Hello all, I went to deposit at CWC tonight and they requested the last 4 numbers of my SS# They said that this was for all US players. I never had to do it before and I won't start doing it know. Any part of my SS# is only for me and certainly not for a casino. Because of this I will no longer deposit at CWC. Has anyone else encountered this?

It's not a big deal, they're probably running a new API and running your details through U.S. databases.

I actually require this when registering at my site and your details are verified.

This wasn't your first time depositing, and all of a sudden they asked for it? New cc? I can't remember if I was asked to give that from them or not. I know I did have to give it to a casino/s, but can't remember which one/s.

I give my last 4 of my SS# to many places, (cell phone company, cable company, my horse race site, there may be more) I don't see it as a big deal, but if it makes you feel uncomfortable, don't do it and move on.

It depends on what processor they are using. Sometimes you get asked for it and sometimes you don't. It's not something new, been going on for months.

I remember about a year back, there was a processor that required it each and every time you deposited. It wasn't just the first time using a card or for a new user. It was required each and every time. If it's only asked once, it could be for verification. Otherwise it could be just a real picky processor.

NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR SS# NOT EVEN LAST 4 DIGITS. People don't care about their privacy anymore. As long as they are getting their fix. They will give out their social. I don't deposit at CWC anymore with CC because of that same fact. They don't need to be looking at my credit file or anything.
