Whilst playing on sky poker in 1 of there bounty hunter games, i was in a hand with 4 others, i had 3 of them covered with my stack and after the turn we are all all in, well the river comes and makes me a full house, great im thinking 3 heads and a large stack of chips, until the screen goes funny like as if i was being moved to another table and i then see ive got less chips than i started the hand with, firstly i thought i had miss read someones hand and hadnt won, so i look at the hand history to find out to my suprise the hand had been voided, i contacted there live help who looked at the hand history and said they cant see why it happened but they would get it investigated.
the following evening a lady rings me to say they are refunding my buyin and the value of the 3 heads and roughly another £6 to compensate me for what had happened, i was not very happy but she said thats all we are prepared to do, when i asked why this was voided she said we dont no we think it was a blip in our system and our specialist poker team will investigate and get back to me, i had several emails over the next week as id heard nothing and thought what they had offered me was a joke all they said was we are investigating still, and as i write this over 3 weeks have passed and still ive had no explaination, and they havnt even bothered to answer my last email from over a week ago.
I am shocked to no that these large poker sites can have BLIPS in there system, ive been playing online poker for many years and have never heard anything like it, and i feel very let down that still they have given me no reasonable explaination or compensation.
Any ideas on what i can do next ?
And to any sky poker customers or potential customers beware this could happen to you and they will do very little for you.
