Slots to Avoid

I'd avoid ANY Playtech game (sorry Playtech but never had a win on them EVER in the past)

Also: -
Tigers Eye - Deadly when 'cold'

Games to proceed with caution (not 'what they used to be'...)

Untamed Series - 'Killed them' when they were new, seem awful lately

BattleStar Galactica - Same reasons as above - 1000's of spins and never saw 'Super Big Win' never mind 'mega'

This is probably all just personal experience but I've defo noticed changes / trends in the zillions of spins done in the past

Cheers!

Zillions of spins? Is a zillion 10 or 100 or 1000 million spins for you? Or 4000? When did you noticed the changes? What sort of changes?

Just got a free bet from Paddy Power, for my Tuesday's misery ;) I played some Exclusives, but came across one soul destroying slot.
Gave me an idea for a thread, what about posting slots that are just badly designed, with poor paytables or just plain rubbish.
Here are my few, will update if I'm unfortunate enough to find others...

Plants vs. Zombies

Lady Robin Hood - Bally
The very nature of slots is the variance - big wins or big losses - every player has a different experience, and we all have different views on what is crap or not.
For instance, on those 2 I had decent hits with within the last 2 months. Like with most slots, it's all just about patience and a big slice of luck!

Slots which I think are crap are too many to mention really, but the biggest pile of pooh which first sprang to my mind was NetEnt's Space Wars.
What a heap of manure that is!

Space wars does stink mostly but I can't hate it too much I've had top symbol once which netted me a very nice return I then proceeded to blow the whole lot on DOA at 1.35 bets hahaha!:D

In my personal opinion:

NetEnt

Wish Master
Attraction
South Park
Go Bananas
Eggomatic

I try to avoid these games at all cost. Usually, I think the older NetEnt games are better, like Elements and Gonzo's Quest.

just took another battering at im at 32red, just cannot get a win on it, on the rare occasion i get the free spins i win just pennies...enough said

plants vs zombies i must admit i do quite like it....

but for me the worst slot ive ever had the pleasure to play had to be pink panther.......

The original Cleopatra (where the 'reels' spun properly too lol) was my very first experience of online gaming :) LOVED that game and won loads on it too, then I discovered a load of bad ones :(

Funnily enough, one slot that I felt let down by was Cleopatra 2. I played it at Aspers Casino in Stratford and I'd just won on the Elvis slot. I thought "I'm on a roll, let's hit one of the most reputed slots on the floor"... yeah, that worked! Hit absolutely nothing! As they say, form is temporary and class is permanent. Person who went on after me struck lucky.

My personal worst one was China River by Bally Technologies. I was writing a review for it so had to trigger the bonus feature... oh my days. Whenever someone whispers that slot's name a shudder goes down my spine. No joke, I played it on and off for about 2 days and did not even trigger the bonus. Maybe it was just one of those things. Maybe it just hated me? I don't know. That slot can do one as far as I'm concerned.

Zillions was just a phrase, I deposit and play almost every day, sometimes twice a day to give you an idea of how many spins I do across the same set of 10-15 favourite games (depends if deposit lasts how many games I play)
Mainly I've noticed that the MG games seem to be a lot 'tighter' originally I put it down to the fact that you can't win every time but this 'bad streak' is my longest ever in 10 yrs approx.

The 9-liners used to be a doddle to trigger a handful of bonus rounds especially Thunderstruck and Adventure Palace, which seem to eat recently and a lot harder to come by a feature and low paying if I do. Also I'd rarely do more than 2-3 sessions without hitting the top 5OAK (excluding wilds) on these games, cant recall last time I hit the 5 monkeys or Hammers etc.

Other favourites which gave me a 'win some lose some' play also have drifted to become more 'lose some, break even' which again doesn't seem like just a phase anymore, more likely every time!

I also would hit an Untamed feature say every 5th deposit for over 500x - something else which hasn't happened for months now.

Can't put my finger on whether its just me but as I've played for so long now, it starting to become more apparent and I'm more convinced that something had defo changed in the way these games play, maybe just a small drop in RTP to cope with the UK Taxes :p

Elements is such a great looking game with a very appealing feature - but I can't squeeze jack-squit out of it these days.
I remember having a few x100 features on when it first came out, but since then every single time I've played it, every bonus round has been total pants. :(

Whereas on 2 you rate as crap (South Park & Eggomatic) I have had heaps of play-time, entertainment and decent wins.
The other 3 are all hit or miss - capable of very big wins, but can suck you dry in no time when on a bad run.

Tiger's Eye - played it once, it felt like the Tiger's Eye was focused on my bollocks (or maybe just my bankroll) for supper. Pure evil. If I ever play it again, I might take a screenie and post it here....before giving you all permission to shoot me.

Untamed series - now I am divided here. Bengal Tiger is utter bile. Trailing wilds? What effing trailing wilds would they be exactly? Do they actually EVER land on the top of Reel 1? Or Reel 2? Such a steaming pile of horse manure of a slot it's beyond embarrassing.

Panda can be good, but it can also be a total "see you next Tuesday". Same with Wolf Pack. Crowned Eagle seems to be the best/least evil of the four. Though Panda has the best feature imo. I find the Wolf Pack running wilds more tortuous than Sofia's on Playboy. At least Sofia's come in once in a while.

