Totally agree mate, massive case of ‘ made your bed now lie in it ‘Yeah, and if it wasn't for that 'Wild West' there probably wouldn't have been any need for the UKGC.
I do cover this from time to time on my channel, the reduction to MG RTPs in particular I flagged up because I think it's pretty scummy that they're going back and gimping a lot of the classics, even really old games like Thunderstruck. (The original that is, not TS2!)MG now can alter RTP? No way?
At least half of that blame goes to the providers who offer identical versions of their games but with a lower RTP. Fuck that.Nope. I won't play at casinos using the lower RTP versions..
They need to be publicly highlighted and humiliated.
That is until enough players know about the reduced RTP, and stop playing those versions.Naturally, providers are making more profit when a game is making more profit.

Or maybe don't actually know about RTP, but start realising they aren't getting the return or play-time they used to get and stop playing those versions.
The same could be said for those casinos who reduce the RTP. They may eventually only be making the same amount of money as they did before reducing the RTP because of a reduction of players/deposits.
Or, at least, not be making as much as they expected to, by reducing the RTP
NoLimit does offer it...At least half of that blame goes to the providers who offer identical versions of their games but with a lower RTP. Fuck that.
They don't have to do it, they choose to. Popular slot providers such as BTG, Push Gaming and NoLimit (I think) don't do it.
Or, y'know, just play at casinos that don't water down their beer.
Assuming there's any left..i won't hold my breath.
it's the move from 96.65% to 92.05%, as Skill-on-net have done with TSII etc. Which will really make a difference, never mind just dropping to 94%Well it's kind of up to us as players to an extent, it genuinely boggles my mind as to why people choose to set fire to their money playing at casinos running lower RTPs. I get that perks can make up for some of it, but IMO nothing's going to make up over the long term for a 50% increase in the house edge, which is what a move from 96% to 94% represents.
Seriously folks, if no one plays the gimped versions, they'll stop putting them out there.

There are 92% versions of TS2 out there which suggests they'll offer the same for IR too.
My conclusion is:
1) Stick to a small number of casinos who only offer the top RTPs.
and
2) Even then, check the help file every time you load in a game before you start spinning.
