As usual we British are encouraged to remember everything ranging from St. Paddy's day to ramadamadamalongdingdong or whatever.

So the forgotten 55 millions Anglos, what have you heard or seen today???

I've been anticipating this post all day and here it is delivered in perfect style :thumbsup:

I think that the launch of NetBent's new slot 'Drag, Oh Laa laa' is more important to most than St Georges day.

32 as mentioned above, from what I can see are the only casino that have 'Made the effort'

Rare I speak negative about my fave casino but 'Double dish of the Day' kind of annoys me a little, Its almost like being told you first deposit is a loser before you make it:eek::eek:

I am not English and don't really see why casinos should send out promotions for St Georges day same as I hardly expect them to send out promotions for St Davids day Or St Andrews day.

But hippodrome sent email offering free spins ( yes I had signed up there lol). And Royal Panda have sent emails with free spins to celebrate today. Think theres been a few other emails too but I delete them as junk if im not interested in some casinos. So some casinos are sending promotions for it.

32red have a double bonus day

Usually Thursday is their 100% day anyway as any wins are left pending for the longest period until Monday (as one cynic pointed out in another thread...) But at least they mentioned it.

Now I recall Bet-at and Guts making a big fuss about St. Pats day, just checked their sites and not a ****ing word.

Sorry I meant double dish of the day,

p.s I am a cynic too

I think all days everywhere should be celebrated for all of us

Imagine some idiotic promo for Swedish midsummer where everyone is drunk while playing and has to be. The staff too of course. That's what the holiday is for...at least almost:p

I think it's really tough for all casinos to keep up with much besides Christmas and New Year. But that's not always on the same day and time either thinking about it.
I guess the world is a big place and we all want something. Me too ;)

My point is that for some reason casinos and the media seem obsessed with Paddy's day and stupid short-arsed things in green with red beards, clover and that bog-water crap called Guinness. Despite the fact that as a proportion of the population of the British Isles they are a few million. So they have set themselves a great big precedent for the rest of us to ask "Don't we matter too?" Why should 65 million Britons of all nations of the UK have a foreign celebration rammed down our throats and little mention of our own?
Only casinos who have mentioned it will get my money this week. Trada I think sent an e-mail today but I deleted it but it may have been an April 23 promo.

Agree with what you say.

But for some reason St Patricks day has turned into a huge celebration across the world. Maybe the Irish just knew how to promote it better who knows. Personally I don't understand the big deal and theres all these parties in Glasgow as well for it. Well I understand that bit I guess.

But things like St Georges day etc no one outside of England seems to bother about.

Take Scotland. You will have all the St Patricks day junk. Come end of January lots of Burns suppers etc. to celebrate Burns night. A womanising, drunk , poet. But half the people in the country could probably not even tell you what date St Andrews day even falls on.

Yeah that was me (the chap who pointed out 32 Reds 100% were tied in to weekend temptation). Nevertheless they remain my favourite Casino, although now my docs approved at Videoslots my custom will be split ;)

Not a bad deal from 32 Red although it kind of makes me rush through play through. My first offer was just 50% as well so would have preferred usual 100% match. The second was 25% but I'm all played out for today so did not take up. See what tomorrow brings :)

Which is EXACTLY why he should be celebrated - worldwide! In fact you are correct - I know Burns Night is Jan 25th. but cannot for the life of me remember St. Andrews! November?

32 Red DOTD 100% day has been Fridays last couple of weeks so fingers x'ed for 2moro, Hope so as I've only got 20 quid of this weeks budget left

Ah that's good as I was trying to recall if it was Thurs or Fri last week. Done £50 last week.... Played it through on Rabbit in the Hat. Had £90 at the end of WR and then stupidly got carried away on Immortal Ro(suckfunds)mance and zeroed out. Vowed never to gamble again and Erm lasted two days .... But I've behaved rest of week with small deposits. Rabbit in hat was good to me today and cashed out £47 on a tenner deposit which softens the IR blow :)

Actually, I have noticed that the software with the most English-themed slots is RTG - American!!