Battlestar Galactica - again I am divided here. The paytable is quite poor. 100x wins are very hard to come by in comparison to other 243 ways slots. But it has done one thing for me that the others (ie TS2, IR, Playboy, JP, TFROL) haven't done - I haven't posted the screenie for it yet. But I can definitely understand why people dislike it. But the slot got me into the TV programme, which I really really enjoy, so it's growing on me a little.

Multi-player Avalon/PB/Isis/whatever - tried it twice, the first time it was nice, the second time it was twice as evil. I won't ever try it for a third time. £1 a spin is too rich for this low roller to be getting 400 spins of BS.

Alley Cats, Ho Ho Ho, Munchkins - boring as fuck, re-triggers do come, but to get a re-trigger, you first have to get an initial trigger. 300 spins without a free spins round and I felt like I was playing Tiger's Eye or Untamed. I'll assume I caught them on a bad day.

CashOccino - does my latte come with free spins or do I have to buy 400 of them first? What exactly does a 5OAK look like on this slot? Garbage.

Dr. Watts Up....I'll tell you "Watt's not up, Doc". My effing bankroll after playing your ghastly slot for 30 minutes. About as entertaining as MSRA.

Sterling Silver - played it once, never again. Should rename it Rusted Tin.

Supe It Up - played it once, I felt dirty and violated afterwards (steveyboy's exploits on that slot make him a (quite possibly insane) legend in my eyes).

Prime Property - that slot just makes my eyes hurt

The Twisted Circus - A slot designed by The Twisted Son Of A Bitch with the Twisted Sense Of Humour. Ghastly.

And I'm not overly enamoured with Terminator 2 or GWG - Jungle Heat.

I can't be arsed listing all the Playtech slots that I hate - I'd be here till December.....2015.

Sterling Silver... 2D or 3D? Hahaha. Not that it would make much difference. I didn't particularly enjoy either when I played them. Same shit, different dimension!

* This made me laugh big time, for most of what I was reading it was tho you were reading my mind, don't like to see peeps lose but glad I ain't on my own :p - Agree no point listing Playtech, plain and simple they're not worthy of my electricity or wear n tear on my 'mouse finger'

What a great story pals. And i do afraid playing the playtech games after reading this thread. Have someone ever proof their slots games RTP?

pmsl what a fantastic post.....i was in need of some entertainment after a few rum and cokes last night,

it just seems to me that no matter what slot i play at the mo i'm being annihilated:mad:

i really miss jackpot party...:(

i know other casinos have wms games in them but they feel different not quite as good...( magic wand being my favorite )

I am not a fan of slots that have been deliberately designed to attract a very casual slots player. They are usually branded, very low volatility and generally come with more different bonus rounds then you can keep track of. Just a few of the many:

Deal of No Deal: Bankers Riches - Gamesys
Ghostbusters - IGT
Battlestar Galactica - MG mentioned a few times in this thread
Scarface - Playtech
South Park - Net Ent

The good thing is that these are easy to spot and with the odd exception (Gladiator, Fantastic Four) they are all pretty much guaranteed to follow this mold.

Guys, I kid you not. Just yesterday ie Friday I nearly worked myself to death and my blurry eyes mistook the letter 'u' for the letter 'o' in the first word of the thread title. I was a bit disappointed to see it was actually 'slots' instead of well .....

I would never avoid a slut, bring em on, dirty bird bent over while slotting....heaven

Mainly the old MG slots, such as:
Robot Butler, Good to Go, Quest for Beer, Lucky Stars, Fighting Fish, Jellyfish Jaunt, Starscape, Steinfest, Lucky Witch, Get Rocked, Dragon's Loot, Dino Might, Liquid Gold, Path of the Penguin and Soccer Safari.

noted man  Although I did used to love G2G because I never found it so hard to get the retriggering speedometers even got this at a good bet once and turned £3 into £105 really quick that was a good day :). Preferred Secret Admirer though ;).

Anything Playtech, must have made 100 consecutive deposits various Playtech and never got close to winning with Blade giving me about 55% RTP over thousands of spins, unreal and very, very corrupt platform IMO.

All other software the occasional nice win streak to compensate but some slots I never win on.

MGS

Untamed series - somebody should be put to death for designing these. You have to be massively behind before you even get a shot at winning some money back and 99/100 you fail.

Deck The Halls
High variance I know but abut 50-55% RTP again with over 5 figures ins pins - corrupt.
Battlestar Galactica Smoke and mirrors rip off

Love haterelationships with;
Cashapillar
Immortal Romance

Net Ent

Jakhammer slots - rigged, rigged, rigged.
Wish Master - horrible graphics, horrible sounds, horrible payout.

Love hate;

Creature from the Black Lagoon
Dead Or Alive
Gonzos Quest

Not so much a particular slot to avoid but certain type of slots I try to avoid. IGT have many of this type, but most software providers have them also.
It's the slots you to pay extra to activate the bonus feature and it's usually half the total line bet.

The problem with this is the bonus rounds don't come any quicker they average 150+ spins and still pay shit.
Basically you've just paid 150+ half bets to get paid 10-20xbet.

A fecking con!
