Should casinos be given a choice to hide rtp and choose rtp?

Thanks yes, it was regarding (thanks Trilej) why PNG come in Euro and not CAD on a CAD acct.

I am investigating the situation with a dedicated department.

So Im pretty dense when it comes to RTP. I play at Crazy Vegas outside of VS. Their RTP is not showing on any of their games. My game time is brutal as with VS ( I just have shite luck) I went on chat just now, and asked why theirs werent showing, she couldnt answer but did say my overall RTP is 70%. That is awfully low isn't it?

Betat gives you your RTP of the last session, last game played and your overall lifetime RTP. maybe VideoSlots could add that too?
 
It has been a few days, I just looked again at Rizk and Guts. I don't see any change, is the TRTP in another place? Do they need more time?
If only UK sees it, it looks like the intention was to hide it. Same goes for all, I just don't have time to look at every casino right now.

On another note - Guts support has just confirmed the end of the 40% weekly Monday bonus, this is a real shame as it was one of the best out there with decent wagering. Is there anything new in the pipeline?

I do not, unfortunately, have an answer yet to the CAD-->EUR query yet.

In regards to the 40% weekly Monday bonus, it is unfortunate to see it go, but there can be expected new static promotions that will be just as good and even more engaging!

We will bring the positive feedback further to echo in the promotions lab.

There can be more to expect from us without a doubt!

To my knowledge the settings cannot be different by country, although they can be by setup. The setup is different by jurisdiction (different servers and game configuration since the UKGC requires lots of additional features, like for Responsible Gaming) so UK is different from MGA. Although I believe (will confirm tomorrow with our game manager) that a casino could use the UK setup for the rest of the world since it is also compliant with MGA directives. If I’m right it would indicate that the games LV displays are on the UK setup.

As far as I can see, as a UK player. The RTP is back to being displayed in the helpfiles for the 94% version.

There is an easy way to check though, since the different RTP's are different versions of the games.
If you look at the address of the helpfile window. It shows which version of the game you're playing.

pid=238 is the 94.% RTP
pid=118 is the 96% RTP

I would assume that if you find a number other than 238 or 118 then that'll be the very lowest setting, whatever it is (92% ???)

Nope. Can also be another language of something. I've once started to make a spreadsheet with all those pid's, but I stopped, because there was no correlation between pid and rtp.

Im 100% sure that verajohn and guts uses different rtp version than videoslots...

I believe you, because it makes sense given the information we already have. But it is shocking to hear a confirmation like this!

I wonder if changing the TRTP in free spins is something many UKGC and MGA casinos do.

It is something free so I am not sure if there are regulations against it.
 
today is not my lucky day.

After having been slaughtered at my usual "go-to" casino, and having been assisted really BADLY with their CO, I decided to TAB and yes I clicked that button.

Not happy, since my ewallett still had some little money available, I played at a Curacao-licensed casino which is offering PnG games.

Of course - since today is not my lucky day - I had a terrible run, and so I went into the info pages to find what RTP they offer. Obviously, no sign of RTP there.

So, I challenged my destiny and I opened the chat. And -considering today it's not my lucky day- I had the confirmation that there are MANY settings available and this casino which I won't mention is not displaying them. Basically they told me: hey we are here in Curacao, we enjoy your money, we will NOT display the RTPs, since we have not to do it, and if you are not happy, go to AskGamblers.

It seems that the accounts that were originally registered with EUR will not be able to play with CAD since Play'n Go does not support currency change. It stayed as EUR for the players when the currency on our side changed to CAD. In this case, the currency issue should affect only the old accounts, created around 2013.

I wish it would be that simple.

It's, however, not possible to create a new account, as players are only able to have one account here at Guts.com. :( Closing and reopening the account would affect only the account that exists already.
