3Dice has always had a clear picture of what we wanted our chat to do. We believed - and still do - that implemented correctly the chat is a crucial part of the community features that take the online casino experience from a solitary thing closer to the parties and ambiance of an actual casino.
In my opinion more personal contact with other players and staff is a big plus for the overall entertainment value, but it does ofcourse include all side effects of the human condition.
In a situation like this I find its often good to start with the question if there were any bad intentions before the event. I don't honestly believe that Mistertee nor Anna meant any harm - which basically eliminates all options bar simply misunderstanding.
The global chat room is exactly the place to have fun and make jokes. It's fine to swear about a feature that only paid 4 cents, but if the host is joking around you should expect 'there's a 5 cent fee' in response. Being able to joke around while you play is great - and that is exactly what the global chat is for.
If you have support issues, want an account review, or any other serious matter - simply send a pm, email, or use the live support feature. Doing that in global chat is like complaining about your rooms air conditioning to the host of the stand up comedy show in the hotel. It can be funny - but is unlikely to be effective.
I've reviewed the global chat during that time and with perfect hindsight its easy to spot the opportunity for misunderstanding - I don't really think there's anyone to blame here so its probably just a question of letting go ?
