SERIOUS PROBLEM (please read)

Im in a panic and Im not sure if this belongs here. My bank still is not open but I think I know what is happening.

I know what Im about to say is serious accusations, but there is no other possible way in my eyes. PLEASE READ

I did my online banking to find my checking account wiped to zero. Granted, I didnt have alot, but they still drained it to a UK location.

PLEASE: tell me if you are gaming at Grand Mondial ASAP and tell me if when you chose $20 lately, it goes to your account as $19.99

I am asking because EVERYTIME I see a w/d from GM, there is another w/d for www.vintagevibez.com for the same amount. So far I found atleast 4. I was wondering my account was dropping. This site is a vintage album place in the UK and I only get a charge after I see a w/d for the same exact $19.99 from Grand Mondial.

This is very serious...Rich and I are in trouble here. Im in a panic and crying because I dont know what to do. Do I call GM? I already left a message with my bank. This has never happened to me before and now I have all of these overdraft protection fees because it's connected to my savings.

I cant deal with this right now and need some help. PLEASE....do not tell me what I might of done wrong, Im emotionally not ready for any "your dumb" stuff. I NEED SOME VALUE AND SAFE ADVICE, this is a serious accusation but it can't be anyone else. Until a few weeks ago, when I w/d $20 from GM , it came out $20, ever since it changed to $19.99, that is when these unauthorized charges starting at the SAME EXACT TIME as these w/d's from GM

The second time they said they would cancel the card and they want me to go through my online statement I FOUND 2 MORE. They want me to send it to them but Im not getting a good feeling from them.

Im pretty scared that this money is gone but Ill try, gotta go do this

We can confirm that in fact it is correct in that our gateway does only take $19.99 if you make a $20 deposit, but you mention a descriptor: www.vintagevibez.com which is not us at all.

We will gladly investigate into this matter for you and for us to do so we will need to request the following from you?

Can you please send me a copy of your bank statement which shows where these payments have taken place?

We will need an official copy of a bank statement from your bank and it cant be an online statement.

Please can you send this to me as soon as possible for us to start the investigation for you?

The money is far from lost. The bank can process chargebacks on normal transfers and it doesn't have to be a credit / debt card account. So in regards to Outdated URL (Invalid), simply tell the bank that this is an unauthorized charge.

Can you please confirm is it us who you tried to call in other words the casino or that music store?

I had a look at the site in mention and they seem to be a music portal of some sort which is not at all affiliated in any sort or way to us.

In any case do forward your bank statement to me so that we can ensure that everything is in order on our side.

The bank just opened 12 minutes ago, Ill let you know what they say. Thank you for your fast response, Im starting to feel a little better but am still scared

These purchases are either from Clubworld, Jackpot City, Grand Hotel, and Casino Grand Bay. I noticed they are using another servicer also and the funds are 1 penny shy of the actual amount. I got an email from them stating this, but can't remember which casino.

These are the only casinos I play at every once in a while and the funds are withdrawn through them which matches my play less the penny..

Bryan come no we've had many dealings and do you really believe that we will drop to levels like that.

We did have a bit of a hick-up with the phones earlier and the phone call must have just lost connection.

But if that is not the case then I will personally kick some booty around here.

double charges

omg Babs..my heart was in my throat when I read this..I am having a similar problem with a double charge of $100. that occurred last week from eCheck through an MG casino. I am scared too but only have the one double dip so far as I caught it quickly and stopped depositing right away. It is from the usual echeck processor, so my problem is not exactly the same and the casino is working on it...but...in light of what's happening to you I'm thinking I should at least post a warning about it in a separate thread. Believe me I know what you're going through and I hope everything works out for both of us. Good Luck!!

It get worse.....This goes all the way back past to the July area and Im out $534.00, the bank is going to do a charge back. ClubWorld says clubworld in my bank.

