Ok heres the deal.
(now i can be loosing my mind but I don't ever recall this situation happening before)

I deposited 26.50 into redflush..I received an automatic 20% bonus..
I am playing and playing..and i take a look at my bonus balance in the software and it says that my bonus balance is over 30$ and my cash is 2$...
I am like whAAAT?? so i go into live chat support and i am told that any money that we win from a feature( like free spins or a bonus round) will always go into our bonus balance and not our cash balance..
Is this correct? I can see if i had made no deposit and had received some free spins or something but not if I made a deposit..
I have been playing at these MG casinos for years and I have never noticed this before. I was told it has been like this for years..
Your thoughts anyone??? Has this really been the norm for years?

thanks all

Hopefully the way i have explained this makes sense...
I don't think it is correct either..i did ask if they were still ecogra certified and the person told me yes and that i was welcome to check with them.
I play a lot on line and mostly MG casinos and this is the first time I have EVER seen this...does anyone else play at red flush and have they experienced this?

I do have the chat saved...i will post it here ..maybe i am missing something..

Please wait while we connect you to a site operator.

You are now chatting with 'James'

James: Welcome to the Casino. How may I assist you?

kellye : hi i made a deposit of 26.50 and i received a 20% bonus. however now when i looked at the money in my acct it is saying that i have a 34.16 bonus and only 4.24 in cash..i dont think this is right..

James: One moment for me please...

kellye : ty

James: i have checked on this and cannot find a reason why this is. we will have to look into this further and get back to you.

kellye : ive never seen it do this before at any microgaming

kellye : i guess i will still play and then if i need to cashout or something that will be where the problem is

kellye : it is like my winning are going toward my bonus

kellye : winnings oops sorry

kellye : are you going to inquire?

James: okay, if you are getting wins on features they will go to bonus not cash

James: yes.

kellye : why is that?

kellye : wins on features?

kellye : when did that start? you mean when i win something in free spins or a bonus it doesnt credit my acct?

James: when you win on free spins its added to your bonus not cash.

kellye : when did this start?

kellye : you mean to tell me that my wins on free spins is not cashable?

James: this has been that way for some time now.

kellye : only at red flush?

James: thats correct, they are added to your bonus balance

James: we dont have other casinos.

kellye : were we notified?

kellye : i cannot believe this lol

kellye : you are the only casino i have seen that does this

James: Yes when rules are made we place a notification up on the casino

kellye : are you ecogra certified?

kellye : can u provide to me the date when this began?

kellye : i have never seen this done anywhere

James: yes we are Ecogra certified.

kellye : james is there a manager there i can chat with?

James: i am not sure of the date this bagan, i have been with tyhe casino 2 years and it has been that way.

James: i am the senior supervisor on shift

kellye : i have never seen this before.

kellye : ty for your time

James: pleasure to assist

James: you are welcome to contact Ecogra and inquire.

kellye : im just saying

kellye : that i can see if you are given free spins without a deposit

kellye : i can see those spins going toward a bonus balance but not if you are playing with your own money

James: yes, however you must remember that you had a bonus balance added to your account which had to be wagered upon.

James: i understand your logic in this sense however that is how the games are set up.

kellye : ok ty

This doesn't look right...

I think CS is confusing a "free spins bonus" with a "bonusround/freespins while playing with a bonus". Two completely different things.

Dunno the solution though :p

I just played at redflush. Deposited and had a bonus added to it. I at no time noticed that my bonus value went up at all. I had a lot of features and free spins. Bonus finished and i cashed out. I have never encountered what you have stated before, so I think there is something wrong. Find their rep and message them on this.

This has happened to me at Red Flush when I had a small bonus balance left from a previous free spins promo or deposit bonus - if you don't zero out it will add the value of your previous bonus to your new bonus.

Did you receive a bonus on your last deposit?

I'll bet that is the problem.

No, that isnt what happened..i had a zero balance, made my deposit and received a 20% bonus. I then played..and what they did was each time i won anything on free spins or in a bonus round on a slot they didnt credit my account with the money, all they did was add it to the bonus amount. And after speaking to them, this is how they said it is supposed to be..
Im going to try to PAB with their manager..and see what happens..I really think this is wrong, if nothing else very very shady..LoL

It isn't the way it's supposed to happen.

Sounds like your previous bonus became "sticky" for some reason.

Contact the Rep here first before you PAB.

there is definitely a bug in the mg bonus system. at one mg casino my whole account balance was neatly divided into 2 equal parts no matter how much i won. say i deposited 30 and got a 30 bonus. when my balance went to 100 the cas bal was 50 and the bonus balance was also 50. at another mg it was even worse. my bonus balance increased as i won and the cas balance remained constant. i am also sure i zeroed out before i deposited so there should have been no carryover with regard to unfinished wrs.

I have been told this same thing from more than one MG casino re. wins from free spins are credited to the bonus, not cash account. I would invite a rep from any accredited MG casino to comment on whether this is the case at their casino. 32 Red? What's your take on this? Any other takers?

