hi, just wandering the opinions on this matter... i deposited £50 on to spinland casino. got free spins and a small bounus. with the usual wagering and bonus terms...
HOWEVER! i managed to win BIG! and in all that excitement. i accidentally clicked the dreaded. MAX BET! button.. that i think is only there to make you slip up on bonuses in the first place... anyway. so i went straight onto live support to tell then id made this accidental bet. as you can blatantly see from my betting pattern id never gone about £2 per spin although i was allowed up to £5. the support person said she or he, cannot remember. would put a note on my account to say that id accidentally pressed this button just ONCE!
so i carried on playing. whilst playing the slots with bonus i also played roulette and blackjack, which they only allow with CASH! balance.. and i was also winning on there... so that in theory is nothing to do with the bonus.. i then went on to clear the bonus and to carry on playing roulette and blackjack over the course of 3 or 4 days. withdrew a 2k and a 1.5k withdrawal, only to get an email today. stating this:

    Dear Mr Perry,

Your account has been found to be in breach of clause 7 (vi) of our Promotional Terms and Conditions:

7 (vi) The maximum bet allowed while the Welcome Bonus is in play is £5. Should You bet higher than this while the Welcome bonus is in play, the casino reserves the right to confiscate all winnings.

Therefore, your withdrawal has been cancelled, your winnings have been confiscated and your deposit of £50 has been returned to your gaming account.

    Regards
    Accounts Team

now i think this is a crazy abuse of the system! i went and told them exactly what i had done. blatant accident. surely it only warrants taking away the value of the max bet. not the whole amount which was not even all won by using the bonus as it was on CASH ONLY! roulette and BJ....
    where do i stand here?

Assume you didn't get any win in that single spin what you made with max bet?

Dunno this particular casino, are you real money and bonus showed as separate balance or they are attached together as one? If in second option you played roulette or blackjack and made bets over £5 and get them to same balance where your bonus was and made it bigger with your winnings from these games even though they probably is not counted to your wagering requirement, you got your balance up to make it easier to go back to slots to clear your wagering requirement. Then casino have a point there as without these winnings you wouldn't have that much money there to clear wagering what you would have without playing roulette and blackjack and therefore their claim to confiscate your winnings can make sense.

If they show your balance totally separate that there is cash balance and bonus balance and your rounds in blackjack and roulette didn't have any effect your bonus balance (made your total balance higher to help clear wagering after getting winnings from these) then it's maybe different story.

Many casinos are attaching deposit+bonus together until your wagering is completed and if that have happened and you have played these games over their max bet, i guess they keep their opinion in confiscating your winnings even though your wagering didn't counted against bonus wagering in these games but was able to make your balance higher to make it easier to go back to slots to clear it.

Na mate the bonus and cash where completely seperate. I didnt win anything on the max bet. Also the big win i had was on dead or alive at 0.90p spin wich won over 3k alone. It states on there website this. :(ix) For a wager to count towards play-through requirements where allowed, the following minimum bets are required £1. At a contribution level of 20%, £1/20% = £3 minimum bet is required.

Therefore this big win went straight! To cash as it wasnt using the bonus funds.

Are you thinkng that because you bet less than the minimum £3, it doesn't count as bonus money?

If so then that's not what the rule says. It means that if you bet less than the minimum it won't count towards the play through of the bonus

Although, they don't actually enforce that particular rule.
If they did, then you'd have fallen fowl of that rule as well. since you played 'dead or alive' (which is a 20% contribution game) at 90p, rather than the minimum £3 stake

With this casino group. If you have a welcome bonus in your balance, then your whole balance is considered bonus, and all the bonus rules apply.

Yes, irrespective of displaying separate cash/bonus balances you are deemed to have a bonus in play if there is one present after opting in for it. Therefore the £3 min table games, £5 max and £1 minimum (slots) conditions are all valid. It's a Caddell casino and they are OK in my experience, but unfortunately you did breach the terms my friend. :(

Ah i get it but still i only breached the terms with one max bet by accident which i reported to live chat immediately. So this is rediculously harsh. The roulette bets didnt make a difference i already asked about that. They dont limit that as its cash only

ive actually won a fair amount at miami dice..
i understand what you are saying. when some one wins a large amount in the thousands the casino seems to go over the terms and conditions with a fine comb looking for the slightest error on the players part.

i feel for people that are new to online casinos because they will very easily fall fowl to the terms.

i see them posting there problems every day on various websites.

i would be crying tbh.. go and keep niggling the live chat and try to get a more clearer explanation on what rules you broke.,
you said that you were playing blackjack and roulette for a quite awhile.. i wouldnt be surprised if roulette is your culprit.

Already checked they where nout to do with it. It was purely that accidental max bet. I asked live chat b4 i played if i was alowed and at what limits they told me no limits as its cash only. Dont worry i wont let it go. Iv emailed the account team they said its there final descision. If i wana take it further contact complaints. So i have just waiting on a reply. I wont rest until i get justice lol. Fair enough if i abused it but i told them straight away about the accident. & there was no win from that bet either

You should have right to get your chat transcription about conversation where you were promised that this one too high bet is ok and that it's not breaching any terms if you play black jack or roulette with bigger bets than max £5, then you would have something for your table game playing has been ok as you asked it beforehand and also that this only one over bet was ok.

Then they at least would have to agree that you have been misinformed and you could use that to defend your table game playing which was probably factor to confiscate your winnings. If you have all that in written just like you told that you were advised, then you might have some case to discuss this matter further. Just request that original chat transcription what you have right to get and show that you were mislead this time of the day before you started your black jack and roulette playing. One round over bet without significant winning usually is not a problem when you have contacted support right away (and as you said, you were promised it's not like your game play after that in table games).

Same thing happened to me about a week ago at their sister site. They confiscated 9k on the same grounds. I had a GBP10 bonus on a GBP20 deposit. It's shameful frankly.

My thought is the moment they use the terms as a weapon to keep winnings that lets face it are hard enough to achieve, they they cross the line into being con artists and thieves.

I have no problem with a casino putting safeguards in place to protect themselves however the casino was not impacted negatively in this instance, had you won 10K on the $5 spin then sure that is a different story and I would side with the casino.

This behavior is just cheap, underhanded and makes my skin crawl.

I had a fight with them, Spinland where they confiscated my winnings, i took up the fight and after 1 month, they changed their mind.

You have to show them, you cannot be harrassed and scammed IF you did what you did and asked live chat and they said OK, they have all the chat script, so ask them to send that to you, if not i recomand to use another tool, i may send u PM on that how i got my money.

    my result:

    Dear XXXXX,

Following a second review of your account and activity we have decided to reverse our decision to confiscate your winnings.

Please find that NOK 6223 has been returned to your account balance.

In addition, as a gesture of good will we have added another NOK 500 to your account balance for you.

    Kind Regards
    Accounts Team
