So I signed up to Spinsvilla which is operated by Cozy Games Management.

Made a fairly large first deposit with no bonus as I like to play blackjack. I turned over my deposit a number of times on blackjack and was up to my target so tried to withdraw.
The system wouldn't let me and said I had a wagering requirement to meet before I could withdraw.

Thinking this was an error I got on to live chat and asked them to remove it as I had no bonus. They told me this wasn't possible as any deposit (even without a bonus) needed to be turned over five (5!) times before being withdrawn due to anti-money laundering etc...

I was peeved at this but stood my ground as I had wagered well over this amount. I was then told that they also applied table game wagering requirements to this turnover demand..... blackjack only counting 10% towards wagering. I.e. my bonus free deposit had to be turned over 50 times on blackjack. Nothing they could do I was told, it's all in the terms.

I'll be honest, i'm the fool here as I don't check terms if not playing with a bonus and I understand a casino applying a one, maybe even two times wager to a deposit but this was ludicrous. Needless to say, I actually cleared the wagering on slots, but was in red mist mode and went on to lose my money.

Obviously, like I said, i'm a fool here. But are these terms enforceable and do I have any recourse on the casino or with my card issuer here? (Dodgy ground I know).

If nothing else, I hope this serves as a warning to anyone else thinking of signing up here.

Thanks for any guidance.

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
I don't know anything about the legality of it, but it's morally repugnant. How can any casino enforce WR on non-bonus deposits? Absolutely ridiculous - turn over once I can understand and wouldn't bother me, but anything more than that is a piss take.

The withdrawal limits are pretty poor as well.
So definitely not a place to make a 'fairly large deposit'

£1500 a week and then £3000 a month. So £750 per week for big wins? As long as you've deposited at least half of your win in total of course

Avoid at all costs, that one.

Just went through the latest AML codes of practice from the UKGC.

At no point do they mention 1x or 5x wagering of a deposit before a withdrawal can be submitted. They only state that the operators need to have procedures in place. Yet another weak and undefined paragraph which leaves the door open for shitty operators to ask 50x wagering on BJ.

I haven't registered an account so can't log in but i don't see any Netent or MG jackpot games in the lobby, if they are there after logging in then those companies would not allow any Jackpot to be paid in instalments, only Playtech allows this i believe

I've been aware of this group for a good number of years!

There No 1. company policy is "Let's make it nigh on impossible for players to withdraw" and has been from day dot.

So many rules, regs and BS. I recall a similar situation (on a smaller scale) with one of their bingo sites (talking 7-8 years ago now mind) they threw obstacle after obstacle at me all over a poxy £50.

I had broke no rules so it became a matter of principal and not about the £50, took about a month but got it in the end (minus a crazy £12.50 bank wire fee!)

Worth chasing but defo much better places to play out there and don't return....ever!

I was then told that they also applied table game wagering requirements to this turnover demand..... blackjack only counting 10% towards wagering. I.e. my bonus free deposit had to be turned over 50 times on blackjack. Nothing they could do I was told, it's all in the terms.
That has to be one of the BIGGEST piles of BULLSHIT I have ever heard in my life! :eek2:
This casino deserves to be in the rogue pit... or better still, exterminated from existance!

I think this site needs the Max treatment here - to be given a 50x WR on a cash deposit is fucking outrageous, predatory and restrictive.

I can only think that surely the CS misadvised you and assumed you were using a bonus?

EDIT:

They have misadvised you:

2. Bonus policy

Bonus must be used with 14days of credit if not specified otherwise
The maximum winnings from bonus are capped at 500 or 10X of the claimed bonus, whichever is higher. Any winnings from this offer that exceed this cap are deemed to be void
Winnings received from bonus would be converted to real money only after the initial bonus wagering requirements are met

Order of funds usage while playing games

Slots (cash mode) Game play, currency is used in order below:

Bets: Cash → Casino Cash

.......................

Wagering Requirements

All bonuses require a minimum wagering requirement to be completed before you are able to make a withdrawal. This will differ depending on the bonus offered - please see individual bonus terms and conditions for full details. By accepting a casino cash bonus, you agree with the casino cash bonus terms and conditions.

On all games, players are required to wager 30 times (30x) the deposit and casino cash bonus amount before you are able to request a withdrawal.

For example: If you deposit £10 and receive a casino cash bonus of £10, giving you a total amount of £20, you will need to wager £600 to meet your wagering requirements (£20x30).

Only 10% of bets placed on all versions of Blackjack, Roulette, and/or other table games shall be counted toward wagering requirements for any casino cash bonus.

....................

If you opt for the No Bonus co If you opt for the No Bonus option, you will receive no bonus on your deposit, however, you will be required to wager your deposit amount 5x before any winnings from your £10 cash deposit can be withdrawn. This is necessary to comply with Anti Money Laundering regulations.
upon code option, no bonus will be credited.

I would PAB here as the casino seems to have applied the bonus terms here to a CASH deposit, made a serious mistake. They have applied 'table wagering rules' to cash deposit arbitrarily and ripped you off!

Thanks for the feedback all.

Ill probable PAB so this will be my last response.
Live chat may have misguided me, but there is an automated wagering system applied to all funds and this definitely applied the bonus requirement.

Having wagered over £8000 on my deposit I was still no where near clearing the turnover.
