Need your input: RTP - Was This Always on the Cards?

I need some input here!
RTP is getting a lot more awareness out there but it’s still misunderstood by most.

The amount of times I’ve seen people talk about how RTP doesn’t matter because “it’s calculated over millions to billions of spins” is depressing.
Well the majority of people don't understand probability/randomness at all. Plus another false statement I hear is that it doesn't matter on high volatility slots because it's all about the big wins.

I've played at Slots Temple for years, about the only place I use now. The daily free tourneys are fun, and withdrawals are pretty much instant. As mentioned, max RTP on all games. Hope it continues.

Wondering if RTP was always part of the plan? Many casinos are now showing it for transparency, but some users have noticed delays or longer

when checking it. Have you experienced this?

I noticed final countdown is 94% at places now, if BTG kill the rtps of all their back catalogue they are stupid, i play BTG when other 96% games are not available and i will be switching to (older) netent and thunderkick instead.

I learnt about RTP from an older friend and I really do check what it is. I like MrQ with their large RTP% as a game loads as I click out of it if lower. I’m a real novice though, I had to go off and learn what volatility is and that doesn’t seem to show on MrQ unless I wasn’t or don’t look in the right place. I opened other accounts then amazingly found some won’t just shut them which I find really weird. If you want to shut an account why can’t you? Is this another gambling thing? One of my friends thought RTP meant right to play. Forgive us we are young 😅

If you join dodgy unlicensed casinos that take UK play, then that is more than likely as they target problem gamblers who are a goldmine so shutting accounts is the last thing they will do. I hope it's not legitimate casinos you are referring to?

Well yes I am? UK regulated one? It’s very odd, told me I had two choices, lock acct for a while or self exclude for a while up to 5 years so I got cross and left it for now. i just want it closed. I don’t think I deposited a penny just changed my mind about an account because of the trustpilot reviews. The way it read it bothered me as I think (think) that that would mean they keep my details and I don’t like the idea of that, what is the point?
