Sexy Stars Casino

Admin note: thread title changed to something more appropriate.

So much for being able to give our personal opinions huh? I thought this was a "open" forum where members can give there personal opinions, good or bad.

AdamW(a represenative of the site) did NOT start this thread, a regular forum member did, me, And now the title gets changed?

How come thread titles such as " XYZ casino is the best" or "XYZ casino sucks" are not changed? The reason i like this forum is because i THOUGHT members were allowed to post there opinions freely.

This site(sexystars) is not liked by plenty of members and they are giving there opinion on it and i respect that. But to change the title, which was my opinion is to me not an "open" forum.

Hi tonyT,

The reason why the title to the thread was changed is pretty obvious: your original title "Greatest online casino EVER!!" was a strictly subjective ad-copy blurb that did not give any indication to what this thread is all about - Sexy Stars Casino. If you google Sexy Stars, this is the thread that appears.

Please bear in mind that this thread was merged with the casino reps introduction thread - the current title is more fitting.

If this bothers you, tough titty (no pun intended). My patience has run out on your abrasive rants. Do it again and see what happens.

Have you noticed that whenever something happens hereabouts that you don't like you spark up the old "freedom of speech, not an open forum" stuff?

Get's old y'know? Maybe try "Hmmph! Well I don't like that, but there you go I guess". If nothing else you'll sound less whingy.

Or maybe give us a wee poem. Might make for some interesting reading.

Does anyone remember the old Starnet days? They had dozens of shell sites all offering basically the same formula: a little T & A with your gambling. For a while there was a thriving sub-genre of gaming sites: Adult Casinos.

Starnet even had a portfolio they could show you, themed stuff like S&M, bondage, biker girls, junkies, you name it. It all added up to the same thing though: sleeze.

I remember the adult ones. Think there was even a BossMedia casino that had some nudity. So it's really nothing new or that shocking. For me, it's just the date with the porn star thing that's a bit out there.

If there were junkie casinos that would have been a bit depressing. Line up 5 hypodermic needles and win the jackpot!

LOL or when you can't win shit you get withdrawals complete with tremors, nausea, and cold sweats

And as for all the nudity uproar, my opinion is I don't care much about it being shown. I also do not care if my son happens to see it online (he is 20 now). I always felt it was healthy to have an interest in sex even when my son was younger, and honestly think it would be ABnormal if he did not want to check out some naked women (or men, if that was his preference)!

HOWEVER, it rubs me wrong that Adam refuses to do anything about blocking underagers from his site. Brushing it off as being parents responsibility to me is just wrong. I am all for parents being the ones in charge and monitoring and guiding their children, that is a parents job, period.
But to know you can easily make a code change and keep the kids out and refusing just seems slightly skeevy to me.

My kids are older too, and if they didn't go "through that stage" then I might worry a bit. I would rather they go through hoops and barrels to be able to obtain access to it... not just a click of the mouse.
I know there was another post here that had a relationship hurt by this stuff...I also was in a long term relationship that was destroyed by that garbage. Therefore I don't find it very "entertaining" personally.
As for the kids being able to play the games in play mode. I know of not one casino that allows play in this mode without requiring sign up, which asks the players date of birth.
This thread has given this "casino" aka porn site enough publicity. And yes, here in the US that IS porn... just like canada those magazine are behind the cash register counter and covered up below the titles!!
I will no longer give them anymore attention, therefore I am done posting here.

Let's take and example of Loaded slot (nothing against the slot itself or MGS, there is many more of all software brands). What the message minor can pickup from this slot? If you're a pimp you will have tons of gold, beauty ladies in control great houses and cars?

:what: Loaded is about hip-hop/rap music not prostitution.

I always thought that the women in that game actually kinda look like women in music - the blond afro girl looks kinda like Beyonce (from when she was in the Austin Powers movie), the one in pink reminds me of Mary J. Blige...the other maybe be Aaliyah?

Hi Guys,

I haven't been here for a while so i thought i would update you on a few changes to the site.

All videos have been removed from the site, which now only features very modest topless images of the 32 girls on the site.

We are soon to be launching 10 new games soon, I will update you all as soon as they are live.

please let me know if you have any questions

thanks

Adam

Topless or not, that's still considered nudity in the USA, and yet children can still view it. You guys took the time to remove some content from the site, but yet you choose to not take the simplest route and make it where your site is compliant with sending out a content rating to any and all 'netnanny' type softwares. As mentioned, this could be done at the server level so you don't have to add a line to each page. It would have taken 1 hour to implement, tops.

But, this is just beating a dead horse, so do with it as you please.

As previously discussed, Europe, our main area of focus, is very different to the US in this respect. I do understand your concerns, but must admit that ranking all the evils that could corrupt children in the US, a site with topless content would be low on my list. I get that this is not the point you are making, but it to me it seems only fair that if I am to take your position on board, you should hear mine out too. Where in the US a topless photo is clearly considered offensive, here in Europe, most would not even batter an eye lid. The site does not promote prostitution, or under age sex, or under age gambling for that matter. There are practices that are considered respectable all over the world - but as they say, one persons meat is another persons poison. I am explaining this in the hope that you will understand that where we are coming from, Europe, and marketing this to Europe, this is not an issue - it is not a faux pas. If we were 'American facing' then I am on your side, you must not come into someones home and rearrange the furniture. But we are not in someone else's home, we are at home, and as such the decision has been taken.

Sexy Stars Casino is not intended to offend, quite the opposite in fact, it is a place for fun, playful entertainment, and to those who wish to play it, good luck and enjoy yourself. Feel free to contact me through this forum at your leisure, I would be delighted to answer some questions.

thanks

Adam

Just because your primary focus is the EU doesn't mean a thing. Kids can still find your site via any search engine.

