RTG Wide Area Progressives

Howdy ho folks,

So I had a nice run this morning at Slotocash, got a $100 managers freebies, with no max cashout, no restrictions, it literally said in the e-mail. Skies the limits for my winnings if I got so lucky.

Well I had a nice hit on Santa Strikes Back, and decided I would press my luck a bit on Spirit of the Inca. It would seem as if the Progressive Balance isn't being communicated properly. So I figure it's just the game, figuring that ok someone hit the $50,000+ jackpot, they needed to audit the game. Make sure it truly hit, etc, etc. Especially considering in my opinion I figured they were crazy anyways offering 5 levels of jackpots. Starting especially at $50,000 plus dollar with a max payout of $99,999 for a $0.50 bet. Pretty ambitious if you ask me.

So then I go into Aztec Millions, same response, Jackpot Piantas, same idea, you get the picture. So are all RTG wide area jackpots down, because of that massive hit, or is it Slotocash just in general not properly talking to the jackpot progressive servers?

So far all I've gotten out of support over the last 3 weeks is that it's a RTG issue and they no time frame on when it's going to be fixed. Yet to have it down this long makes me wonder if they weren't prepared to take such a hit on a seriously in my opinion player EV game. Common it would seem as if Spirit of the Inca is truly a loss game for RTG. Then again that's my opinon.

Anyone else experiencing this at any other casino than Slotocash? If so why aren't other operators pestering RTG to get this issue fixed faster. 3 weeks seems a bit long for such huge progressives waiting to be hit.

The relationship between casino and supplier has always been a contentious one and don't be surprised if there are some unusually long waits for fixes, bugs and changes. Classic example is the lack of updates to the Microgaming software over the years, despite huge amounts of requests from players and casinos alike. The best thing to do is keep pestering the casino you are playing at and hope they keep putting the pressure on.

If there is something wrong with the progressives, we have a right to know.

Last time I played, I spent the better part of my play time and money on "Spirit" and "Pinata".

If I had thought there was a problem I would have switched games.

Well that was just it, it wouldn't even really let play the game.
I would get in, see the game, the current progressive amount. I would hit the spin button, to only get the error that the progessive balance is being miscommunicated. So I wouldn't even get to play the game. Which I suppose is a blessing in disguise especially if the progressives aren't working.
Just seems rather annoying that I want to give Spirit of the Inca a whirl because of some of the massive hits I have incurred on the game. Yet when it's not working it just upsets me is all.
Oh well maybe someone will eventually have an answer as to when we should be expecting progressive games to be working, or if it's only a Slotocash issue. I saw Emily from iNetBet was in this thread a while ago. Maybe she can chime in whether there working at iNetBet or not.
