I've never heard of Royal Dutch Casino. Is it okay to play at?What kind of software do they run? I tried using the search engine here but nothing came up but their promotion.I tried downloading their casino to play for fun ( until I find out their reputation) but it doesnt work. Anyone EVER download this casino? This doesnt give me the best vibe when the download link doesnt even work. The java does, But I don't like Java gaming much. Any feedback welcome.
 Okay Im revising this, I did the search this time using....royal dutch casino instead of royaldutchcasino. They changed software? Any used this casino NOW? Or is it completely avoided ?

From a recent Casinomeister News:

This formerly IQ-Ludorum powered online casino has been the subject of player complaints in the past, but is now under new management and new software following its conversion to Digital Diamond Systems this month. Unfortunately, DDS has come in for criticism in the past regarding buggy software. Royal Dutch now sports a professional new look and 16 table and card games, 17 slots and 7 VP offerings. The formerly uncommunicative Support is now 24/7 through email, livechat and telephone, and Neteller, PPATM and Moneygram are among the financial options available. Management is through E-Ingenium Gaming LDT of Costa Rica. The matchplay signup is maxed at a dangerously generous $1 000, and careful inspection of the T&C's is recommended.

Don't forget to check out the casino operator link:

Dutch is a member of this forum, and you can ask her your questions as well.

If you look on their homepage, I believe right now that they are offering a n/d sign up bonus as a real player. I couldn't get the download to work, as other players on another forum also reported.

If you like slots, they have alot of fun bonus game slots. It's worth giving it a try. I sometimes like to take the n/d bonuses just to get a feel for the games. I know some are criticized *and have been in the past on this forum* for being bonus hunters or other labels, but for me I like to see what the software is like. I then decide if I want to deposit or not.

Give it a try and good luck.

**I too don't like flash games and prefer downloads

I deposited $300, got a 50 percent bonus, and lost it all. I then deposited $80, got a 75 percent bonus, and managed to build up that $140 into $1641 playing red dog, craps, video poker, and blackjack. I would advise people to stay away from their Pirate blackjack game, even though its rules seem very liberal (double on any number of cards and surrender of double-downs allowed) and the house edge is miniscule with proper play, I lost lots of money playing it at a different casino that uses the same software (and it's not single-deck as it claims to be).

I made a withdrawal request for the $1641 on Jan. 13th, I'll keep you posted if/when I get paid. I saved a screen shot of the pending withdrawal screen showing that amount pending:

I called the casino today (Monday Jan. 17) and asked for an estimate as to when my withdrawal would be processed. I was told it would take two business days, and that I can expect to have my funds by 5PM Eastern time today.

Well, it's almost 11PM Eastern time now and still no payment.

By the way, when I made my withdrawal request I got the following email (possibly an automatically generated email), which made no mention of two business days for the withdrawal:

Congratulations!!!

Your request for a payment withdrawal for a total amount of 1641.0,will be
processed in the order in which it was received.

XXXX, If you need further assistance, please let us, we will be more than happy
to help you.

There's another complainant on this board who has been trying for something like 8 months to get paid $2 700 by this outfit's former management, and the new management seem to be giving him the run around as well.

After several conflicting excuses their latest offer is to credit his account with the amount he has already won but not been paid over these past months AND THEN SUBMIT TO ANOTHER WAGER THRU' REQUIREMENT OF x 35!!!

Perhaps the Royal Dutch spokesman here would like to explain this seemingly bizarre treatment, and the continual obfuscation being encountered by a player who should have been paid ages ago.

???
By my calculations, two days from Monday = Wednesday.
Therefore expect payment TOMORROW!
Which planet are you on? :)

Hope you get your money OK.
I'm sure you will - just be patient....

I thought the same thing, but he stated earlier "I made a withdrawal request for the $1641 on Jan. 13th,..." so I figure he is counting down from then - the 13th.

Good point!

But the main part of my message was 'be patient'.
Hardly any casinos pay out as quickly as we punters would like them to, but most do pay eventually. (I've never not been paid by ANY casino!)
I'd give these guys an extra day or so, then start kicking up a stink if nothing's happened! :D

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear, the person on the phone told me that their normal processing time for withdrawals was two business days from when the withdrawal request is made.

I did have a bad experience with another Costa Rican casino (VIP Global Gaming, www.vipgaming.com) in which over $2000 of my winnings from playing a video poker machine with a 3 percent player advantage disappeared from my account. This happened in 2000, and I did not report this to anyone yet. I have a hardcopy of my account profile from 8/23/00 showing the $2450 in my account which disappeared the following month. I'll open a separate thread about VIP Global Gaming to discuss this.

** Tunisianwife, i think you are right in playing the bonus the way you do... mind you, in general i dont have a problem with bonus players... I just don't like it when they get upset over the T & C (but having said that, at times there are some really legit claims of bad behaviour from the casinos re their T & Cs)
Slaughermeyer... I am sure that if you met with the T & C's, and you have send all the info they requested, and they told you that you will get paid, it will happen... just be a little patient. I think you should write 2000 off as a bad outcome of circumstantial events, and let it go - I personally think that maybe it is a bad example to hold up as a current 'state of affairs'.Just my two cents again **

About 4 hours ago I received the follwing email from them:

Dear XXXX

Thanks for playing at Royal Dutch Casino.com

Your request for a payment withdrawal for a total amount of 1641.0 was
cancelled.

If you need further assistance, please contact us, we will be more than happy to
assist you.

Cordially,

Accounting Department

I called and was told that the reason for it was that I played many games that did not qualify for playing the bonus through. However, my playing records clearly show that I played $3535 worth of red dog, which is not on the excluded list. (My second $80 deposit plus the $60 bonus multiplied by the 25x playthrough requirement equals $3500.) The person on the phone said their accounting department was not available at the moment and suggested that I send an email, which I did.

Here's a screen shot showing clearly that I played $3535 worth of red dog:

So what she's saying was that I should have met the wagering requirements first before playing any games that do not qualify for bonus wagering
requirements. I sent her an email asking where in the casino terms and conditions it states that bonus wagering requirements must be met first before games that do not qualify can be played. I am still awaiting a response to that question.

You are 100% correct. They have no excuse not to pay you.
I notice on their games list, that Red Dog is 'new' to them, so maybe they forgot to change the T&C's. But that's not your problem, you have clearly adhered to the T&C's as they stand today (and presumably, when you deposited).
Hopefully Bryan will help you to get the casino to do the right thing.
Good luck!

Thanks for your help and support, but it seems Dutch hasn't been on this forum since Jan. 13, the date I made my withdrawal request (hopefully just a coincidence).

We would like to apologize for the irresponsible service and the lack of seriousness that players received from the previous group of operators.

The Dutch is here now.....

Did you get a screenshot of the T&C?
It may be too late as they may have just changed it after your withdraw.

The terms and conditions are still the same, no mention that the bonus wagering requirements must be fulfilled before I can play any other game:

My having played $3535 worth of Red Dog is plainly shown even in the file that you attached to your message, why do you choose to ignore and/or overlook it?
