Hi everybody,
i am having a major problem with spin palace casino at the moment,
and i hope that someone can help me or at least give me a good advice.

last month i won more than 3000 bucks hitting a number on roulette,
afterwords i went to the cashier to withdraw my money,
which was no problem as usual.

after two weeks i still didn't get paid out.
back then, i still wasn't too worried, as i know that some casinos take lot of time until they send you your money.
so i thought it wouldn't be a big deal if i play again.

"knowing" that my money was on the way, i made a new deposit (which was no problem as well!)
and luckily i hit a number again,
about 3500 for the second time
so i won more than 6000 in less then three weeks.
of course i tried to withdraw my money again.
this has been like 10 days ago.

two days ago i logged in at spin palace too see what is going on with my money.
my account was logged.
at least i could get in contact with the live chat to ask him what is going on with my account and espacially with my money.
the only thing the guy said was,
that they don't have to explain anything,
it's a manager's decission and if i have any doubts or questions i can take a look at their conditions.
i asked if at least my money was on the way,
but he said that follwing to their conditions the casino has the right to keep any winning and sent me a link.
that was all, he didn't reply to further questions.

so what can i do now?
i did nothing wrong! i was playing with my own deposits.
i didn't had a bonus and didn't even play with any strategies or something,
i just placed a bet of 100 on a number and had luck for two times.
that's all.

i wrote this to let everyone know to take good care playing at spin palace because as you see they don't think it's necessary to let you know about how they make decissions.
and of course i would presuade it a lot,
if anyone has an idea how to get my money after all.

thanks a lot in advance

sebastian

If this is true, particularly if there wasn't a bonus involved then this is definately rogue behaviour. Even if a bonus was involved they could have dealt with you a lot better. I advise you to contact Spin Palaces rep on here and failing that then go down the P-A-B route. Something is really not right with this place, I haven't played at Palace group in about 6 months. They used to email me bonus offers and newsletters all the time and then for no reason they just stopped, I didn't take many of them up, I can't even remember the last time they even sent me a newsletter or anything?. That said in the past I have never had issues with payment or being accused of bonus abuse by this group and they have treated me fairly but with confiscating of winnings, the first thing that springs to mind when this happens is that there could be cashflow problems.

While I agree that the OP's post doesn't reflect well on the Palace Group (nor does the other ongoing thread)...to make the leap to cashflow problems is a bit over the top. There could be many other reasons for his difficulties, including (but not limited to) a simple error on the part of the casino, "suspected" fraud, a multiple account issue, and so on. The rep deserves at least a chance to respond to the issue before anyone makes any assumptions like that.

wj.horst....here is the link to the Palace Rep's profile. Click on send a PRIVATE message under contact info, and explain your case to him. If that fails to give any result, then use the PAB service that is provided here free of charge. Here's the link:

The problem is the REFUSAL to explain by the casino. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE under EU consumer law. It only causes bad feelings, and negative posts on the internet, which are often taken at face value.

Face value here is that a German player deposited, took no bonus, and was simply just lucky enough to win.

A player screwed out of such a large sum is going to be in a rage, and unlikely to take the moderate approach, even though this is likely to get a better result.

One thing is also missing from this story - the document request, this would almost certainly have been involved for such a large withdrawal, bonus or not.

There is nothing in the terms that dictate some game playing styles as "not allowed" when no bonus is involved.

If this is a mistake, simply shutting off the internal complaints process before it even got going is another way to ensure such issues go public. Support should have advised this player of the dispute resolution processes, such as eCogra, and Malta, that are available, not telling the player this makes them turn to the internet for help.
There is also the PAB process here, but unfortunately going public first seriously hinders the prospect of any progress, and Max is likely to refuse to deal with it, just as he as already done to another PABer who went public before the PAB could be dealt with.

Given the heated arguments we have had over various issues (including one on Spin Palace) over the last few weeks, no news is probably good news and they are working busily behind the scenes. Next time someone posts here, I hope to see that it has been resolved satisfactorily.:)

Without knowing if the OP ever PAB'd, I'm going out on a limb and suggesting that there was probably more to the OP's story than what was presented. First time poster...locked account...never bothered to come back to reply...

Instincts tell me something isn't quite right--and it's with the OP. Not the casino.

I am just guessing here but maybe the OP got paid shortly after his post and didn't feel obliged to tell anyone?

I do hope the OP returns to this thread. I don't even see that the casino was voiding his win and returning his deposit.

If there was merely a delay in paying him then showing him the door as being "too lucky" I'd like to know that as well.

I hope he returns, too - as things stand he's made the accusations and that flies a red flag on the casino until it is cleared up one way or the other.

Of course, the casino rep could also get on the ball and take a look at this.....?

hi everyone,
thanks a lot for your answers so far!
i didn't answer sooner because i didn't realize my post got online already.
i am a new member so i thought this is going to take longer.

ok,
so i still didn't get paid out and the last message i recieved from spin palace (about a week ago) said, that the reason my account has been closed, is
that i offended their conditions.
Once again they wrote me to read their conditions and that now
this case is closed for them,

as you see they still wouldn't tell me what exact offense i'm supposed to be guilty of.

i really don't see how this can be a fair way to argue.

