Hi all.
My wife made a withdrawal request from Casoola, this was last Sunday.
Casoola asked for documents so sent them same day, they have only replied today(it says takes upto 72 hours) so was longer than that.
They are saying the deposit method is not allowed, she deposited using my paypal account.
We have a joint bank account, so the card linked to paypal is hers.
They have sent her a 3rd party usage form for me to fill in to giver her permission to use my paypal account.

Does this sound correct? i though it was the card that links to paypal not just the account holder.
She is getting worried that she wont get her money, she also has a £200 balance but the account has been restricted since the documents request.

Will she get her money??

I dont think so, in gambling in general and in every terms and conditions from the service provider, which you accepted prior before depositing and playing it states really clear that only funds from methods belonging to the account holders name are accepted.

Casoola is part of Genesis Global. We have an active rep for them: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/casinocruiserep.37810/

You can send him a PM should you need more assistance.

However, they are known to be rather a fickle clientele when it comes to player issues. Using somebody else's payment method is a big NO NO and clearly in the terms. I wouldn't be surprised if they confiscate the winnings and maybe return just the deposits before closing the account permanently.

With the authorization form they cover their back for the transactions up to now.

I cant imagine to refund in these events.

If they start to refund these events, the industry wont exist anymore.

Lessons learned and move on to a valid win and payout.

Nope. No casino can or should take deposits from accounts not solely in the ownership of the player. They will simply void the play and return or refund the deposit(s). Which is quite correct.

The casino has no way of checking in who's name an e-wallet account is until they do the full KYC.

For all I know, we could have here another "joint account, card in partner's name" case. The last one wasn't that long ago.

I'm with Jan on this one!

One of the oldest rules going not to deposit using other people’s accounts. 100% no winnings should be paid, lucky to get deposits back at best.

Not even deposits mate.

That's how fraudsters get a free ride. Lose get them back, win make noise to get paid when it is detected.

Not saying in any way the OP is one. Just that he has a rather weak case to get paid or refunded because where is a casino supposed to draw the line?

And you might remember the malarkey with the last "shared bank account" case.

Wtf? It's one thing if they lost and demanded refund due to not being able to cash out anyways but they've won here. Under what grounds are you confiscating deposit? Doesn't seem right at all..

There was no malice in her deposit method i can assure you.
She has seen the option to deposit via paypal and chose to do so on the basis the paypal account is linked to her card and our bank account(we have a joint bank account).
I lost my card a while ago and just havnt got round to getting it replaced hence her card linked to paypal.

Can anyone therefore explain the reason they sent over a Declaration 3rd Party Usage Form?
To me that seems that i am giving them my permision to use my account to pay funds?? or am i being too optimistic ?

They will check if the 3rd party is on Gamstop or already has an account at the casino I guess. Not sure what happens next.

I don’t get this statement? the rules state we can’t deposit with other people’s cards ETC yet casinos allow these transactions to happen then when flagged they keep the deposits and refuse withdrawals.
Going by what your saying this must be a regular occurrence (if they start to refund these events the industry won’t exist).
