Well Yellllllow folks.

I just wanted to know what people thought of Starspins Casino?

Has anyone had any experiences with them, and would you recommend?

In fact, ignore this thread. I just remembered I disscussed this before.

Cheers

Good site, same as all of the Gamesys sites - limited selection of games, but they pay out withdrawals pretty much immediately to wallets and Visa Direct. Their in-house games can also payout surprisingly well.

Worthwhile having an account if only for the weekly and monthly free games, which can turn into decent withdrawals from nothing.

Yup..they get the thumbs up from my wife who's played there for years,
as mentioned, fast withdrawals..never any KYC or SOW malarkey.

Does the jackpot bonus round work properly with the stars now? I played at Star Spins years ago and it was laughably broken.

Do you mean the site random jackpots? They have changed them, they now appear as a small pop up which you can choose to view without closing your game. Never won one though

Yes that's the fellas, when I played there, they took up the entire screen and there was a very good chance they'd never drop in and then you'd have to reload the slot you were playing.

Sometimes you could hear the slot still running in the background!

Aye, they also have similar on Monopoly Casino. Usually appears (on mobile) as a bar at the top of the screen. You have a few seconds to click it and then not win.

I only play at 3 casinos and this is one of them, last cashout was yesterday and it took a little under 3hrs from request to in my bank via debit card which is fantastic, never had a sow from them, been there for years

That use to seriously piss me off, in the middle of trying to land three scatters or get some wins going and interrupted every 5 mins by this stupid jackpot game, with all the fanfare and then dramatic suspense music, and never even getting close to winning anything, must've been a billion to 1 odds!

[ I don't know if they still do it :eek2: but their sister site virgin games have these mini games interrupt ever 15 mins or so, I won one where you had to click your mouse on a decreasing timer and the closest to 0.00 seconds wins, I clicked at 0.05 secs which took nerves of steel and great reaction speed :p, and was excited thinking what do I get - poxy £2!!-when possibly hundreds/thousands of people are competing, was expecting £10-15 at least so never bothered since ]

I'm really frustrated as because I have a shitty Mastercard, thier site won't allow withdrawals back it, meaning I have to wait a full 4 bloody days for it to clear in my account. This has really put me off Starspins. I play with several other casinos who allow withdrawals back to my card, so have no clue what the problem is.

Contacted them via live chat and all they said was my card deosn't allow withdrawals. But it does. Very strange.

I'm currently in the process of searching for a new bank who offer Visa Direct. Mastercard is sad & outdated.

Anyone know a reliable online bank who takes people with crappy credit & also offers Visa?

I'd suggest adding a Paypal account - you can deposit wit your debit MasterCard that way, and get instant withdrawals back to Paypal. And Paypal will also pay instantly to your bank account, though they may do it through the slower BACS method until they verify your account.

I think most will offer you a basic account, just with no borrowing facilities. Is that not on the back of the drive to allow folk with maybe blemishes on their credit file to be able to access banking facilities.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I would rather eat glass than use PayPal. Those jokers still have £50 of mine which they refuse to let me have access to. They've had it since 2015! But that's a discussion for another site.

I'm considering using Skrill as they tend to well thought of. Anyone used them?

Skrill is okay, but will take a chunk of each withdrawal from you. Something like 5% or a capped fee. Either way, it's a bit expensive for what it is. But it works, is trustworthy and reliable.

Paypal are certainly quick with their bank payments as I used to use them - but I closed my account when I got their latest set of terms and conditions where they check with credit reference agencies (I'm not borrowing money off them ffs) and reserve the right to pass your details on to interested 3rd parties companies - you don't get an opt out!

I've certainly started using cards directly a lot more since most sites went over to Visa Direct; there were two advantages to wallets for me - the first was only having to verify once, rather than for each card I used on each site (as cards expire etc). The second was the instant withdrawals to Paypal. As the second is not unique anymore, the first becomes a minor inconvenience.

I've had nothing but problems with them. I used to sell on Ebay. Ebay own PayPal. The ONLY current option open to customers & businesses on Ebay is to purchase and receive payments through PayPal. I received one refund request from a customer on an item I sold. PayPal immediately 'froze' my account and wouldn't let me withdraw my funds. They have consistently ignored my emails and given me the same scripted answer of false promises over the phone. After 5 whole years, I am still unable to withdraw what is mine.

If PayPal can do this because of a single refund request worth a mere £9.99, Imagine what they could do to a massive casino win.

I believe Ebay will be offering more payment options very soon. The sooner the better.

eBay sold Paypal a few years back - you don't even need to use Paypal to buy on eBay these days - not checked selling. But I just pay directly with VIsa/Mastercard through eBay now. I think that particular change came in last year.

Oh did they. I hadn't realised. But even as a customer, do we not still need to through the PayPal payment gateway?

I see there is indeed the option to pay with credit/debit card.

In any case, my experience with PayPal has left a sour note with me. Not because they still have £50 of mine (I wrote that off years ago) But because I can no longer open another account with them even if I wanted to. Because of that ONE refund/chargeback request, my address is blacklisted with them.

That's no way to treat a business owner who has given Ebay many thousands of pounds through the years.

Aye. Paypal's customer service leaves a lot to be desired; I sold an iPhone a couple of years ago. It was sold as faulty, but the buyer wasn't happy - I was happy to refund. They sent it back to me, and we then both had to wait two weeks for Paypal to clear the funds and approve the refund. It was ludicrous. Luckily, the buyer was entirely reasonable as I kept copying them into my complaints to Paypal.

As for withdrawing to Mastercard, I've encountered several other casinos also who don't support that, including Rizk. So best is to get a Visa card, I use Natwest myself.
