Hi all. This post I found on other authoritative site.

I won a large jackpot of Jackpot Capital in the game Spirit of the Inca, $1,684,999.60. They locked my account for about a week, and finally when I got back on, it showed the winning. I then proceeded to withdraw and all the money was gone. They then contacted me several times and wanted to offer me $1000 or the month of June deposits. I told them no, that this was an insult from $1.7 million to $1000. they said it was an error on their technicians part, that he was testing the system and I happened to be on the site and I hit it. I don't feel I should have to pay for their mistake and I also feel they should be held accountable for what he or she did, NOT ME. If it was a technical problem with the system, that's different, but it wasn't. I have a whole bunch of communication that they sent me if you want I will forward it to you. They called me numerous times and emailed me also. Seemed very anxious to get things settled. I will not settle for $1000, this is a total insult. If you will email me with an acknowledgement of me contacting you, I will forward all the communication that they sent me. I am very upset of this. My phone is 1-719-543-**** and my email is ****************@c*omc*ast.net. My name is Jane ******** I don't know how to attach the email or I would, that's why I said I will forward it to you if you email me. Thanks Jane This happened the second week of June

Actually what had happened was that there was a malfunction due to human error that voided the progressive wins. It's a mind-boggling shame - I would have hated to have been in this persons shoes when seeing the jackpots appear - but shit happens. I have a statement from RTG that I'll post shortly.

Admin Note: Title Change

Since this has more to do with the software provider - and not Jackpot Capital - I've renamed the thread from "Jackpot Capital Casino - Non payment of $1,7 Million" to "RTG progressive malfunction - jackpots voided"

error on their technicians part

I take it they mean RTG tec's, The boss will no more on this due to he's contacts, If it has been won we will find out, I would not be happy if I thought I won it and its not real, But my luck that would just happen, If it has genuine been won and the casino is misleading you than wow what a shame,

Edit:: Just re read the bryans 1st post, What a nightmare but like he said shit happens, But thats just taking the pi$$ Hopefully they gave you some comps but I bet it felt good being a millionaire for a few hours,

Was it a genuine error? who will ever know, There has been a few threads about RTG games play, More it goes up more people will play, If won than not so many, This casino industry is not all black & white

Looks like a good story - I look forward to seeing the statement explaining this from RTG.

Your not the only one, Its aways right there end, evevn a few spins or quid, NO panic every things ok our end, Well its obvious not ok there end, Does make me laugh players are always wrong?

What could a Technician possibly do to manipulate the RNG? And why would they do it on a 'live environment' - since RTG has no issues with going down for regular maintenance.

hmm i think the tin hats will be out on this one .... with a technician causing a malfunction .. e.g a progressive to be shown as winning which "could" lead some to think it is possible to manipulate on the back end. Im not saying it is .... but i dont know something here does not sit right. Will be interesting to see the official response on this.

When millions of dollars are on the line, you don't perform live "testing/updates/etc" on ANY playable game. RTG has been around long enough and they're big enough to know this. They simply don't give a sh*t. Makes me think twice about playing at RTG casinos in the future.

Interesting.......has anyone actually heard about a $1M+ RTG progressive being won?

I've done a little snooping around Google, and found that Jackpot Pinatas has never been hit for over $1M...even though it's been around since 2009.

Also, I thought that RTG progressives were system-wide? Taking JP for example - different casinos offer different jackpots. What gives? This opens the door for RTG casinos to stick to their T&C and pay out miniscule amounts by the week/month.

Well personally I have never heard of any of there large million plus jackpots being hit. Could be wrong.. but some of them last time I checked had been going for years. I have had a few deposits at RTGS the past week and am again bored of the games and that fact news like this dont exactly fill a person with confidence.

Personally, I'd take the $1000 (or the month's deposits, whichever is greater) and permanently close ALL of my RTG accounts and be done with them, after an experience like that. Otherwise, you'll never see one red cent from them.

WOW Since nobody has ever hit these,, were exactly is the funds that would pay, If it was ever hit (lol without MALFUNCTIONS)? Yes that would be the end of rtg for me. But we rarely play any of those high random games,, FOR THIS REASON,,, I cannot imagine the feeling,,

Yep....if the progressives (non-RJ) aren't system-wide, this opens the door for underfunded casinos to not be able to pay out a huge jackpot win, leaving the player stranded.

Exactly what crossed my mind while reading this disturbing post

Come now... this is RTG. We've all picked up our tin foil hats ages ago. In fact, I think most RTGs should be handing them out free in the casino lobbies by now. ;)

My second tin foil hat for the day. Total crap and that is why i try to stay far away from RTG. Never a malfunction when a player deposits big, just when they win big. RTG the home of the most rogue casinos award.

The progressive slots are system wide AFAIK:)

At first I thought the player may have a case in the denied jackpot but what doesn't add up is how do you hit 1.6m jackpot on the Spirit of the Inca progressive slot when they are all must hit by jackpots on the game with the top Grand jackpot having to hit by 300k. So how is she entitled to 1.6m when the game cannot even pay a jackpot that high? Reminds me of the story of the 87-year-old grandmother hit a jackpot of 41.8 million on Aristocrat's Miss Kitty slot in Iowa. She was betting a quarter and in the bonus it erroneously displayed 41.8 million. Of course the casino denied her claim and she didn't get anything but $1.85 what should have been the correct win. If the casino is offering her 1k or the greater of her deposits back from June she should take it and run.

Then why are the jackpots different amounts at various casinos (Bovada, slots.lv, etc?)

It's not like the stakes are any different....

Because years ago I believe Bovada purchased several slots from RTG and recoded them to their liking or something like that. Probably tweaked and lowered the payback % as well. That's why you don't see any of the newer RTG slots on Bovada and they are all the older ones.
