First it was Crown Casino investigated in Melbourne and Perth where they got around losing their license by selling it off and now its Star Casino's turn in Sydney.

If land based casino's do this many regulation breaking things in a country like Australia what does that tell you about the wild west of line casino's where so many people are defending them saying there isn't any corruption and dodgy practices going on due to being regulated etc.

Where there is money to be made there are dodgy practices, especially in casino's, both land based and online.

Surprise surprise Not really we have seen this play out before in Australia.
It's amazing how they made sure to put in the new law in 2017 to prevent us being protected when playing online (instead of regulating it the way UKGC did etc) which I am sure Crown, Star etc all would have put plenty of $$$ into politicians back pockets to achieve but the "regulated" land based casinos get away with this much corruption.
Then again most of our politicians aren't any better.

That is what really sticks in my throat. They effectively drove us into the arms of unregulated offshore casinos - some of which are legit, many of which are not - where the consequences of following this route were placed firmly on our shoulders.

And all the while, it was the "regulated" land based casinos that were the problem.

You really couldn't make this shit up.
