i am looking for a casino that verifies you and does not ask for source of wealth, as i do not agree to send private details, i am not a money launderer, just a retired person whom likes to play slots without all these questions.

Check out novibet, never had an issue with them and they offer the higher rtps on play n go pragmatic etc

Hard pressed to find one that NEVER will ask folk (unless they fancy breaching a few requirements), but some that are sensible in asking whom (ie, not the guy who deposits 10 quid a month) they ask and how they apply the reg's.

Typical bookie ones seem to adopt a more common sense approach: Will Hill, Sky, Bet365 etcetc. So, unless you're going feral with deposits/weird game play on there, i imagine you'll be fine.

It's the MGA ones that start sow'ing at weird times (Slotmillion/Casumo): i'd particularly give Casumo a wide berth for many reasons.

Novibet i've deposited often at, never had issues: same for Videoslots etc but tbh i wouldn't expect a SOW with my game play/deposits etc.

Also, a casino's (eg if they're fined etc or get a new legal department or change in risk appetite etc) approach may change: fine today, then go SOW nuts in a few months, so you never really know.

It comes down also to how you deposit if your doing constant £100 deposits one after another then might hit certain triggers the problem not many people know what the triggers are like mr p says above one day fine next day sow nonsense, I agreee the U.K. sports/casino are your best bet

Yes unfortunately they can all request at any time.

Not something i think you can avoid. Spread your play at different sites might help you with thresholds but if your not prepared to supply SOW then be prepared to lose a win I guess.

As for casinos ive had a few request bank statements but that's as intrusive as mine has ever been and i have played at quite a few different sites.

Depends on your spend...

Pretty sure you won't hit any thresholds if you deposit 10gbp a month. Pretty sure you won't hit any thresholds if you do not deposit 500gbp within 24h with paysafe. Also pretty sure you won't hit any thresholds if you deposit 2k within 24 hours, or 5k a week. Just a few examples that might help you to pick All British Casino, see my signature for a link :)

hi jan still with all british just played there lost but hey ho

Most sure bet would be any operator who doesn't hold a UKGC license and accept UK players, it's just a totally different story if you can find really trustworthy ones where you also get your withdrawals processed and not confiscated. But most of these totally fake rogue ones don't ask SOW:s at all, just make sure you never withdraw, many of them don't like such a behavior.

Probably best guess in UK licensed casinos is to deposit only very small amount per casino and then get new one which also might be bit challenging when starting run out of good sites.

Unfortunately 100% SOW free UK operator probably doesn't exist anymore.

It's not only UK thing also under MGA is same situation. Impossible to say any really trustworthy casino where can be sure that player is safe from SOW requests.

SOW is good thing if there is really some dark in payments or in player's documents. But when you have no red flags, nothing special in game history and you play normal as usual but still get these requests it sounds more like teasing

But MGA casinos without UK license don't accept UK players and OP seem to be from UK. Therefore MGA and not UK licensed operators in OP:s case are irrelevant.

You could wait and try the upcoming UKGC-C.

Yeah, Novibet is TOP in terms of games and their website design plus they payout in time. But they simply killed me with their phone calls and document requests. Had to tell them I had enough of this UKGC crap; close my account.
Used to be my fav casino.
With Unibet, no problem at all (yet) and they pay instantly.

Just reminded me that they did do that with me last month - had some weird phone number call, ignored it - went to login to my a/c a few days later and couldn't: they said when you didn't answer, we blocked a/c...ok, bit extreme, but go on - it was to tell me about their RG tools (even though i've limits on there) and, this time anyway, series of bog standard questions: no doubt a SOW is brewing.

Don't get many better casinos than Unibet IMO.

Unibet have max number of withdraws per day limit though. I think it is set at 3 per day... You also can not cancel to add more to them either now due to the fact of covid and the UKGC I think!

I have not played at Unibet for years though so that might have changed in that time. So please correct me if they have relaxed that rule and now allow more than 3 per 24 hour period :)

I play Bonanza, so never had the privilege of withdrawing 3 times a day there - a month, aye :p

Don't think so - i was on a half decent run last month and when i withdrew, took something out, left in...took out again - think it was 6 that day: i'll have a check

Ok, I am now puzzled by different requirements of source of wealth requests!

Just been hit by one after playing at various casino outlets under the same licence. Initially the request was to complete and sign a form for source of wealth and source of income and to send in a bank statement showing the income. I done this as it is a good group.

I then receive another email saying to send in another bank statement for the account linked to my debit card used. I pointed out that I had already sent this and for them to look at account number shown on the image of my card to the statement already sent. They also now want a statement to show all my outgoings - why? I thought the purpose was to see the source of my income, not what I decide to spend it on? I sent them an unmolested, bank generated statement showing all income for the last three months. They also now want a copy of my last payslip, despite me have 3 jobs and being registered carer for my wife so receive an allowance for this.

The problem. I should be able to print payslips (2 come from online access which I've never bothered with and may pose an issue logging in) but in their last e-mail they have asked to see a copy of my wife's disability statement. Sorry, but no, this is dragging on and getting too personal plus I am 100% sure my wife would go ballistic if I share her personal/private details with a casino!!

I appreciate they follow guidelines, but this is silly. What next, they ask me for company accounts of where I work to make sure they can afford to pay me on the next payday?

Oh well, such is life. Whinge over. Upped limits at another established casino who accepted my basic SoW declaration and about to send email saying to close accounts since I cannot/will not breach my wife's trust in sending her personal details to all and sundry!

The UKGC have instructed all operators to carry out affordability checks. Unfortunately this does mean they can and will follow the trail until the end under CDD. Once a casino starts following a trail if they dont follow until the end it could come back to bite them under audit or complaint.

One other problem is the nature of these regulations means at times its hard to know whats required and whats not from both sides.

Not saying its right but this kind of thing is really under focus at the moment with the pandemic. Sympathise with you as that would be too much for me to come forth with myself.

Which group asked for this helps a lot just in case

This is the unfortunate thing, a great group and a great rep so really don't want to sound downbeat against them. Unfortunately the same shoe doesn't fit all, so explaining away 3 jobs, a self employed aspect and receipt of some benefit allowances is a pain. Can't blame them for adhering to requirements, but my circumstances are not 'standard' and to be honest, it is a trifle personal having to explain away my unconventional finances to someone who doesn't understand! Plus, I have been in profit of late from some casino play, so will they need evidence of this as well?

Lets get some good suggestions for reputable offshore casinos with decent RPTs and CS.

Time to wave goodbye to nanny state UK over regulated shyte!
A quick google search showed a possible RPT acronym explanation as a Rabbit Pyrogen Test. Are you saying you would play at an unregulated casino with a penchant for animal testing?
