Hi all

I've been taking an absolute roasting over at Aladdins Gold over the last few days, I just cant seem to win anything there. That said, I do really enjoy the RTG slots but I find they're more than happy to go 4/500 spins without hitting a feature or my 25x stake stop trigger and this just canes my balance when I eventually get a little bit up.

Can anyone recommend a good low variance slot on RTG to grind down a WR with?

Cheers

RTG slots can be brutal. A low variance game I like is Honey To The Bee. It gives free spins often but even it can be cold some days. I would only play 9 lines (or less) on this slot. Still hard to grind away on RTG. I find you need some big hits or you money disappears.

Good luck

I don't play RTG slots with a bonus for exactly that reason. The casino operators know that finishing wagering requirements on this software can be a real chore, that's the reason many of them offer such large bonuses. You don't see many Microgaming casinos with a 400% welcome bonus.

RTG slots are absolute monsters that can go many many spins without a single feature but can also have some HUGE wins... once i got $300 on a fifty cent bet. I wasn't able to finish the wagering requirements but that was back when i was a little less knowledgeable.

You should give the feature guarantee slots a shot, most of these are high variance hence the feature guarantee. They have the ability to pay big :)

How different our advices can be;)

I always tell people to avoid those darn Feature guarantee slots like the plague :D

I'll suggest all old games, 20-liners, to manage a wagering because they seem to be just a little bit lower variance than the new ones.
Newer ones is the rest, mostly 25-liners.

Which ones do the feature guarantee? They are absolutely brutal, I just went 853 spins on a slot called Big something and I got one feature (after 533 spins) which paid $40 from a $2 spin and not once hitting 25x stake.

That's exactly the reason i play the Feature Guarantee games, they guarantee a feature ;) They have a fair few (says so on the software) but they include a version of Atecs Gold, and my two personal favorites Ronin and Hairway to Heaven... You can even get the feature before it's time. I've had it happen plenty. I just find it near impossible on many of the other slots.

As for my recommendations i love the games Naughty or Nice, Coyote Cash, Texan Tycoon, and Golden Lotus. I've had the feature on these games a fair few times and most of them have paid well.

Yeah it's funny how different things can work for different people ;)

I'd start off on the Feature Guarantee games and once I'm up and nearing the end of wagering requirements would move onto the 20-liners. Basically for grinding move onto the slots that are low in variance, this information is also listed on the software.

Yesterday I played Tritons Treasure at Jackpot Capital (deposited only 33$ but with a 100% bonus). I almost busted out, it went up and down, the features almost always paid 1-10X bet. I was afraid to lose all my balance every moment. Then I got the free spins again with 15$ left, and in the free spins I finally hit something very big (the top paying symbol and the ship with three Tritons and one line with 5X top paying smybols, almost paying me back 1000X bet. The win was 489$ from a 0.5 $ bet). I then managed to get it up to 1.4 K with increasing my bet size. However I just wanted to say that Tritons Treasure seems like a low variance slot to me where you quite often hit the feature. Most of the features pay very little however but I managed not to lose with many small wins on the game before that monster hit. I didnt take a screenshot. Silly me :(. You might try it.

Similar thing happened to me as well, i won three hundred dollars on a fifty cent bet on Lochness Loot! Shame i couldn't finish wagering though.

Well what good advice!

Tried out Stairway to Heaven, great slot, plenty of features and I've doubled my bankroll and going to make my first withdrawal from here.

Seems the guaranteed features slots are the way forward, for game time at least

Thanks guys!

I like many of the RTG slots, but its soooooo hard to win on them.

Golden Lotus ive had a little bit of success on... but i still havent managed to get any withdrawals from RTG casinos so far. :(

Now that youve started this thread i feel like testing again...

The 400% welcome bonuses were always good to me, cashed out some of my bigger wins with these bonuses. Too bad you only get them once.

I just got done feeling the variance that RTG slots have to offer.

I Got a $20 free chip at Jackpot Capital (favorite casino:)) with a $1,200
WR. Got up to $200+ and from that point on, everything ran cold as ice.
I only had $500 WR left. I could of played a little differently, but for the most
part every slot I touched was ice cold.

I tried the lower variance slot honey to the bee as vegasbum touched on but
it beat like like a redheaded stepchild.

If you took a large bonus and have the bankroll to stomach it, I've found Revenge of the Rudolf at a $2 fixed bet to be reasonably low variance.

Despite $1 fixed bet, I don't find Medal Tally to be very high either.

One of my favourite forum members loves Diamond Dozen for it.

Some casinos lists variance for some slots. Inetbet lists it for most of the 20 liners.

If you have the patience to truly grind, maybe try the classic slots on low bets? No autoplay, but no contributions to RJs either.

I'm happy that worked for you

I really like these slots make sure you give Polar Explorer a shot as well, also Atzec Treasure :)

If you want to branch out to the games that don't guarantee a feature try Naughty or Nice, Coyote Cash, Texan Tycoon, and Golden Lotus. Features on these games seem to be regular. You want to look for medium variance slots. These will give you some decent playtime as well as some pretty decent hits. Steer clear of high variance, while they have the ability to pay huge they rarely do ;)

If im bored and have some spare money i have a dabble at the feature guarantee on polar explorer / mice dice playing 1 line on 0.25c or higher per line, if you make it all the way with to 100% trigger you get max lines in your games. You do risk 100 plus dead spins and features are not always the best but it is something i have a bit of fun doing to see if i can snag a nice win

That's pretty cool... I might give that shot a next time. Maybe twenty five lines on 0.50c.. Love that Hairway to Heaven game :D

In regards to rtg slots, there is a new game coming soon called "dream run". Have no details at all about it, just saw some advertising on slotocash's promo page when you log in. From the pic it makes me think of supe it up on microgaming.:)

From the older RTG games Ronin seems to pay pretty well if you use the stop reels button. It does not seem to work at all on any others but I can hit the Ronin guy pretty consistently on the last reel. If you get two triggers near the beginning of the spin watch the last reel and hit the stop right after you see the castle symbol go by, it's easy to see because its a bright square and Ronin is right past it. Loose Caboose seems to hit pretty often also.

yup! Played ronin today and this happened, won 25 free spins and hit 4 of those castles that was a minor heart attack:D then a few spins later hit the respins. About the only good thing from today I think:rolleyes:.

Except that you can push the stop button whenever you want and it doesn't effect the outcome anyway.
It's already determined the second you push the spinbutton. Sorry but that's true:)

I don't think that's true myself, as far as my experience goes if you push the stop button before the 1st reel stops you get a different outcome, if the 1st reel has already stopped and then you push the stop button then it makes no difference to the outcome.

Just my experience and opinion.:)
