a week, low stake tourneys only (max of a fiver) and my lifetime profits (across 14 years or so) were around the £40k mark - so I can clearly play a bit..True, but as suffer in silence said, there is a delay you can enable.
