while I know I should not have deposited at any RTG sites this week due to their major deep freeze, here's my experience of the worst of the worst games at $5.00/spin:

    1. Aztec treasures - this game is leading the freeze. Absolutely refuses to hit a bonus round. No Aztec kings in site (or where they count)

    2. Crystal waters - what happened to the dolphins? I guess they're all frozen.

    3. paradise Dreams - another major loser game...will not hit anything

    4. Cleapotra's Gold - looked like a possibility, but followed the rest.

Games that hit at least one bonus round and paid nothing:

    1. Rain Dance
    2. mister money

This is the worst i've ever seen the RTG slots over a period of time and i have played there often over the last few years. Something really bad is happening with this software right now.

Just closed my account permanently at one of these RTG's. Waiting for a payment from another and then I will probably close account there as well. They know they are just taking people's money and don't care. For that, they lose all potential future business.period.

Well after winning that random jackpot yesterday in CW... I deposited 200.00 today, and lost all of it in half an hour on 2.00 bets. (not a redeposit of winnings) I didn't get a single bonus game. Probably wasn't the best in bank roll management on my part, but still, I should have hit something descent enough to keep me going for awhile. Was hoping to do a little something, especially since I forfeited 3 grand due to a silly 35.00 in bonus chips. I was very disappointed today.

But that's very normal, because even on a $ 1 bet you can get nothing within these $ 200 deposit, but that's RTG and that's why i'll never play with $ 2 bets on only a $ 200 deposit, because it's the same, when i deposit only $ 20 and play with 20 cent bets.
Then you can lose these $ 20 also very fast without any free spins/bonus round, but i think, it's the same on another Casinos, like Microgaming, so it's not really mysterious ;)

Hi!I understand your frustration. Last Friday I closed one RTG account for the same reason as yours, those slots started to be more like a joke, but not a funny one.
I usually close my account if after sevral 100$ deposits (and low-rolling) my deposit does not last more than 30 minutes or I never win a cent over my deposit.

Anyway I am experiencing the same issue with MG...maybe it's just bad luck, I don't know...

Time to give it a break.

Yup, Aztec could be your best friend or worst enemy. But it's so dang addicting! ;)

I've had several sessions where I could not hit anything before WHAMMO!, a x450 win puts me way ahead. I guess that's why I love high variance, even though it usually goes downhill way too fast.

Ive been getting alot of bonus rounds in the above mentioned games, infact Crystal retriggered 3 times and I got 60 spins. I got Aztec and Diamond Dozen alot of times as well this week.

It depends on a few things:

    What your bet is
If you won alot of money in the last few weeks (whethere they admit or not)
    how many RJ's went off
    where you play and when

This is why i don't think RTG casinos deserve any deposit or loyalty from US customers:

    1. They don't care about you - an example of this would be how a place like One Club casino makes you rollover a bonus 40 times - Bonus was only $100. They know they have set the payout % to games like Aztec treasures to about 20% and still ask you to make that ridiculous rollover. They are only interested in taking your money.

    2. In a time when there are very few places to play, they offer nothing special in the way of bonuses or incentives...these places don't have the big operating costs of land based casinos who do offer plenty in incentives. Because of that, their games should be enjoyable and offer the prospect of winning. Instead, they make their games so tight that the obvious incentive for them is to take your money and give you nothing in return.

I for one am fed up with them as a variety of these RTG casinos are playing the same way - TIGHTER THAN TIGHT. Somehow, i believe it is a business initiative for all of them to increase their profits with little incentive for players to visit their casinos. I played there because psychologically i believe you can win based on past experience. I need to get over this and realize what exactly they are really doing now.

I somewhat agree and disagree on some of your points. Yes, I do feel sometimes that they don't care and know that US players dont have much choice when it comes to gaming online, however, noone is putting a gun to our heads and making us play after we have been told several times that US players are getting screwed. In a way, we are scewing ourselves. I think its rotten that they are taking advantage of the situation but also feel that our hands are just as dirty as theirs.

As for bonus, everyone knows how I feel about those but since youre new, Ill repeat myself. I HATE BONUSES. I like loyatly points, those are fine because it is something we earn. People dont give out free money...plain and simple. Even at a fast food place they have "get a free burger with a medium drink purchase" They dont give you a burger, your paying twice the amount for a soda to get it. Gamblers seem to have this "I deserve" attitude. I admit, if Im losing for awhile, I pity myself too. We dont "deserve" anything. Its a business, you go, you pay, you win or lose and either cashout or leave. Bonuses are nothing but a ploy to get you to gamble, simple as that.

And....If your fed up, you should disconnect from them. Good for you I say! I happen to love those damn games and will probably continue like the rest of the cattle until I dont win for a time or Im kicked out lol. I hate being like that too, Im so opposite of cattleherding. I pride myself in being who I am whether people like me or not BUT...this time Im afraid I will play. Thats why I never start threads in here about losing . I may add my 2 cents but never started one because complaining about losing isnt going to make you win and that is the reason its called gambling.

