Rizk Casino is an award winning Accredited Casino here at Casinomeister
I recently worked in banking for a few years and the whole of the finance industry was overhauled to oppose the increasing threat of fraud in the UK (that's what they say anyway). I would expect these kind of requests for information to become more and more commonplace so i dont think it's worth the argument.

For me, it's the way it's handled that's crucial. Rizk asked me in a form, on site, and I just clicked and was done. No noticeable interruptions to play or transactions. Other sites I stay away from now purely because of how poor their staff are trained to handle customers and these kind of requests. Some have literally used these kind of requests to frustrate me when cashing out.

ive only been asked to fill in the sow request you do yourself so far at all the casinos i play, but certainly that feeling of dread has returned on withdrawals

which is mentally pretty horrible and of course even more infuriating when you know its done under the pretense of stopping money laundering,

how im gonna react to the full inquest im not really sure but the cm community will be the first to know

I have never meet it at any casinos that i was playing,so the answers are a lil confused!!!But i tthinkni found the most suitable.
Cheers!!!

For me its been hobby changing, as not played online since being asked for a SOW. I will never give up that much personal information to a casino, its asking for all sorts of issues such as fraud etc, let alone the fact that a persons wealth and income is none of their business. I now only play casinos land based, and then only when I am on holiday.

I do miss some of my old fav slots, but overall its been a positive change for me as I now have a really good casino budget when I do go away, and I dont have to ever worry about being paid or other issues you get when playing online.

Rubbish, before you accuse anyone of wrongdoing get your facts straight.

I picked the first option, as I play at less casinos now, have closed accounts at places known for OTT SOW requests, and will close my account anywhere the minute I get a SOW request, unless I can see why it would be justified. Luckily the only one who has asked so far was Energy Casino.
Wait a sec I was asked for my comment and view and I gave it. My comment and view on a poll not a discussion about my answer.

I've never been asked but I have not been playing much recently just once or twice a month at the mo.

Edited to add, I find the very idea offputting. Especially hearing about casinos just deciding to request these details without complying with definition of when they should ask. I find most worrying. If I heard of a casino doing these it would put me off that casino.

Closed my account at a casino after being locked out after a sow request. I refused to give info and I requested to close my account. They were quite arrogant about it.
They requested a sow after winning a lot of money for 7 straight days on the casino. I was depositing more often cuz of the wins. So don’t understand why they would ask for a sow when they knew I had won money and that’s where my money I was depositing coming from.

Never been asked but would avoid the casino if I was. I have no problem proving identity or proof of address but its nobody's business how I get my money legally. As has also been said earlier that you cannot trust casinos with this information as it's obvious this information is sold or passed on as it is with almost all businesses now.

I am against SOW requests that go beyond your most recent bank statement. I think people in general are getting sick and tired of the overlords looking into every aspect of our lives. We got casinos that can now ask you very invasive questions requiring documents that as a player we have no control on how they are stored or if they are shared. We are expected to trust them? Well as we all know Facebook sells peoples data, Amazon Alexa and other types of gadgets listen to our conversations. I guess my point is personal privacy is important and little by little we are expected to give it up under "We must protect...(insert anything here)". I have nothing to hide but want my stuff to stay private. That is just me and I hope my rambling post makes a tiny bit of sense.

I can provide sow, but i usually close casino accounts that require this, because i find it very invasive. Unless i have a cashout pending i do NOT provide sow and just close my account. By the way what casinos so far have asked SOW from you? I would like to know so i can steer clear unless i already have an account.

I think SOW if a fantastic way to make casinos more aware of frauds and gambling addicts.
gambling is such a controversial isue that it needs all the resources to make sure it's actually "for fun" .
that being said, if any casino I play at , would ask me my SOW I would tell them to fudge off. I am low roller and my deposits are usually around 20-30€/week at the same casino. . how I make my money it's my problem. but for those people that deposit more than 1-2k a month surely they need to show the SOW for that money.

I have stopped playing at 2 casinos after they threw a SOW request at me.
I was a customer for years at both casinos and never ever had any trouble with them.
Fully KYC'd at signup and never ever made any weird deposits as I always deposit the same amounts like 50-100 Euros at a time.
Nothing outrageous.

I will not provide any sensitive financial details to any casino, first of all because it is none of their business and second of all, God knows where all the information might end up.
If you want to SOW a player that deposits tens of thousands every week, I can understand.
But do not pull every regular Joe out of the grass and hit them with a SOW.

I've just bought a new house and was asked where I got the money from. And this was by my Solicitors who were acting for me in selling mine and buying my new home.

Was also asked by my Bank when the funds hit the account where the money had come from. SOW is happening all over, not just online gaming.

I was asked once by Grosvenor but I didn't mind as I was caning it at the time so didn't have an issue sending a payslip as it is Grosvenor and not a clip joint in Curaçao.

I hear that. I've been forced to make these inquiries in some transactions myself. It goes beyong the normal attorney-client relationship and I absolutely detest it. Buying and selling real estate is a prime example of a lawyer needing to take extra precautions just to cover their own compliance requirements.

The whole system of individuals and companies watching each other and informing authorities of their observations is a sort of mental panopticon we are being forced to live in.

Jeremy Bentham would be proud.

Wait a sec I was asked for my comment and view and I gave it. My comment and view on a poll not a discussion about my answer.

Only people who need to worry are the fruadsters and peeps hiding money from partners.

That was what you said, I don't have a partner so I'm a fraudster?

My answer was 'I've never been asked and I am in the EU/UK' which applies, but i certainly also am one of the 'I don't like the intrusiveness and play at casinos that do not require SOW' people!

The only way i could ever see such a request to be justifiable, would be in case of suspected fraud, or 'extreme' problem gambling...
