Always loved Skrill but I am now seriously thinking of closing my account.
Since last week my account is locked due to extra verifications that needed to be done.
After 10 years being a VIP user!!!!!
Ok,They needed me holding my passport next to my face so I have sent in already about 8 pictures and they keep declining them.
If this is not bad enough,I used a new VISA card for a once off upload and now they want a statement where the card number is printed on.
This account is a current account I use very little and all I have on this account are online statements which show my name and address and my IBAN and BIC number..The card number is NOT published on these statements so I decided to e-mail the e-statement and copy of front and back of the card with my name CLEARLY on it.
Also this was not accepted.
I don't know what happened to Skrill but it has become a useless online payment provider.
If you call them you always get a very uninterested (eastern european) person on the line.
If you complain they just hang up.
E-mails take days/weeks to be answered.
I have given up and I will seek a different provider.
Still have a Neteller account and an online Paysafe account but I think they are in some way incorporated with Skrill.
Any other options??