Good luck in your decision and whatever you decide...stick to your guns!

"People dont give out free money...plain and simple. Even at a fast food place they have "get a free burger with a medium drink purchase"

Babs - it's not a question of giving out free money, it's called "smart business". This is why organizations like Harrah's have a brilliant marketing concept with their Total Rewards program. They mail their Seven stars members (their best customers) coupons for thousands of dollars in slot play EACH MONTH. They want you to return to their casino and play. They only ask that you rollover the coupons once. Anything you win after that is yours, no terms, no nothing. They offer free rooms, entertainment, dining, etc. and this is something to thank their customers win or lose. This is why Harrahs entertainment is one of the largest, most successful casino groups throughout the U.S.

My point is that these online casinos operate like small time operators which is quite surprising considering the money flowing into online gambling. I doubt if any of the owners even have business degrees. To me, they just don't seem to understand the tremendous potential out there if they only took a page out of 'Harrah's book".

A lot of online casino managers (esp. RTG) seem to have a degree in Fleecing Customers with a minor in Creative Excuses for Non-payment.

Good post Babs, I also never take bonuses (unless I am running really short). Unfortunately in gambling if you are not prepared to lose gracefully then you shouldn't be doing it. If it is going stress you so much, then its better not to gamble. There are many, many casinos out there and at the end of the day its down to personal choice, and yes if you are going to take the 'free' cash on offer then you have to accept you have to work that little bit harder to earn something from it. Something for nothing doesn't happen, unless you are a very good fraudster.

    a close call...

Okay, most of you will frown at me for doing so, but I ended up re-depositing my winnings of 2k. They said that I could redeposit any of it that I wanted, and use small portions of that to win more money. So the plan was, re-deposit 200 and see if I can turn it into 300 or 400 and cash that out too. (up to 2k, because I was still under the thumb of that silly bonus coupon.) Didn't work out that way, it ate until I was down to my last $100 of that entire 2k, before miraculously I had a couple major bonus rounds hit at $5.00 bet, bringing me up to 2600.00. So, after hours of play, i had my money back. But it could have turned out that I had nothing. So the moral of that story is not to be greedy! lol

I asked a rep at Club world, If i could have the 600.00 that was above the 2k, considering I basically re-wagered my entire winnings to get it. No, but what they did do, was allow me to cash out the 2k, and put 500 of it back into my balance RESTRICTION FREE. Thus, allowing me to use some of that money to play as though it were a regular deposit, out from under the burden of a max cash out.

Unfortuantely, the machine ate it like candy. But I still have $1500 in winnings to withdraw. (And i'm not touching it!!)

Funny thing is, after all was said and done, I deposited my $10.00 in comp points, and turned that into 200.00, betting 40 cents. Go figure....

The club world reps are the best I've ever dealt with. They really go above and beyond to please the customer. :)

You cannot compare online casinos with Harrahs, that is apples and oranges. Online casinos may not have overhead like a B&M BUT...they also dont have restaurant income, drinks income, rooms income, stores, etc...to make up for the winnnings they give out. Ever try to buy a tshirt in a B&M? Its not $9.99, its $30 for a $9.99 tshirt.

You actually made my point for me even further. Online casinos have no other income except what players deposit. Do you know how much money you gotta have to start an onine casino? What if 3 ppl win a RJ in the first week? They cant move money around to non gaming areas to make it look good, it is what it is with online gaming.

The other point I wanted to mention was this: (this has nothing to do with you Deb, sorry but it still kind of fits in this thread)

Rushmore: Alot of ppl think they have their RJ's too high and think they wont be able to pay them or they think only bonus ppl will win them. Do you think it really makes a difference if a RJ hits at $40K once a month or it hits at $5K 8 times in one month? Ithink its brilliant even though it means you have to wait longer but for them it means they are getting tons of deposits until it does finally hit so its a win win for both. I personally like the smaller ones too but wow, it sure would be cool to hit $40K on a RJ instead of $2K once instead of a bunch of smaller ones

Look at a place like Intercasino...one of the most successful and reputable casinos on the Internet. They don't even have the U.S. customer base anymore and they're still going strong. Why? Great marketing and business model.

RTG casinos have a software provider that will sell licenses to anyone proving that they don't care about you, only their profits. The casinos in turn don't need to follow any policies or guidelines including payout schedules so again, they don't care about you only their profits.

There are a total of 37 U.S. RTG casinos listed on this site of which a total of 5 (16%) are accredited, the remaining 84% are either rogue or not recommended. If you narrow down the 5 or 16% of casinos to those that actually pay out in 5 business days or less you only have 2 because mainstreet takes 14 days.

There you have it...only 5% or 2 casinos of the RTG casinos listed pay quickly and are reputable. That is why they are so tight and this is the best and sometimes only option for U.S. customers playing RTG games.

I play because it's very convenient, but given the numbers above it really makes you think.
