Rome Casino - Bad Checks - Fraud?

What was the date the wire was (allegedly) sent? Actually sent, not a request to the processor to send it? Noah, would you answer that for us?

Rome, I'm wondering what proof you required from the player that such actions by Moneymart and the player's bank did take place before (I assume) issuing stop payment on the cheque and then initiating the request for the wire transfer? If it was a previous problem players had encountered with cheques from your processor, I could see acting on the matter post-haste.

Also, the OP is in Canada, and all chartered banks here have international partners, so it should not be difficult to issue a Canadian player a cheque drawn on a Canadian Bank (or was that the case?) Does your casino offer Canadian currency as a option?

Luciana, you said earlier in this thread you hoped the chats were not edited that Noah forwarded to Brian. I trust that you too have copies, did you forward yours also?
 
actually I have attempted in the past to try to copy/paste as well as to try and save the chats however there must be a function or feature the casino added in order to not allow that.

I do not have those chats saved so I'll have to hope that they are accurate.

Oh, that is not very good news. JHV managed to present us with chats from Rome. You could always use printscreen in future if you have problems. Also, sometimes if you begin at the beginning of text (Not the name) you can block and copy a chat.

Rome issues aside, livechat is my favourite method of communication with casinos for the precise reason that I can save my conversations.
 
Still no cheque, not only that rome has not been around to respond further to this players question. Noah I play a lot of online gaming. And I have had my fair share of problems with a few of them However once everything was straightened out I also made accounts with their sister casinos. So for me this is irrelevant to what the player is asking from. Plain and simple they won and would like to have their payment.
 
just thought I would also mention that in ignoring my request NOT to shut my accounts UNTIL my funds do arrive- I'd like to make note of the fact that I have now LOST all access to my accounts ( should I wish to have a look at my deposit and withdrawal history- which is what I attempted to do) because my accounts are now BLOCKED at both diceland and rome. I find this interesting because before I shared my experience here on CM, Noah in no way had any problem keeping my account open as I had requested. How interesting.hmm.?

It has been a few days and Noah never did return to cm for a response. You could always find out your full deposit amounts by going into your wallets and getting copies that way. I wanted to ask you, is this the first time you have gotten a cheque from their casinos. And on your other withdrawals did you use your wallets. Maybe it might be best to get Noah to issue your funds into your wallet you used and get this payment you are overdue done with.
 
I used ewallet in the past and I decided to close my account because I had some issues with them. I assumed getting a cheque would be my quickest and safest bet but I guess not. This was the first time I ever requested a cheque.
 
I am not really keen on using moneybookers. But all of the casinos seem to use it. Is it possible to set up a account today. Then get in touch with rome casino.
tell them the wire still did not arrive. To solve this issue in a timely matter forward your win to moneybookers account. I wish noah would log on to help more with this issue. And still waiting to see if cm will post that chat.

Sorry to take so long with this, but it's been an unusually busy week for me.

As for the chats - they show a badgering behavior of the OP. These go back before she was a member here. If things weren't going her way (complaining about how unlucky she was), she would promise to post on her own message board (with 54,000 hits a day - wow!). Then she discovers Casinomeister, and from here this is the board that is referred to when she is upset at not winning.

Bottom line is, if you don't like a casino - move on to the next. Don't whine about how "unlucky" you are and then accept some bonus. That's absurd.

To the check issue. Luciana, could you please forward a copy of the check. I'd like to see it. Thanks!

As the player reports it, she went to a place where they cash checks, they told her it was fraud, THEN she went to her BANK with it, which I find strange.

I do too. Luciana, can you explain why you did this? Just curious.

And it should be noted that no one else has complained about this via the forum, PAB, or anywhere else for that matter - so I'm assuming this is an isolated incident.

...The player, by her own report, was having very severe difficulties playing with us, yet through all this time its interesting to note how she not only stayed with us but also opened a SECOND account in Diceland for her Fiance', apparently she did not think we're fraud when she did that, apparently she did not think we're fraud when she withdrew time after time, and its interesting that if you look at all 9 of her posts, they were all against us with vehemence yet she continued to play again and again, using CM like a club, yet opening yet another account...

Then perhaps it's time to make our heads spin. I haven't seen the problems. I see you complaining in the chat sessions that you weren't winning anything. Well, it's a casino - they win in the long run - always. If you were unhappy with them, then you should have switched brands or found something else to do.

Seriously, what is the big deal? We have seven pages of posts because someone had a bad check - not a slew of players or affiliates - only one person. The casino rep has been more than helpful; he has provided answers and promised payment via another method. No one was insulted in chat or yelled at over the phone. Things look like they're being taken care of so we're good to go here. Right?

Not Rome, but two other casinos have complaints about uncashable cheques. So is perhaps a payment processor issue?

The player hasn't notified us but it may be a few more days until it shows up in her balance, international wiring being a bit slow. As for the processor issue, we did check that out but so far no other players of ours have reported the problem, so it is hard to check without another occurrence, (which I hope won't occur) :)