This is definitely a moral issue, but like I said, we'll never see eye to eye, nor will you see eye to eye with the other posters in this thread have expressed the same concerns.

I'm done with this, you'll never get it. Or care to get it.

Ive never seen the site...but....when you get some guys with their hangy dangys out.....Ill stop by:D

It just amazes me that perversion can make it's way into anything and everything and we are forced to except it. We are told well you don't have to watch it, or read it, or participate in it, but it will be put out there no matter how you feel about it. The internet and media is full of this perverted trash and is becoming more and more all the time. I had disconnected from public television for this very reason. Force it in all public media, causing us to tolerate or tune out. I for one will tune out!

What also amazes me, is the fact that porn and anything perverted is everywhere, but the things we do want are banned, stripped away, removed, blocked, burned, trashed and sacked!

Talk about a frigged up world!

Well to be fair those of us with more liberal minds have to put up with conservative right wing moralisers over reacting whether we like it or not too though I would agree this casino is tasteless.

Obviously some Americans feel strongly about this and I respect your views but I just don't get this huge "Think of the children" thing.
Maybe it really is a cultural thing.
To me it would only be of major concern if it was invasive and your children were being targeted - that would be immoral and I would be right there with you but that is not the case.
Surely the reality is that if your children sought out sexual content on the internet this Casino would not be the first, last or even in between site he came to and the content he did come across would be far more pornographic in nature.
I do of course agree that all adult content (casinos included) should be made unavailable to minors where possible and I personally find this casino crass but that is as far as I would go.

OT
There is currently a political movement in Australia trying to ban topless bathing on some of the most popular beaches even though there is absolutely no public desire for this. Topless bathing has been around since the 60's there and no one bats an eyelid - why would they?
The reason they gave was (and this is men talking) that women were demeaning themselves by going topless. Well talk about arrogance and pomposity. Who the hell do these people think they are that they can moralise to these women and not only that tell them they are demeaning themselves. These sort of people need to be taken to an Island where they can all live their lives the way they want and we do not have to hear about it - I am sure the world would be a better place for both parties. I will even give them my patent for blindfolds for breast feeding babies for free.
Failing that perhaps they could join the Taliban - I believe they are big on telling others on what is right and wrong and how to live, you know, because they are better than other people who do not think the same.

winbig...r u on the "other side"????
pair of tits never harmed anybody..

@jelsmith - lol! i dont think that is going to happen anytime soon! and if it did, I am sure certain posters in this thread would show up to ruin everyone elses fun and tell us how unnatural hangy dangys and boobs are!

@winbig - kids can find THIS (casinomeister) site via a search engine. THIS site promotes gambling. Gambling is an addiction, addiction is dangerous to ones health both physically and mentally, and of course gambling can damage one beyond repair financially. and then on the other hand, you have on Sexy Stars Casino, a girl who is proud to show off her body, and a casino whereby only consenting adults can gamble their money. do you not want this site blocked to kids too? Please do not tell me that you would prefer your children to be educated on gambling through this forum, to them looking at a topless female.

I think you are proving the point I am trying to make Chayton...we are all active in promoting or playing in something that is far more serious than a topless female...

hmm...after so much talk, I took a look. I played a slot for free and at the two sides of the reels there was a blonde girl moving like a pregnant yak and this "gif" repeats repeats repeats....by the way, it reminded me more of a plastic surgery thing than a hot girl. (but thats just my opinion)

From the business point of view. Lame and so obvious for sucking out more money of the "sex-sales" thing than presenting a new creative gambling idea.
When I want to gamble I really don`t care if the scatter is a 1250gramm silicon implantat or a "ram" (Thunderstruck). It may be fun to have one slot with a cheeky theme - but building a whole casino on plastic boobs ....even for me as a men.....sorry mate this is just boring.

From the moral point. all the people here talking about "save our children". Bloody hell, what are your children doing ALONE in front of your PC? Install "Safe nanny" (or whatever these really good tools are named) or just be with them. If you setup your PC correctly your kids won`t be in danger.

And as for the ladies here. Yes they are right. One more business side in which the girls were treated like a piece of meat, or a pet in the zoo.

And for the perverts - they know WHERE to get more pics or animated something in the internet.

All in all. I guess the slots could be interesting - something new among RTG and Microgaming. If you remove the ladies and stuff...maybe then.

My two Pfennige (If Casinomeister allows me to steal this phrase)
Ed.

Soooo, how is netnanny going to know to block the site if they don't implement any safeguarding features? ie: a few lines of code to say "hey, we're a gambling/porn site?"

WinBig - even by US standards, Sexy Stars is not a porn site!

"reading about gambling and gambling are different horses" - still horses all the same. If you are reading about gambling, chances are you are interested in the act of it, or in the prevention of it which i doubt you are.

Mr Wood - appreciate your thoughts - different strokes for different folks on this one, i like our girls! Though I would advise everyone to check the Sexy Slots, the casino is not purely based on these - we have over 40 Orbis and Wager Works games too - and the next batch to come through will not feature the girls.

thanks a lot
Adam

I'd have to disagree that this site 'promotes' gambling. There are links all over the main site and the forum to information on quitting gambling. Casino reps aren't allowed to post casino promotions here. It's about information - if you're a gambler, this site helps you be an informed gambler.

IMO this thread is just providing this joint with free advertising.

Considering that it offends quite a few posters I think it should be moved elsewhere.

FWIW Adam - you may have a 'new' angle to attract online gamblers and its your choice.....just dont expect most people to take you seriously. It doesnt make a lot of commercial sense to alienate 50% of your potential player base before you even get started....but hey its your money!
