Rizk Withdrawal

Hey, I was wondering if any Canadian players have had a similar experience. I have made several withdrawals over a long period of time from Rizk Casino, and every time I use the bank transfer option, I receive a $22.00 charge from my bank. I use the same bank and the same withdrawal method with other casinos (such as VS) and have never had a fee. I mentioned this to reps in the chat a number of times, and they just told me they aren't sure why this is happening. I tried speaking to my bank (it's a commonly used bank here in Toronto) and they just said it's the standard wire transfer fee. I have no other issues with Rizk and I think they're a great Casino, but since I often make small withdrawals of 50-100$, it doesn't seem worth it at all! I remember a night when I kept winning and withdrawing small amounts and locking them in - just in case, and when I finally received the money in my bank I got almost nothing. I believe this happened when I first started playing there, not knowing about the fees. I feel like I've lost so much in fees and it really sucks :(. It's also odd to me since Rizk is being heavily advertised in my city on the radio and in other places, and I am not sure if people are aware of this.

The $22 is the fee for the intermediary bank who handles the transfer between the sending bank and the receiving bank because one of them has no direct access and uses intermediaries for international transfers.

Posted an example of a remittance advice just a few days ago. You can see there the intermediary.

Thank you for the explanation. So when I withdraw from Videoslots for example and I don't get charged any fees, does that mean that they somehow have direct access?

You have chance to use other payment methods like some netwallets?

I've thought about it, I just didn't want to have to go through any hassles since I've only used bank withdrawals for every other casino without issue. I remember trying to set up Ecopayz in the past for something was a huuuge hassle.

Ecopayz attaches a $15 fee when you withdraw to bank..

But, at least if you did all the casino withdraws to ecopayz then you could consolidate your bank withdrawal and only pay the one fee.

All of the casinos I've withdrawn from are in Malta, so is Rizk just using a specific bank in Malta that has to use an intermediary whereas Videoslots is using a bank that can directly send to my bank?

They use maybe a larger bank which does the transfers themselves, so no intermediary, no extra fees.

Unless, they tick the box that they pay all charges, then it doesn't matter. You can see in the copy above it says under "detail of charge" - OUR, means I was carrying all costs for the transfer.

I see. Thanks again. Just sucks that I lost all of that money since I didn't expect it.

Hey , new member here. Also been playing with rizk and made my first withdrawal yesterday around 10am...was approved within a few hours.

I'm also in Toronto and using rbc. Does anyone know how fast funds could appear in my account and if rbc is one of the banks that place a fee on the transaction.

Withdrawal was for $850 CAD.

Also forgot to mention that when I selected bank transfer. All it asked for was account number and transit (along with institution #)...doesn't there need to be more info for a international transfer like your bank address or swift code?

Transfers can happen in under 12hrs.. can also take up to 48-72. Depends on the system they use, the banks in play, how much the payments manager had to drink the night before...

Odds are if they didn't ask for it, they're set up somewhere closer to execute the payment.. they are tied in to the american boom if I recall..

You would be surprised how few banks actually do direct transfers between the two Atlantic coasts. There are only a few who have the processing centers, so in most cases you probably will have an intermediary bank handling it.

VS withdrawals have always been super-fast for me, like next business day in my account fast (and free!). Rizk usually takes me anywhere over 3 business days to see and the fees of course.

Update: Received my $850 from rizk today :)

So on Tuesday it was approved by 11am ish and now Friday at 8:30am, funds are in my bank account

They did take a $17 fee...not sure if it's my bank (RBC) or rizk
