Ruby Fortune Spam

Over the last few months I have gotten a large amount of spam from Ruby Fortune. I know it is them and not an affiliate as it comes with my account # on it. This morning was out of hand. I had 32 of their emails this morning sent over an hour time. In the past I has unsubscribed but it did not work. There is no excuse for this behavior. Below is a screenshot.

I also have an account at this casino but I have only got one e-mail containing the newsletter. Ever since I played at this casino,I only got one copy of any of their advertisements so I doubt whether they are spamming you intentionally. Maybe you can contact their support and see what is wrong.

I assure you that we would never intentionally send so many mails. It only irritates our players and that is the last thing we want to do. We haven't received any other notification that players have received more than one email so it does appear to be an isolated case.

Could I ask that you PM me the email address from which the emails were sent as this will help us to establish the problem.

This still doesn't address the fact that he had unsub'd before...He shouldn't have gotten 1 of them let alone all those.

Hi,

I had a look and the unsubscribe request was not successful and the player was still on our data base. If for some reason the unsubscribe available in our viper lobby does give an error, our support team can ensure players are properly removed.

I have made sure the email address has been removed from all Ruby Fortune mailing lists.

We will keep our eyes on this to make sure the problem is not a re-occurring one.

Something in the air today...I keep getting the same 888.com offer over and over again in my mailbox....annoying, but likely some glitch.

Sorry, I had no intention of relaunching this thread. I sent it as a link to the rep here through PM as an example in hopes of getting it fixed privately. If you look at the date of the OP it is 6 months old. This screenshot was by far the worst one. The duplicate emails had just started up again. I finally started responding to them "STOP SPAMMING ME!" after more logical approaches were not working. They were not coming from their support email though.

The rep from Ruby responded very quickly to my PM and I have forwarded the last email to him. Hopefully this gets worked out and I hope a better unsubscribe system is worked out.
