Casino Complaint Sky Vegas suspended my account - no feedback

Either way, yet another case of a casino taking the piss and confiscating funds with a brick wall silence. Something needs to be done about this.

Sky are well known for doing such things with punters that are more savvy than others on the betting side of the coin.
For clarity - they suspended the account, they have since released the funds but closed it. Obviously holding onto player funds for an investigation for seven weeks isn't the best look either, but they haven't confiscated anything afaik.

Then went back to 1 hand blackjack for the majority of play. Again, like I said, if I've done anything I wish they would have just been transparent and told me what I've done as I think it's BS that they came out and said "We have made a business decision, in accordance with clause 18.2 of our terms and conditions, to no longer offer you our services. We will not enter into any further communications regarding this decision."
They will always have such clauses to fall back on - and it ties into a long-standing discussion about bookies and casinos not being willing to "stand a bet" anymore. Anyone that wins gets put under the microscope, and in many cases will be kicked to the curb for no reason (which is what 18.2 mostly is - you won too much, get out).

If the original reason was responsible gambling - it would have probably involved a phone call and that would have quickly provided clarification (and resolution - either they would have allowed you to continue, required set limits, or closed you out depending on your answers).

Somewhat makes sense the security team would be interested given a large win on tables, and they have a high level of paranoia given the number of advantage players out there. They will pretty much never mention the reason (whether major or minor) because they don't want to give clues to the opposition on how they are monitoring gameplay.

Well he wasn’t allowed access to his funds for 7 weeks and they wouldn’t give him a valid reason. So imo they ‘confiscated’ his money and refused him access to it.

Obv I’m glad the OP got it returned, but it’s just yet another story about how things can turn sour with the player not being able to do anything.

Disgraceful.
