Roxy Palace insists on sending check?

My husband doesnt know the extent I gamble online. He knows I have a Neteller and play some poker and sometimes slots or videopoker but that's it. I had a small win at Roxy Palace and they insist on sending me a check! I deposited with Neteller and cashed out into Neteller so it really upsets me that I have to wait and receive a check in the mail. Plus now my husband will see it and I have to deal with cashing it in my bank account which could lead to tax consequences. Why does Roxy Palace do this? Is this common? Have I just been lucky and never had this happen before?

This sounds quite unusual Marcy I must say. I have some good contacts there so i could probably find out more if you'd like me too. Their accounts dept are closed 'til Tuesday now (public holiday here and in S.A on Monday) so not much we or they will do in the meantime, but if you'd like me to look into it, send me a Private Message via this board this weekend.

Cheers

that is exactly what Roxy Palace is used to do for a long time already. Even with the withdrawal amount of less than 100 dollar they may send you a check. And their sister casino Vegas Splendido is doing the same things. So, if you go to play at those casinos -have a lot of patience. They take your money in seconds and give it back to you in weeks.

I've never had this problem there and I've played for some time. I think it may be down to individual circumstances.

Roxy check

Oddly enough, this has happened to me, they seem extremely unwilling to refund to Neteller, but prefer to send a check. I have had this a few times, and I have really had to complain about this to get them to start refunding to Neteller, which they did on my last withdrawal.
Fortunately, I receive the checks in 2 to 3 days from the withdrawal leaving pending, and such receipts are tax free in the UK, however large:D
There is a rep from Roxy Group on the forum, and perhaps they could explain why a significant number of players are finding they have to have checks even when they have used Neteller for deposits.

This was my first time playing here and the check is already in the mail so nothing much can be done. Glad to hear it's just Roxy and Vegas Slendido, I will not be playing at either one anymore.

Think they are having cashflow problems with Neteller or something? Mailing a check could buy them up to 21 days extra.

i had same experience

Vegas Splendido did the same to me recently. They did the amount of my deposit via neteller and sent me a check for $20. Sort of ironic to receive a check from an online casino that's drawn on Bank of America in Las Vegas.

Greasy business tactics like this are a boon for other online casinos that respect and listen to their customers.
