I redeemed a free chip, ndneeded for 25. Made the 500 playthrough and went to cashier where I saw a large withdrawable sum. I cashed out 350 via courier check and went back to play more. About 40 mins. later my balance increased as the withdraw was put back into my balance amt. 5 mins. later I was locked out. Ian of support claimed I had another acct. which I never had. He appologized, let me back in and my entire balance was gone. Said I used a coupon there before. I have never played here before. Can you help. my acct name at shark is charlesturner.

    What Can I say?

As of 8 days ago I was Shark's Casino Manager.

I left for a few reasons ... if they cant even pay their staff right imagine the players??
Shark Casino is linked to Betus.com which as we speak 500 employes have yet to recieved their paychecks since Kevin C King the CEO has instructions of finding flaws and excuses not to pay commisions.

When a casino manager recieves in an email to bring down the payouts and start creating fine print rules.. thats my Q to leave I worked for shady places as the Virtual Casino Group and it was awful I refuse to work for shady establishments.

People good luck if ya player there

although i give you credit for posting this i have no sympathy for you or the other employees not getting paid. i read your posts. you are no fool. you know what kind of operations these are. if you dont want to be a crook, get a real job. if you want to be a crook then at least be a good one. dont work for these loser outfits. employees of these outfits get what they deserve. skunx i'm sure you can do much better.

I would like to think I am not a crook.
You are right we do know what type of operations these are but until 2 weeks ago shark was paying out in 24 to 48 hours I even opened up a player from THIS forum and she played and when she won she had her moneygram the next day . I was brought in to " change " things and when I saw that things couldnt be " changed " I resigned .

I worked under false expecatations at the Virtual Group and you can ride me all you want for that but i swore I wouldnt work like that again. I understand your point of view 100% but its not that easy for us in the industry I live in Costa Rica , my wife is a local and my 2 babies have all their families here I cant just fly out to the UK or , the Isle of Man , Antigua and look for a 5 star company that easily though it has crossed my mind. The job situation here isnt the best anymore after the law passed and BETONSPORTS closed down.

One does what he can , right now I am hapoy to say I moved on to a 5 star rated company all over the internet and is stand up straight , it is sportsbook and casino.

I know you guys think of us as crooks sometimes but some of us do really try and be honest its hard in this industry when you try and be honest and the only place available for employment is half way decent , I still feel I did the right thing I moved on and didnt sell myself out .

To each his own thats all I have to say , no player from Shark can say I never was there when they called me for a payout , complaint I was right there and didnt hide behind the support staff like most RTG managers do . I did my best and failed.. time to move on

    Hi Skunx,

It seems you have trodden on the same path as Phnqster, well at least the same casinos. I never called or believed he was a crook and the same for you. Everybody has to make a lving and when one works for an evil organisation, this does not necessarily translate to a person being unethical. All companies have the same goal -profit and when some of these committed unscrupulous acts, can we call all their employees crooks? Alternatively, can we also say that all players that work for renowned comoanies are saints. I doubt it. Unless we really notice some rogue behavior from Skunx in conning players, I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt.

    Thank you Chuchu ,

Yes ironic as it may seem my and Phynqster have had about the same ride .
I did my best at Shark , I tried to keep it clean and simple and avoid any complaints and for a few months there it was good but let me just say this upper management in Betus.com and Shark casino are not the brightest individuals to set foot in the industry.

Thats all from me I do think their CEO is a two faced con artist , who scouts good workers from other companies calls them offers them the world and then when they are at Betus he fails to fulfill their promises and then people are stuck .

This is why and how I left UltimateBet.com you live and you learn , hopefully this thread will cause some sort of awareness and wont be forgotten.

