Hello, I have a question and i cant really decide if im wrong or not here.

I SE from "Casino1" back in 2017.
2018 "Casino1" launched "Casino2" and they were both under same MGA licence.
2019 both casinos got their own swedish licence.
2020 i played at "Casino2".

I found out about this and asked for a refund, because i think if i SE from "Casino1" i should be SE from their sister casino aswell!?
Even if they are not at same licence now, shouldnt "Casino2" have this information from back in the day?

Casino2´s answer is: "Because i made my account after they got their swedish licence, they dont have this information. And if i had made my account before 2019 i would be stopped and not able to create one because of the SE in Casino1"

Any thoughts?

Why are you signing upto casinos if your self excluded may I ask? Was it problem gambling related? If not my heartfelt apologies.

Under MGA licenses, self exclusion is per brand, not licence. So you were allowed to sign up to the second casino.

And as Casino 2 launched under a new licence, they would not have excluded you from the outset as they couldn’t have.

Sorry forgot to that part, yes i was SE and clearly stated i had gaming problems.
I had been clean for 1.5 years and sadly had a relapse the other week.
Luckely not that bad it could have been.
So thats the reason.

I forgot to mention i was SE because of gambling problems, dont know if that change anything.

Under MGA self-exclusion don't need to be carried over gross brands on same license. Now if you play under SGA license, old MGA self-exclusions don't have to be followed, only these which are made under SGA.

Obviously feel for you but if you sign up to 1 and self exclude and sign up to 2 and play as an adult you made that choice
On the other side of the coin what if you just didn’t like 1 constant loss decided to exclude to sign up to 2 but wasn’t allowed because you excluded 1 would that be fair/unfair? Unfortunately it’s a business and your the profit they will never have your best interests at heart only you can have that, instead of looking for right or wrong help yourself first and foremost

Now you can self-exclude yourself through Spelpaus which covers all casino operators who hold SGA license, that should help you out if you have problems with your gambling.

I know, im grown man, my choices, my addiction.
I had a small setback after 1.5 years, but im on my feet again and hopefully it never happens again.
but, I have seen alot of simular cases when SE with gambling problems on one site and then made a new at a sister site, and they either got their withdraws denied, account closed and refunded, or loss and sometimes get refunded.
But seems it varies alot from owener to owner.

But this probably was before SGA, i have not found simular case i described, so thats why im curious.

I’m not getting at you in anyway with what I’ve said the only thing that can help you is yourself regarding if the casino is right or wrong just prolongs everything in your past (if your looking to your future) forget move forward best way imho

Yep i loved it aswell but it just escalated more and more and i had to stop.
It more or less stood between life or death.
So i managed to stop, and kinda got over it and i didnt have any urge at all to gamble 95% of the time.. and i had controll.

Its funny you say that about streamers, thats actually what triggered me to break my 1.5 year free from gambling. I found a casino streamer while looking for something completly different... i used to watch this like 2-3 yeas ago so i tuned in and watched some and boom...
I wont make that mistake again for sure.
