Silver Oak Casino warning

I posted at APCW yesterday and have not had one comment one way or another. I thought that Gambling Wages and APCW were tight.

And by the way, no money and no contact with Silver Oak. I would imagine they hope I go away. :D

Duh! BTW, glad you didn't risk any real money with such a skanky casino. Someone really needs to put the smack down on these shisters. It's still like the wild west out there.

This appalling, to say the least. "Due to the amount of payouts"? This says cash flow problems loud and clear. Have to wait for some other hapless sucker to deposit first.

Eventually they will run out of hapless suckers, and no one will be paid.

I thought it was bad enough that the OP was told that as a non-depositing player she was of lower priority. How on earth would a casino expect a player to return after comments like that.

I wish you luck in receiving your funds...I know sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

This group offers such good bonuses (and they can be redeemed infinite times) and cash back, that you're almost guaranteed to win in the long run -- provided that you don't play much past the wagering requirements, or reverse your withdrawal, (and that they pay out in the end.)

So how do they make money? By taking a long time processing cash outs. Many players care more about "play time" than cashing out a win, and so will reverse their withdrawal or parts of it. These kinds of players seem to get preferential treatment with respect to cashout times.

If you have the patience to wait for a withdrawal without reversing it (or parts of it), then you're not the type of customer they want so they don't care if you don't deposit again.

That's my theory...

The payout department hasn't answered my e-mail I sent them some days ago.

Scam. I think the casino has ran out of gas.

Bjrn x Hi, is Mike K working?
Paola: Welcome to Silver Oak Casino! How can I assist you today?
Paola: Not yet can you try in 45 minutes

The Live Support is a joke. Like robots.

Knows nothing, just have every question prewritten.

OK, I can't say I didn't give out fair warning.

roslilj,

Forget about trying to get much out of live chat. Call them on the phone. You might get lucky and get Mike. I did a couple of times.

Just keep dogging them if it's worth it to you. Like I said, I kept at it because it became a matter of principle and besides, I didn't deposit my money and if they really became pissy and didn't pay, oh well. I would just post what a crappy casino they were all over the web.

I have got an e-mail from @casinosupportcenter.com

It looks like I have recieved the money after all.

roslilj,

Hope it's really there and glad you finally got paid. Now take your money and play somewhere that you won't have to work so hard to collect. :D

roslilj,

Call them and have them give you the WU tracking number for your cashout. Then go now to a WU center and pick up your money before they decided to cancell it. If they can't give you a tracking number, they probably haven't sent it.

As for Virtual, as I recall, they are a part of that group.

Yes, the only reason I played there was becouse of the free chip offer. I will never deposit at that casino/virtual casino group. Their payout system is a real joke.

roslilj,

Based on how they handle withdrawals, they don't seem like the same operation as Virtual. They are part of the group formerly known as the Chrystal Palace group.

Thank you for the Silver Oak Warning!!!!

Thank God for Casinomiester forums....I got an offer from Silver Oak in the mail the other day....seems I am a "Level 5 VIP" at a casino I've never played at before.....things that make you go hmmmmmmmm? Anyway, the promo goes on to say that they give away 10 trips to "all over the Globe" per month, and AS a "Level 5 VIP" player I am already eligible to win - for the rest of my life, no less. So I was really scratching my coconut to see where they would have gotten my home address and all my details. Back in my stupider gambling days I played at Virtual (I know, I know...) so I guess that solves the mystery. Anyway, this promo sounded too good to be true, so I wanted to see what the Casinomeister-ers had to say about them before I put any money on board. Needless to say, the promo just went in the trash. thanks guys!!! :)

It looks like they ARE part of the Virtual group after all. The Virtual group set up a website called Casinomasterlive(dot)com, and on it advertised the Virtual casinos, AND their "ahem" supposed COMPETITORS, the old Crystal Palace group. Not only this, but BOTH sets of casinos were offering the EXACT same welcome promo, using the EXACT same code, and the EXACT same terms and conditions. WHY would they not "compete" against each other, like proper competing casino groups would. It looks like they are not "competing" simply because they are ALL part of Virtual.
The Crystal Palace casinos were even rebranded because of the poor reputation they had, and the idea was to make players think they were newcomers. This gave the owners (Virtual:rolleyes:) a chance to lure the unwary, and players who were already well aware of which Virtual casinos to avoid, but would try out a "new" casino with no bad press just to see what it was like.
