Government issued card?
I find it hard to believe that you Managed to have no id till now.
Unless of course, we are not getting the full story. But as Harry states above we will give you the benefit of the doubt.

And yes if paying $40 to get an ID will get you $350. Then do it. Make sure it’s one they accept so you’re not wasting your money.

Something similar happened to me....I had to open a bank account so I can get my money from their sister casino GUTS.

Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

Its not really that uncommon here in the UK. I had no photo ID as my passport had run out and I had a driving licence (issued in 1986) which didn't have a photograph on. The only reason I invested £20 in a photo driving licence was because of casino regs. Its very easy not to have any photo ID here in the UK as not everybody travels, hence no passport, nor has a driving licence or if over around 40, has a non photo one.

My Lord my partner went for her pip assessment and she was rejected we are having to appeal it my carers stopped her pip stopped now on Uc only. I really do not know why I'm explaining myself to you. If I needed help with benefits I'd be on a totally different forum. As it is I came on here to find out if getting an ID card was the only way, that was it nothing more nothing less

My wife was rejected for PIP as well, despite DLA ending which was awarded at higher rate care, lower rate mobility. The DWP assessor submitted a seriously flawed report, even claiming we own parrots. WTF, we have never owned parrots and cannot even see the relevance of this statement!!! I now have 3 part time jobs (two at local school so I can coincide that with my kids school run) and work remotely from home for a solicitors in London - basically my 20+ years career which I was fold to end immediately by social services when my wife couldn't cope at home. DLA ends, now DWP insist I work despite Social Services saying I should stay at home to be my wife's carer. PIP assessment is flawed from the outset and we have our court tribunal in September to appeal it.

I now limit myself to £20 a week for a flutter (was really chuffed at £550 withdrawal earlier this week). I used to be more active when I had a good income, but needs must, etc.

Good luck with all aspects of your current circumstances. I would have thought a birth certificate, payment proof and ID for current address should suffice, but I suppose each casino has their rules set down by the GC. I have played at casinos where no ID is requested until you hit a certain deposit/withdrawal amount (£1200 or thereabouts I think).

So just an update for people that our interested. Still no winnings. It has taken them (rizk) over a week to decide that in fact they do need a photo ID card! This is after every day coming back saying its too blurry or we still need this and that. Very stressful and upsetting. Especially then to be told but we Still need photo ID! I had accepted the fact days ago that I'd have to buy a Id card I'd emailed asking for a name of which ID card they accepted but they replied saying don't spend money your birth certificate will be fine?! Anyway what is done is done. I'm now waiting for them to give me names of UK ID cards they accept as last thing I want is to buy one send it off and they reply saying we don't accept citizen cards etc etc !
I've sent them literally everything I could, including copies of my credit file showing soft searches completed by other casinos, credit card statement, utility bills, even my tenancy contract lol but to no avail.

Fingers crossed for next week!!

Yes but did you send them a lock of hair from one of your ancestors.

To be honest if I had the time I would have much preferred to get a provisional driving license (at least one day I might actually use that) but I need this money asap and driving license can take weeks. If you pay a little extra you can get next day delivery. Mind you its taking them all day just to reply with a named id card in which they accept - wanted to get it in the post but another day wasted ::(

Has Sebastian at Rizk not helped at all?

He sort of helped but they won't budge unfortunately. It turns out im not a normal case as when I deposited i used paypal and the paypal is under my girlfriends name as our money is paid as a joint claim and therefore just the one payment and it goes into her account. anyone because i did that it doesn't matter what i and even my girlfriend sent in they wont budge unless they have a pretty photo of me :) my own fault really but i never thought anything of it. Im not an experienced player - lesson learnt! The ironic thing is we though use paypal withdrawals are done in a hour or two hahah how silly of us! never mind such is life lesson learnt

but I will add Rizk knew the circumstances over a week ago - what annoys me is they said the birth certificate was fine and then over a week later after sending them everything in - literally, that they need an id card. why didnt they say that at the beginning and I wouldnt of got my hopes up nor wasted time. Its like being on a rollercoaster with them. I wont spend another penny with them that is for certain!

