I wanted to thank all of you for your insights and suggestions. I tried so hard to find a good rtg casino because i love the software. when all hope was lost i came here to find recommendations.

i tried bodog first, not a great bonus, but their customer service and reputation outweigh that (only casino advertised on wizard of odds.) i was lucky enough to win the progressive on cleopatra's gold for $4300 and the great part was i knew of their repuation only because of you guys. i am now awaiting my cashout with confidence.

Next, i tried Grandaces casino, part of the king solomon group i think, also known for a good reputation and great bonuses. anyway, i just hit the cleo progressive there for almost $7000. Customer service (their live chat) is excellent and i can cashout as soon as i finish my wagering requirements on my deposit bonus.

i guess what im tring to say is that, even if i didn't win the progressives, i still would've had a great time because i know they are reputable sites.

thank u guys for helping out those new to online gaming.

It's a little less great when you don't hit two progressives ($11,300 less great to be exact).

    Anyways congratulations!

By the way, there are other good RTGs. iNetBet comes to mind (on CM's Accredited list).

There are a number of good RTGs, they are slowly improving. But there are still a lot of rotten ones, too.

You've picked a couple of nice ones, and congrats on the winnings!

IMO Playtech has taken the crown from RTG and is now the King of Bad Licensees.

(Chartwell doesnt count cause they are too small).

PS- thanks hippo925 also congrats on hitting the 2 jackpots.

actually, from the recommendations of you guys, i was going to try bodog, grandaces, and inetbet. i just didn't get to inetbet yet. also, i was ashamed to mention that i did try some other rtg's that i could have avoided if i came here first, lol.

again, thanks u guys. i don't know what people would do without this site and winneronline and the contributions of everyone here. it really helps players AND casinos because u know what they say: "the cream always rises to the top."

    i think i may be in trouble.....argggg

oh my, im on the edge of my seat now....

my cashout at bodog's was credited in 2 days....amazing.

but im stressed about my random jackpot at grandaces now. i deposited using a bonus and when rereading the bonus restrictions, i saw that the max win is 10x the deposit amount. after clearing the bonus, im at over $6000, but i might lose $4000 of it because of the max 10x win restriction.

i just used live chat and was asked to email the situation.

im praying that the restriction doesn't count towards the random jackpots. keep ur fingers crossed for me....

I am afraid it will take the big guy answering a prayer for you to get this. I hope for the best for you.

Many of the RTG casinos have the 10x bonus rule.

    Anyway good luck!

well, grandaces will take back most of the jackpot that i won. i posted the details in the complaints forum to rant, not sure if that was the appropriate place( i still get $2000, my win limit). Was hoping grandaces would see it in their heart not to take away that much money, but it was on the email that they sent me so they didn't really do anything wrong. anyway, thanks for listening and just hope this will help others avoid the same situation in the future. on the bright side, there will be over $4000 more in the jackpot for one of u guys .... just don't use that "win limit" bonus, lol.

    Bummer!

But congrats anyway. Live and learn.

Btw, I hit a good one at Grand Aces last year on video poker. They paid me pretty fast, with no problems. I'll always remember that. Overall, my online casino experience has been pretty darn good. Stay with the accredited ones and read the Terms.

Congrats again, and welcome aboard.

    jackpot win

    Hippo

Congratulations on the win in the first place -

Its a pity that it was not on the Network wide progressives

RTG have 2 types of progressive

Network wide and local progressives -

If you had won the Network wide i dont think there would have been an issue of limiting your payout .

As it is you played a Reel time slot and those are all local progressives with terms and conditions attached to them.

I am in any event speaking to the Casino re this as Grand Aces is a Casino that pays its player as you can tell from previous posts. I can not promise anything though

You did take a bonus and therefore need to comply with the terms and conditions and they are very visible - we make sure they are.

The moral of the story might be - sometimes play without bonuses and see what happens.

Best Regards and Best of Luck

    Regards
    Greg

Hi there hippo I'd add shark to the list of reputable RTGs. I misplayed a bonus and they could technically have removed my $3500 winnings but still paid out:thumbsup:

They did require ID and limited me to $2500 cashout per week, but my $7500 withdrawl was paid in 3 weeks as advertised.

They have a small 25 deposit 50 bonus signup offer that doesnt need to be turned over too many times on slots if you want to check them out, and seem to have a lot of bonus codes for higher rollers than me too!

    hi guys,

first of all, sorry to all of u about posting this topic in two threads (i promise i won't stay such a newbie for too long, lol) and thank u for taking interest in my topic.

regardless of what happened, i can say that grandaces is very professional and courteous. i received an email from kevin, the casino manager, explaining the situation and how unfortunate it was, but that nothing could really be done. but he still went out of his way to speed up the cashout of $2000 and the tone of his email was just.... very nice and professional. he made me feel like a valued player even after such a disheartening experience. i can also see that their representative also posted a response here and i think that is just wonderful.

i can hardly blame them for "following rules" when it seems so many casinos don't.

anyway, i really appreciated the quick response even though it wasn't in my favor (hey, i still won a good amount, lol)

i kinda feel bad for posting in the complaints forum (i was complaining about the situtation more than anything else). i should have kept my posts to the original thread, but live and learn.

oh, and thank u guys, the level of knowledge and experience here is fantastic. i guess one of u used to run an rtg...wow.

    talk to u guys soon...

i will no longer post in the other thread (complaints forum, since it really wasn't a complaint ) and i was made aware that cross posting is not good.

I replaced Inetbet with Casino eXtreme for thier instant payouts. Love the 3 minute transfer into my Neteller account.

Love this feature immensely and never have had a problem with withdrawing instantly! :D Almost like playing and cashing in chips at a real casino. FAST! .

wow, kevin, the casino manager emailed me that he would quickly process my cashout. less than a day and the money is in my firepay account. wonderful customer service.

as for the forfeited balance, it is now gone. i am assuming it will be put back into the progressive random jackout from what they told me for cleopatra's gold though i don't see it there yet. i hope one of u guys wins it :)

oh, grandacesgeisha, thanks for responding to this thread and for your help. i only played there because other players recommended it. i never questioned the quality of grandaces because i played and cashed out with no problems prior to this unfortunate event. i think the way grandaces handled this situation upholds it's reputation even more...

I don't think they will to be honest. Why enforce the max cashout rule but give the funds to another player? Unless you are told categorically otherwise I think that money has gone into the casino coffers

Hippo, do you work for RTG or something??? Seems that you should buy a lotto ticket if you won two random jackpots at their sites. Not saying that you are lying, but I certainly wonder how someone could win two of these "random" lotteries so close together, let alone at all!! Maybe lightening does strike twice in the same spot, but that would be as close to a miracle as it gets. Congrats if true!!!

my guess is that via the magic of accounting this money WILL go back into the progressive........however an equal amount will likely be deducted simultaneously as an "administrative expense". the Geisha has to eat ya know.

Yes, I really agree with you here about Shark! They were a great casino to play at.

Sadly, I didn't hit any big wins, but it was still a great experience. I managed to cut my losses and cashout before I lost it all, which I recieved very quickly. They will really pay you out 2500 every week - meaning once every 7 days, or at most 8.

ALSO, despite what a few people told me, Cirrus casino has been a fun one to play at for me. They kindly offered me a nice bonus, which enticed me to try out the casino. Customer service is very friendly, and if you have a problem, they will actually try to work it out with you rather than give you some automatic response. I did well there too, and they paid me, no problems.
