Are there any on here?

Am I gonna get banned for asking such a question?

What do YOU think?

I know shills are those who run up auction prices on behalf of the seller but what does or is a shill in context of a forum? Do you mean a shill for casinos or something?

Yes. Oui. Da.

ALLEGEDLY there are shills roaming the forums.

Getting paid by the casinos to say how good they are and posting screenshots and suchlike.

Just wanted to see what everybody else thought.

My question is, why would you ask whether you'd get banned here just for asking that question, cheeky?

Yes, "tennis_balls" is quite right. I'd sell-out for "Mrs. Peel" any day of the week. ;)

Actually, I welcome shills. Most shills are first time posters who haven't a clue on how I scrutinize certain postings. It's pretty damn funny to bust them out. Perhaps if I had more time, I could dig up some of the old postings where this has happened. :D

Come to think of it, it hasn't happened for a long time - some dude posting about how great xyz casino is, and his IP points at the casino's domain. It's usually the crappy clip-shot joints that attempt this. Most of them are smart enough not to try this here.

Funny you should mention that...(sorry to derail the topic)

Placed a bid on an item over at eBay three days ago, 2 hours before it was due to close, wham someone comes in and out bids me... then it was tick tack toe for then next 2 hours.

I placed my final bid and 5 min before it closed another bid came in. I said to my g/f I bet that item will be relisted in 24 hours...Yep received an email from ebay 3 hours ago to that exact message.

I've since contacted ebay with a complaint.

This was the first time I'd used eBay & it will be the last

Actually CM, speaking of funny sh#t, yep another not meant to de-rail the topic post, but...

You got hand it to yourself, that Nigerian scammer you led on a merry trip up the garden path was one of the funniest things I've ever read...

BTW how is young Kilgore Trout Esq doing these days?

:D
