Safer gambling questions?

This thread will do as its about safer gambling.

Just had an email from bet365 who must have done a check lol as it says they checked public records for CJJ's Insolvency etc. As part of gambling regulations.

Fair enough and I don't have a great credit score. So they have told me that they have had to set a limit on my account due to the checks.

So they have decided to take the decision to limit my account to a net deposit limit of ÂŁ1000 over a rolling 28 day period.

People might ask what's the problem with that. The problem is I've already got my own limit set of ÂŁ200 a month. So much for safer gambling lol.
Your credit score is obviously better than you think it is, now you know you can safely spend ÂŁ1000 a month at bet365.

Jokes aside, a casino raising someones deposit limit could probably be breaking some sort of regulations.
At the very least it is probably frowned upon. :)

Yeah what a nonsense.

Not really related but it reminds me about here, you can't go to the counter if you are not over 18. And you cannot spend more than a certain amount. But hey go online and buy it as much as you want, and just say "YES" to the over 18 question (you can print the winning ticket and ask someone else to collect if you win). Which is what all schoolkids are doing. All kinds of dumb laws when existing common sense was good enough at the counter.