Obviously we have numerous Irish ones: Leprechaun Goes Egypt, Leprechaun Paints His Fence, Leprechaun Does The Washing, Leprechaun Makes A Coffee etc. This is obviously due to the association with luck and myths like 'Luck O' The Irish' etc.
So yes, I'd expect numerous slots to have that type of theme.

We need some new slots with England themes. Netent do neutral games with little or no nationality links, but MG and other like Playtech do make nationally-themed games.

What about:

England - Battle Of Marseille World Cup 1998?
Binge Drink Apocalypse?
Morris Dancing Mayhem?
Cider Man?
Benefits Street Bash?
Skinhead Slaughter?

These great cultural advances need recognition in my opinion, in the slotting world.

And you forgot that classic that we all experience - The Costa Holiday Binge!!

A German with a sense of humour? Is that why you had to emigrate?:D

P.S. If there is any nationality here who hasn't been offended yet, be aware we don't discriminate. Just drop a message and we'll do our best to include you.

LOOL .. well, honestly, i am not a 100% German... although they still called us that.... the right name is Transylvanian Saxon...was born in very beautiful town of Brasov or Kronstadt in German language in Transylvania as part of a small minority of Germans, who been there for some 800 years and always part of either the German or Austrian-Hungarian Empire. Only after they lost the 1st World War was Transylvania given to Romania. Emigrated in 1984 to Germany as everybody was fleeing evil Ceaucescu but never really settled there. Hence, always had plans to live somewhere else and to do that you need to speak properly English. What better place to learn that other then in the British Midlands ;)

But yes, i fled Germany to join the British :D

A bit like Rudolf Hess then?:)

That leaves the way open to a whole lot of insulting, and it would be discrimination if you left anyone out!!

But I have to say I cant understand why the English dont make a fuss on their national day. Over here we have recently got over our baggage from the past, and Paddy's day is celebrated with as much gusto as it is in New York, Washington, Beijing and all the adopted Irish cities around the world. And you are right to say the Irish marketing department got a head start on everybody, and thats why most people want to celebrate their Irish heritage on the 17th March.

More person- based, but still:

'The Jeremy Kyle Slot' -

Watch Jeremy's various hilarious animations as he sneers at the underclasses. Includes stacked wilds!

The free spins are triggered when 3 'chav' scatters drop. The payout from this bonus round is capped at £55.

'The Katie Hopkins Slot'

This slot is so hateful that it actually has a RTP of 0, as it probably turns out you are benefits- scum and not paid enough into the system.

Bonus round consists of a Battleship- esque type game where the player attempts to sink as many immigrant boats as possible, with multipliers.

'The Nigel Farage Slot'

An extremely unpopular slot (and hard to play) as the entire screen is white

LOL...We DO make a fuss but the leftist media get tetchy with any flag waving and crosses borne by the English, and of course some Marxist/islamist councils ban taxis from flying the flag, or houses flying it too high on a pole (flagpole that is by the way!)
This intimidation spreads through society to point that those who do celebrate it become 'defiant' or 'dissenters'.

Your last comment reminds me of the 'Plastic Paddy' (media label not mine!) Irish World Cup Squad in the 1990.
English Manager. All of them played in the English League. 90% of them were born in the UK. Most didn't even have Irish names. One paper said 'If your grandma played bingo on a daytrip to Dublin once, you qualify to play for Ireland'. Yet the media hype and hysteria made you think the opposite was true. Personally I didn't give a stuff about any other team bar England, but in the press you'd be forgiven for thinking we had 2 teams entered.....

P.S. Goatwack - I'd play all of those, great ideas! I'd just add an Ed Milliband Slot: 'Grommet's Gamble' featuring 'Hyper Inflation Mutliplier' ''Bankrupt The Treasury Bonus' randomly-triggered EU Migrant feature, whereby random 'scrap collector' and 'pickpocket' wilds appear on the screen!
We really need to badger MG and Playtech with these ideas....
