RTG sites question

For real time gaming sites can anyone tell me if the VP games for different amounts are on different servers or have different RNG'settings. For example-if I am on Microgaming and playing $1 coins and the streak is bad I can switch to 25cents or such till it reverses and go up again. On RTG sites I have to choose at start exit and switch over which makes me think it is a different setup.

I have often wondered the same thing myself.