I know that sometimes when playing through a bonus I am surprised that after a lot of play, how little the bonus account is reduced. I asked support about it one time and they said $$'s in bonus account are moved to cash account in $10 increments, which explained a lot to me. At the time, I didn't think to ask them where the $$'s from free spins are allocated when playing with a bonus, but I know I have been told the same thing as the OP before... however I can't remember where.

Unlike many here, I don't have the patience to record all bets and determine where I am at with wagering requirements. If I am having a good run, I continue playing and cashout if I have a decent enough balance to do so.
If I am having a bad run, I never make it through the wagering requirements so it's a moot point for me regarding how much I have played through.

But it would be great to get a sampling of CM members playing different MG casinos to ask CS if $$ from free spins are credited to the cash or bonus account and then report back here your answers in regard to the MG casino you are playing at!

Now that you mention it, I've had the same thing once at Jackpot City, playing a 100% match.
I was doing rather good, but everything I won was divided 50/50 over my cash and bonusbalance.
I contacted support and the guy told me this was normal (really?) and that the entire bonusbalance would turn into cashbalance the moment I would meet the WR.
This appeared to be true, I met the WR and could withdraw with no problems.
Still its a bit silly, as you cannot keep track of your WR this way.
Never seen it at any other Micro.

To the OP:
Maybe you have an unfinished game somewhere?
If for example your last spin on a slot paid something and you exit the game without clicking 'collect', or if you got disconnected during a spin, the system will not recognize your zero out, and the WR of a previous bonus will remain intact.

What support told you is bollocs, if winnings from bonusmoney go to the bonusbalance you cannot possibly clear the WR, not in a million years.

I have found Red Flush CS to be pretty clueless. James has no idea what he is talking about, but won't admit it. He has plucked what he thinks is a plausable explanation out of thin air, but probably based on his incomplete knowledge of the MGS "free spins" promotion where spins can be added to certain games as a way of granting a bonus. This IS where the results of those free spins are added to the bonus balance, and THIS is the MGS feature that has "been like this for some time".

Craig had 8 years experience, not that it helped him when presented with a bug I found on the Summer Holiday slot, where I just got explanations that tried to fit the results, rather than any real attempt to investigate the weird results themselves.

A supervisor got involved, but was only slightly less clueless, and it ended with MGS being asked to audit the session. This was over a month ago, and I have heard NOTHING, despite almost the entire team up to floor management level getting involved.

What has happened is "the bug", known to exist, and pretty obvious when it manifests itself, but operators and MGS are "in denial", because THEY could not POSSIBLY be at fault, it HAS to be the PLAYER that has simply mis-understood something far too complicated for their "pretty little patronised heads" to understand.

Just noticed your name is spelled like mine. As popular as our name is, I have only come across a few people spelled our way! I always tell my parents "Thank you for giving me a name that everyone misspells!!!" LOL

Vinyl... that might explain what a CS person told me in the past i.e. referring to promotional bonus spins and confusing it regular regular free spins in a bonus round. Thanks!

LOL...I wish someone would have intervened on my behalf. On the other hand, if I have to have such a common name, at least it is different from most everyone else's. I just get very aggravated when people mispronounce it and say Kell-ye.

I had the same sort of thing happen to me at - I don't remember whether it was Dash or Golden Lounge - but one of the 32Red group anyhow. My bonus funds all of a sudden jumped to double. I asked in chat and they said that first it looked like an old bonus that hadn't been cleared. My account was at zero when I deposited, but they said maybe it could be something like if I had a feature round sitting in some game that I hadn't played the last time I took a deposit bonus....but then they double checked and said, nope it's a mistake and they fixed it.

The only casino I remember that did that bonus wins only going into your bonus account was at Wizard gaming, remember that? I think it's a mistake, I'd contact the rep and see what's up.

Reminds me of the guy up the road whose name was Dudley Crapp.

A few of us had a christmas drinkies one year and suggested he change his name given he had no kids or wife and that he might be doing them, and himself, a favor.

So, after a few months he showed us a change of name via deed poll certificate which he had just been granted.

It read:

"Andrew David Crapp"

Amazing I have only seen one other person with this same spelling and I think she played in the television show MASH..I have gone through everything you mentioned and it really makes me laugh..I have a friend who spells her daughters name Keleigh..that is kinda different too..
My mother said this was her thinking..she wanted to name me Kelly but she thought that everyone that saw "Kelly" would assume it was a boy..so she stuck an "e" on the end so it would make it look more girl like..
Now back to my bonus problem..<smile> I have posted something here for the rep from Red Flush to read but it doesn't really show a contact there, it just says a representative or something..from the looks of things it doesn't look like they respond much. (from reading the other posts over there) ..any other ideas?..
thanks everyone!

Not over HERE they wouldn't:what:

Unisex names usually have one gender in which they are far more common. Take "Carol", it is POSSIBLE that it refers to a boy, but 99.9% of the time you would be safe assuming it is a girl (Poland is an exception, where a slight spelling variant is more common in BOYS).

The US had "Kelly's Heroes" TV series a long while ago, so maybe THIS is why in the US the name is less easy to assign to a gender.

Your mum could have chosen a different name that NO-ONE could mistake, any proper Girl's name except "Sue":D