I would complain to the UKGC in the meantime. It isn't a regulation that they have to see photo ID, not everyone has photo ID in the UK. If you can get a mortgage from a bank without photo ID then there are certainly no UKGC rules stating you need to provide it to withdraw a few hundred quid.

Signing up for no deposit bonuses is a big marketing trick with most casinos.
I see no issues with people doing that to try to get lucky.

Very few get to meet the wager and they can now forever spam you with emails to try to get you to deposit further, which is far more valuable then the odd customer winning.

One thing almost any casino insists, is that you only deposit using an account which is in your name. Some may accept joint accounts, but it's always advisable to confirm this prior making a deposit.

Most likely this has triggered extra scrutiny in your case.

But then... wouldn’t it also be the girlfriends’ money when depositing?
I assume if he deposited with someone else’s money, the deposit should be returned

Well its my money that was the point I was trying to make. Universal credit pay you as a couple. One payment. Havent bothered with a joint account as girlfriend has bad credit. So my money gets put in her account each month by the government. They did return my deposit straight away along with blocking the account

Yes that's correct and so I've learned. We just thought PayPal you only give your email address - PayPal do all the checks etc so just didn't think it would matter, until they asked for screenshots of PayPal with name etc soon as I told them account blocked, felt like the world's biggest criminal lol never mind we live and learn

@Sebastian - Rizk -- Could you accept photo of OP holding their documentation? Even have them stand in front of their house if necessary? I had a photo of me holding my ID accepted at a casino, and we often see casinos request it from players.

I sent them a photo holding my birth certificate - no good. This is the actual list of docs I sent. .
My bank statement
Photo of my debit card..
My credit card statement
Council tax bill.
Water bill
Talk talk bill
Tenancy contract mine and girlfriend's name
Screen shots of my actual credit file also showing soft searches made by other casinos.
Birth certificate
Photo of me holding birth certificate
Screen shots of PayPal account used.
Girlfriends driving license
Girlfriends bank statement
Photo of girlfriend's debit card
Benefit statement in both our names
Hmmm feel that I've missed something off m!! Can't think of anything else though .

Yes I might take a look. I think I've proved with no doubt I am who I am and I'm old enough, along with my girlfriend too! To spend 40 quid on something I'll never use leaves a real bitter taste. It just seems stupid!

If you have sent everything you say you have, then that should easily be enough to verify at a casino.
Did they inform you that they would need photo ID before you made the deposit and when it might be requested?

UKGC rules state

  • inform customers, before they can deposit funds, of the types of identity documents or other information that might be required, the circumstances in which the information might be required, and how it should be supplied to the licensee
As for the paypal stuff. If there was a problem accepting a deposit from someone elses paypal account then they should have blocked the deposit. That is possible with paypal, whereas with cards it is just the card number, cv2, postcode and available funds that is checked, so cards in other names can slip through.

Customer services just replied 24-48 hours to look at a card absolutely ridiculous I'm so frustrated beyond belief. Had to borrow money to pay for the stupid ID card they want their money back today and I want my money today, I need it. Think its the least rizk can do is process it within a few hours not asking for much seeing its their fault its taken this long in the first place :(

Maybe go to wildz point ( com ).. Maybe @Casinomeister would have better aff link ? ..

There are the original Rizk team..

Giving this sort of advise is really misleading and it's best cause just extra confusion and inconvenience for OP and other casino which have can be seen after one and half minute research have nothing to do with GIG.

Same that somebody would have been working in Apple 10 years ago and now years at Samsung, is that person/persons helpful if you have issues with Apple and is that anyhow their issue or they have any power to help even they would like?

Casino you asked to OP to contact have much common with GIG and their processes than Betsson or Unibet, going through these all is not really helping but bothering casino which have nothing to do with Rizk (unless they haven't update their website and license terms and GIG have bought them or vice versa).
