Bonus Complaint Slots magic - forced bonus during slot play

I was playing a session of the "Montezuma" slot at Slotsmagic when during play a pop up appeared advising me I had 20 free spins. There was no option to decline these free spins so I pressed the button for the game to play the 20 spins. These 20 spins resulted in a pay of £12.80

Thinking this was odd, I then checked my account and lo and behold, these 20 free spins were a "forced" casino bonus I didn't want and couldn't decline. It has now resulted in me having to wager £756 before I can withdraw any of my cash. Can you image if these 20 spins resulted in a £200 win and the enormous amount of money to be wagered then!

I am disappointed that a reputable casino (and one that is accredited here) is able to force a bonus on a player.

I was playing with my own money and this bonus was forced onto me during play (quite crafty). It was not clear that it was a bonus, what the Ts and Cs were and most importantly I couldn't decline it.

An online chat with Slotsmagic asking for the bonus to be cancelled was not fruitful. They asked I send an email to their support team which has now been done.

Thought I warn others about this, what I believe, rather dodgy practice.

You could have just closed the casino and emailed the support asking to remove the spins, also if u haven't started wagering the 12 quid they might be able to remove the winnings

Its their promo i think with the first deposit resulting in 20 fs every day on a different game for 7 days but asking them would definitely have helped you

Replying a bit blind on this, slots magic isnt JPP and i haven't used them since, however if there is a term that states when sign up you accept the free spins as part of the sign up you simply cannot complain at the WR as you accepted the WR upon sign up, if the free spins were -optional- on sign up, if you didnt want them and the casino allows the removal of these spins via contact, again you should have requested this, what is obvous due to your admission is you clicked accept, and if you did so you accepted the terms linked to these, if you were unaware of these terms thats your own doing assuming they have the terms clearly printed on sign up. personally if i didnt want free spins on my bonus id contact support prior to a deposit to see if they were negotiable.

If you just don't play the free spins, it shouldn't create a bonus with WR until you are ready for it. Even if there is no "decline", you just close the popup or even the casino and ignore the free spins until you are ready to play them. Far worse is a bonus that is just dropped into your account during play as it immediately creates a WR.

    Thanks for the replies.

When I signed up some weeks ago, I declined the welcome bonus (99 free spins plus 100% bonus - quote WOW). I have been playing a lot of session without trouble.

My account shows my money plus the winning money from the free spins in the account. All of it is available and I have asked for the bonus money that I won (£12.80) to be removed.

Again, the pop up displayed said words to the effect that I received the free spins. Nothing to indicate it was a bonus, no link to the T's and C's associated with the bonus and - crucially in my opinion - no decline button. There was just an "OK" button which I clicked.

We'll see what the response to my email to them requesting the removal of the bonus is.

    Credit where credit is due.

Slotsmagic has now cancelled the bonus without any fuss and have also excluded me from future bonuses as per my request.

PS: Is there a way I can amend the topic title to include that the matter has been resolved?
