Can any person up date on this, Whats happened to starpartner links for U.K? I no they not accept U.K players now but All links go to xxx.vegaspartnerlounge.com/CasinoUK/777-uk.aspx than a link to xxx.casinouk.com/ which is an affiliate site itself, So wheres my share of the pie gone if any person in the U.K clicks my links?

Tried it on a few sites and all goes threw the links I mentioned, Any help would be great,

Thanks in advance.

I didn't know you were an affiliate!
Basically, they are "shaving" any UK players who try to visit their sites and sending them to this <unknown> affiliate site instead. :(
Other than that - they are a top-notch company and one I trust more than most others.

Cheers KK, I am having a little dabble, Not really got any where as of yet but its a learning curve,

So basically any person from U.K clicking the sites and getting redirected means we are losing out? I say we as I tried going threw links on other sites & same redirect.

This is seriously effed up and disregards the standards for Accredited Casinos:

Must not cross promote to other properties without giving proper credit to affiliates and/or their advertisers.
Link Outdated / Removed

Affiliates need to be given credit here.

What about YOU trying to pick up on the UK traffic, and getting your own redirect in first on your site. Admittedly, this is more advanced that a "little dabble", but it does avoid having to trust the affiliate program to properly tag your traffic through their redirect, which is probably not happening, especially given that the redirect is probably tracked to an affiliate subsidiary of the operator as a means of making a little money of UK players who find links to their site on the internet, but who they can't accept as players.

It would be better, and more honest, to simply show the UK traffic a page informing them that their country is not accepted. What they are doing could even backfire, as a UK visitor would see all the signs of a "scam site", having clicked on what they believed to be a legitimate online casino, only to end up on what looks like a site that just advertises a whole bunch of online casinos when they were expecting to find the casino they had read about or found in Google. This will lead to posts that describe the experience, which will influence people who CAN play at the casino into thinking it's not a real casino, but a "dirty tricks" campaign by some overly aggressive affiliate much like those fake casinos like "Real Vegas" that we have seen in spam and fake landing pages, only to end up with the Roxy Palace installer (among others, but certainly never "Real Vegas").

I will bet anything that its not being tracked, Especially after it goes on to the other affiliate site & as you mentioned who ever does click the link is going to think what the hell has happened here,

Also same redirects here from casinomeister.

don't think i have any links to these sites, but weren't casinouk an actual casino previously or still are to anyone outside the uk? i seem to remember that logo, im guessing pre ukgc and licensing time.

google image search for casino uk
CasinoUK1.jpg

is it their "own" affiliate site? :D

It was a casino clip as I played there before, Its a bit ironic CASINOUK only to close down when U.K regs come into affect, & Yes looks like there own affiliate site now, getting traffic from any person in U,K clicking on sites shut for U.K

Were you aware we appear to have the same situation with Go Wild / 32Red?
UK players visiting Go Wild (direct OR via an affiliate link) get automatically sent to 32Red with NO follow on tracking.

I am fully intending to discuss both these issues when I meet their teams at LAC in 2 weeks time (IF anyone from 32Red is going...?)
