I don't think MG allow you to use any kind of program to speed up the tournaments with.

I think what you need is a really good computer and nothing else.

Ask VWM, he's the expert on those tourneys :p

Maybe they did buy continues and got less coins for it? So they were able to finish zero.

It depends on which slot is being used. Different methods apply to different slots.

Your aim should be to get one spin completed every 3 seconds as this is the speed set by Microgaming. It seems related to some UK responsible gambling standard that spins should be no less than 3 seconds apart, but strange that MGS decided to adopt this for the tournaments, but not for real money play.

If your average time per spin exceeds 3 seconds, then there is room for tweaking.

The LAST thing you want to do is use the convenient autoplay function as this actually makes your spins slower.

Ideally, you need a fancy mouse, one for "gaming" that has things like autoclick as well as the standard set of buttons. It's also possible to get a software emulator for turning a budget mouse into something a little better.

You also need a stable internet connection so that you get minimal lag between the client and the server. Once you have downloaded the client, it's stability, not speed, that is most important.

If pressed for time, always select the bonus options that take the shortest time to play. If it's a Loaded tournament, take the 12 spins @4x, it takes half the time of the 24 spins @2x. It also increases the variance so that a decent hit is worth much more.

It does seem that an increasing number of MGS casinos have woken up to the fact that in the real world, the 3 second spin benchmark is not achievable for most players, and takes no account of the bonus rounds. This has lead to tournaments where there is more than enough time to use all the coins, no matter how many bonus rounds you get, or how slow the PC or internet is. This means that everyone has a fair chance to use all the coins they paid for.

If there are players managing to use all their coins, then it shows that it's possible within the 3 second per spin constraint set by MGS.

UK players have been frozen out of many of the big tournaments with far too many continues where getting the tweaks right gives one an advantage. 32Red have run a few 999 continues events, but they also give loads of time so that everyone should be able to use all the coins long before the time runs out.

If you use third party software, make sure to keep to the 3 second rule as trying to go too fast is severely punished, as the tournament will lock up with severe lag, and can even cause you to get booted. Whatever solution these players are using, they are making sure to keep within this 3 second limit, else they would be getting punished and having far more than zero coins left.

It is surprising that some casinos STILL set up their tournaments in a way that grants an advantage to players that can tweak their rig to attain 3 second spins, rather than adding more time to ensure that ALL players can make the spins they have coins for. Maybe they realise that players with the tweaks WILL go for it by buying as many continues as it takes, and that levelling the playing field will put these same players off buying so many continues as they will have no advantage over the field.