It's not - they are hiding something from you. This should be interpreted as meaning that they believe you to be a fraudster. With no bonus involved, you simply CANNOT have violated any of the usual terms and conditions that catch out players.

You should read their conditions, and tell them you have done so, and are going to approach a lawyer to go through them with you, and look at your actions to form an opinion as to how you might have breached them.

You could also use the PAB service, Max is looking for one, but it seems you have not bothered. Since Spin Palace is accredited here, you would NOT use up your "one shot only", which ONLY applies to new members who have had trouble with a NON accredited casino.

There is also eCogra.

You should include the FULL story, even details that might make YOU look bad, since these WILL come to light, and it would weaken your case if you did not reveal them to start with.

What you HAVE revealed in your post seems to give Spin Palace no reason whatsoever to deny your withdrawal, since it is ONLY when using the sign-up bonus that games such as Roulette are not allowed to be played.

IF you were taking bonuses, then you would be in breach of some of the BONUS terms and conditions, not the GENERAL ones. For a cash-out of this size, you would also have to supply ID documents, which should match the details you have given to the casino. You must NOT have duplicate accounts at the casino. You must use YOUR ID to play. Any of this could have created this problem, and result in them not wanting to explain anything.

As far as law is concerned though, it's bullshit, they HAVE to explain if you took the matter further, such as to a court, since not offering up evidence to support their position would mean you would automatically win the case based on YOUR evidence, provided you could show there were no CLEAR breaches of their terms. Few players go to court though, normally things like this are resolved through processes such as the PAB here, or through eCogra (for member casinos). You can even complain to their regulator, but this generally takes longer.

Above all, DON'T do nothing, this is a SERIOUS accusation, and an investigation would not only be in your interest, but in the interest of the rest of us.

I have to admit that there have recently been some unsettling goings on at the Palace Group, such as offering bonuses to player who reverse withdrawals, something that is considered to be against the SPIRIT of the codes regarding responsible gambling, since it plays on the potential for the player to give in and reverse whilst still on a high after the win. Many players post here how they have given in to temptation, reversed, lost it, and regretted it later.

Since Spin Palace is accredited here, you would NOT use up your "one shot only", which ONLY applies to new members who have had trouble with a NON accredited casino.

Actually that's not how the "One Free Shot" rule works.

The FAQ section on the OFS, Q: What is the "one free shot" thing?, says:

A: The One Free Shot policy means that your first PAB can be on any casino you like. Subsequent PABs will only be considered if they concern sites that are on the Accredited Casino or Accredited Poker lists.

In other words people that are familiar with Casinomeister are expected to know about the Accredited lists and, in particular, the Rogue Pit which names casinos who've earned a reputation for being untrustworthy and/or crooked.

I suppose another way to look at it is that your first PAB is your OFS PAB, whether the subject of the PAB requires the OFS or not.

The OFS is not intended as a "get out of jail" card that you can use whenever it suits you. It's designed to allow newbies to get some help and learn about the site in the process.

The crux of the issue is that if you've been around long enough to have PAB'd then you've been around long enough know about the Rogue Pit and should have the good sense to play elsewhere.

Finally, the OP has now filed a PAB. We'll see what we see.

This really reflects poorly on Spin Palace. Even the rogues will state which term or condition you offended. Just telling the player to read the Ts and Cs and realise what he has offended is something brand new to me. If they want you to take part in a guessing game so can we. I am guessing that they have serious cashflow problems (sorry Pina) in releasing such a vague answer to the OP.

I would imagine if it was cash flow, they'd more likely come up with some stalling tactics or delays... Not just a straight account lock.

There's more than meets the eye to this story, definitely.

I am however surprised that Spin Palace haven't popped up and said anything, even just a 'we're looking into this' or whatever.

Bullshit - they told you which term you "offended" - the term that points out that collusion or acting in concert with other players is forbidden.

He's yanking your chain. This fraudster posts in a typical manner - gives you half of the information in order to create a backlash at the casino. He's not stupid. He should have said the following:

"The casino locked my account when they found out I was involved with a group of players who are committing fraud. What do I do?"

Given the revelations, I am surprised Spin palace hasnt posted to rebut the OP's accusations. Silence only made us wonder whether there was a grain of truth in the OP's statements. Much harm could have been done if potential players read this and decided to shy away from SP.

As CM made clear, there was no truth to them and the assumption that "not posting = guilt" is seriously flawed. Many casinos deal with us openly and readily off-forum but prefer not to engage in public debates. It's their choice and some choose not to, for a variety of reasons. Trying to make them sound guilty because they won't debate this crook's issue is unfair and uncalled for.

I could be that during this time the casino rep went on to another company and the new one hadn't entered the scene yet.

Point taken. However, it will be to the detriment of the casino if they did not address the issue in the open. No body will know who the crooks are until the end and by then damage would have been done to the casino's reputation and of course, profits.