I don't know what to think. I signed up at GM in July, I dont know if someone uses the card when I coincidently make a deposit at GM for the same amount or if someone is using my card for this vintagevibez from the casino

Like I said, it is sure a coincidence and I hate pointing fingers, but what would you guys think. It's 2 separate operations going on, there is also another one for prtplay.com/cyclist?

I don't think it's GM alone, I think there is someone else too. There is only one with a phone number and the others dont have phone numbers attached. That voip is not a casino..I looked up the addy and it comes up some phone service. Like I said, ClubWorld comes up as clubworld, has been since day one.

I sure hope the bank justs credits my account. My card is hot, so noone can use it anymore. Looks like Ill be hanging out for a week and not be able to gamble. Atleast we have the contest on Saturday, that will give me something to do.

What a week from Hell it's been!

Hi Babs,

From my experience with merchant facilities, I highly doubt the CSR's at GM are able to see your credit card details. The transaction occurs only between GM's server (or directly on the merchant's provider server) utilising SSL, so rest assured that your details are secure.

If anything, the staff would probably only be able to see the last four digits for verification purposes. I'm not sure if GM do this, but some casinos ask you to even blank some numbers when providing an image of your credit card for verification purposes.

Maybe Mario can confirm how credit card details are handled.

EFT Point Of Sale Withdrawal CLUB WORLD +448701668801 (that's what comes up in my bank when I use clubworld ) so it's not them

They didnt have me blank anything, they have all of my numbers when I faxed it for payment that I ended up reversing because they took so long to even approve it, that was 10/7.

I don't know, I just know that I will hopefully get back the $534 dated back 60 days, beyond that , my bank doesnt give back past 60 days, so Im out any unauthorized charges from July to Sept

I guess I need to pay attention better when Im doing my banking. Im not totally innocent either, I dont know why I didnt notice, yet I knew our account kept screwing up. I have alot going on so Im partly at fault too.
But when I saw vintagevibez......it really hit hard and I got that lump in my throat and felt sick to my stomach. Im just grateful if I can atleast get that $534 back. We are at zero in checking because they really did a number these past 2 weeks and I thought it was Rich taking out money and forgetting to tell me.(which he often does)

OK this is weird...... recently my card got renewed, so I had to change it, and I remember one place said I could ONLY do it over the phone, and I had to give them my full card number.... was that someone just stealing my details?

I don't think I gave my CV3 out, I certainly hope not and I don't think I would have given that anyway, but even so......

it was either paddy power or virgin i think.

Sorry to hear this happen to you babs. On a good note, your bank should be able to credit it back. I have had a credit card stollen once, went to goto the fair, and found my bank 0. It took two weeks, but I got it back.

I have also had unauthorized charges from blockbuster removed, when they were charging me for thier employess mistakes. That was done in about 3 days. Just had to fill out a form.

Mabey try to just use all access gift cards from now on. I know club world takes them, thats what I use there. Dont know about MG. stopped using my bank account a long time ago. If I do need a withdrawl I have quiktender set up. Just havnt had any withdrawls,lol

I know its shocking and I know the feeling of violation that comes with this,
but it will pass, and Im sure work in your favour. Dont let it get the best of you. HUGS

Your absolutley right Ama,

I will just suck up the charges for buying a card, it's better than having this anxiety! My local store has netspend and lots of other ones I can buy and who knows, maybe Ill do better this way. When the card runs out, it runs out and I wont be tempted to hit the deposit button so quikly LOL

A lesson learned and this too shall pass. It could of been worse. It was just the initial shock and panic that took me over but when you think about, that can be replaced but Im only human, so reacted in a panic like manner

Maybe others can learn from this and just use bought cards

I know that feeling. I am also very reactitory , ( does that word even exist? lol) ... I have had a few things in life send me into shock.

But violation is worse, it is shock and feeling voulnerable. No mentaly normal person likes to feel that way.

It is depressing that there are so many out there that take advantage, steal etc, without care to the person they are doing it to. A sad fact of the world we live in today. The best we can do is do the best we can to protect ourselves. In the end we sleep better at night, and if you believe in Charma,
well... enough said.