    Skunk,
Don't forget that Kevin came from Virtual, he was in charge of the Sports Book, (Royal). I wish you all the best and hope all things go well for you. If you make it to Los Angeles look me up. It is funny, I have a good job here in the US, work where I can see the ocean every day. Have beautiful California woman walking in the promenade, but I still miss the rush of running the casino. It was such an extreme high, if there was a way of doing the same job in the US I would stand in line for a month. One thing people have to understand is that at Shark and Virtual, they were and are not set up like most of the online casinos. These casinos get involved with there players, it really is a relationship. That is why there are problems when players are just looking to win and are not interested in any interaction. The bread and butter at casinos like these are the players who just want someone to chat or talk with. We use to joke that we were nothing more than a 900 number.

Yeah... but have a 'falling out' with one manager and watch your juice evaporate through the whole system. Not worth the added gamble to me. (and I know you're not encouraging anyone to play there, nor am I)

    Good to see you, phynqster.

    Thanks Phynqster,

Actually things took a turn for the best and I am now in a good place and will start my own affiliate site soon.

Your right the rush is amazing and I love but you know that there arent many casinos left in Costa Rica or at least any good ones.

For now im at the sports industry with some casino . As for Kevin ... what can you expect he is good pals with the owner of Virtual Group.

Maybe one day we will have a drink and a few laughs .

Sorry to interrupt the love-in, but assuming you are who i think you are Skunx it wasn't really very ethical to be touting for massive deposits just before jumping ship was it?

Everything you have heard is true!!!! He use to call the managers in his office every morning and ask how the casino did the night before, while holding a gun, and tell you if the numbers were not good he would shoot you. And one time the gun actually went off, and just missed killing two managers. Yes, I know some of you are thinking too bad he missed. But that was before I got there. He is one of the strangest men I have ever worked with. He is extremely intimidating and meanicing, and that is to his friends. If he does not like you, God forbid. But as horrible as he is like that, he really is not a bad guy in some aspects. I have never not seen him loan someone money if they needed it or done much more as in get them a lawyer, a place to stay, bail out of jail. As I tell my friends that are there still, The company is like a disfunctional family. In this business where most employees come and go, I would say over 50% of his employees have been with him at least 3 years or more. He also was one of the first people in the building and last to leave. He is extremely demanding, but would reward you if you hit his goals, the problem is his goals were usually unatainable. He is the type of person you would rather lie to than tell the truth if the truth was not what he wanted to hear. Over all I would have to compare him to "Hollywoods" idea of a drill seargent from like Full Metal Jacket, the kind of guy who would rip your head off. This might not be the guy you want to be working for, but he is the type of guy you would want to go to war with or manage your money.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I am only giving my opinion of working with/for this guy. In now way am I endorsing anyone to play at his casinos or invest with him. This is just my opinion.

Yes I am , shortly after I contacted you I was put under pressure to cut down payouts and start screwing people over. 5 days later I resigned and if you recall i never contacted you again My apologies I dont control the future If I knew that they were going to do so I would have never done that , I am now in a very reputable company with 24 hour payouts , A + ratings all over the net so if you are interested PM me.

As far as screaming boss stories Phynqster is right he is a strange man , he really doesnt ask people to screw over players its the pressure he applies on the managers that makes them go crazy to get $ in the casino so then that would lead them to screw people over to cover up their mess im sure Phnyqster and Brian agree.

As far as a screaming boss story most of them involved " Christine " former Cirrus Manager ... when he would come into town she would shake in her miniskirts ****Christine is now married to Andreas former POC manager *** in Austria .

Skunx, When they put u under pressure to "start screwing people over" did they specify how to do it or did they just leave it up to you? If they did specify can u tell us how you were told to do it?

I really appreciate your posting. It is fascinating to hear about the inner workings of an online casino.

PS- Didnt Shark used to be Welcome To Our Casino and was run by George Gutierrez?

so some of us were thinking we wished he'd shot you? i hope you don't think we wish that, but maybe to some other managers perhaps. i think, as evidenced here and elsewhere, that you are a valuable contributor to the forum, and it's good to have you here (and alive). :D

and after he rips it off, what does he do next? :p
