What's so special about Spin Palace ?
Following some good fortune in the Grand Slam tournament after 5 or 6 years of playing slots - ol' Pianoman gets a phone call from the VIP account mgr at Spin Casino.
Nice, friendly, 10 minute "no reading from the spiel sheet" chat with someone aware that I'd managed a placing in the top 20 and now inviting ME to become a VIP player...
Me ? Spin Palace vip ? WOW !
Except for a couple times at Ruby Fortune recently, hadn't played their venues since enduring a time waster chat session early in 2011 with a crew member at one of the Palace casinos.
So anyway, an offer right outa the blue:
Vip status and to get started, a decent size no deposit freebie bonus along with it.
Why am I impressed?
Well it's like this:
1/ 32RED is where I played GSOS and it's they who sent the payment.
Enormously grateful for the "free" entry (won it fair 'n square mind you!) And where payment's concerned 32Red's service is absolutely fabulous. They also have regular offers, a great reputation ... most highly rated casino with good reason, I'd say.
2/ Some years ago however, requested Club Rouge membership & got knocked back. "Not yet" they said...
3/ Nor have they offered any invitation to become one of their "elite" players, despite small wins/big losses in slots play there during May and June.
Not criticising 32R;
Merely intrigued by the notion that the Palace Group sees me as someone "worthy", while 32Red have made no such approach?
4/ Turned the Palace freebie into a $250 withdrawal within 24 hours - and THEN collected a substantial "new player" bonus on my 1st deposit.
Just passed the WR on that a few mins ago - $50 ahead, so the liquor bill's covered for next couple of weeks.
... Hold on, someone's at the door.
Had to sign for a rather heavy parcel I wasn't expecting!
WHAT THE...
No info on the box about who sent it...
Oooh look. All sorts of Goodies.
It's a hamper!!!
WHA?
Now look folks, it's all a bit extraordinary - and you can't expect to just rock up and ask to be made a VIP!?!
But I get the impression that if like me, you prefer the Microgaming stuff and you become a regular player at Spin Palace and maybe other casinos in the Palace group, you might someday reap a similar benefit?
Pardon me - Pianoman's due back there now.
The limo has just arrived....
