Apparently you really don't understand or have knowledge of the complete story or drama, especially played out over the whole CAP meltdown. And besides, Lou's name is mentioned all over the 'net. It's not like CM was the originator.

And again, he's only posting facts. If he were posting his opinions on the matter, then yes, it would be libelous. But hey, facts are not.

Also, there's quite a difference between ethical and blackhat webmasters.

Don't put words in my mouth. I am the editor in chief of this site and what I say goes when it comes to editorial content. I never said I would go out of my way to harm someone's business, but if someone is exploiting this site I will put a stop to it.

Exactly and this is the case in point. If one of Lou's staff hadn't shilled his sites, this thread would not be here. The fact is it has happened twice now.

When you join a forum on the internet and I mean any forum in any industry. There is a form of unwritten rules that you have to go by, that if you are a webmaster, or work for a webmaster you should all too well know about.

One of those unwritten rules, is not to spam another forum, with links back to your own sites, that you either own or run. If you do, then you run the risk of being exposed.

As for naming Lou. Well I am pretty sure 99.9% of the webmasters who frequent here, know full well that Lou owns Casinofan.com.

If you want to take umbrage at anyone TOC, it should be with Lou, who still apparently hasn't learnt his lesson from January 2009. When he was exposed as being behind Card Spike.

Fact remains. Bryan didn't give him permission for one of his staff members to shill this forum. Lou caused this whole problem and now he has been rumbled, he is crying foul.

His name has been "in the public domain" for a while, even if it does not appear on OFFICIAL record. Information in the public domain is no longer "priviliged information".

There is also the argument of "disclosure in the public interest", where disclosure of the information protects unsuspecting members of the public from a scam. There is, of course, a responsibility to ensure that what is disclosed is TRUE, and can be proven.

The alleged "shills" may not have been "in your face", BUT they did not disclose truthfully who they were, and then initiated discussion of their own products, but pretending to be nothing more than a player, whereas they were an employee of said properties.

I am sure than if Bryan tried some "under cover research" on Casinofan, and was found out, he would be banned faster than the shills here were.

Lucky Lizzie is back, but this is probably because she has assured Bryan that she is participating in a personal capacity, rather than as an employee of Casinofan. She is also subject to rules regarding off limit topics.

Without the dishonesty, Casinofan could have tried registering a "rep" for the properties, so that when posting it was clear to others that it was a rep posting, rather than an ordinary player.

Yes I was trying to work toward adding a signature at the bottom with a link. I made that very clear from the beginning. I don't think that I would call my posts fluff though. I was trying to contribute to this forum. Some people even liked my posts so I must have been doing something right.

He has been nothing but a perfect gentleman who stresses the importance of being white hat and not to do anything wrong.

I had no idea of his past and personally I feel that people learn from their mistakes and that whatever happened in the past has been learned from. From what I have seen Lou is a genuinely good guy and cares about the players who visit his sites.

ok I see how you could see that as shilling but it was an honest question. I wanted to find out what you guys thought about that site so that I would know if it is worth promoting. Yes i did invite you Lizzie as i also invited alot of affys and friends, if im not mistaken, i also kinda warned you about spamming there regarding a poker issue, it wasnt nothing major so i gave it little thought.

When we did our security check, which Cindy does daily, we had 4 IP addys come up from the same place, there was some background work done and Lou came up.

We do not ban people, just because we dont like who they work for or who they are, we ban people for spamming, shilling and thats what you all were banned for, it says it right in your profiles, multi IP abusers.

We are new and we are growing and we will not tolerate spammers as we throw out the rubbish daily.

Had you have said hey i work for Lou and we share an office, so watch out for multi Ip's we would have taken this into consideration but you had no intention of telling us and we gave you plenty of time, so we took it upon ourselves and the past given reputation of your employer to ban your memberships, we will not be taken advantage of and neither will our members tolerate this.
