I just read in the newsletter rivernile are now on here.
I'm having serious problems with them, exactly the same as many of the other users have described. I'm hoping I don't have to get Ecogra involved but it's looking like I may have no choice.
Is there a representative from rivernile on here that could help me out perhaps ?

Looks like they're part of Vegas Lounge now. That surprised me. But now I understand why they have made play on video poker count as 1/4 towards WR, just like the others. I can understand the reason for changing it but I wish they had made it worth 1/2.

They don't seem to have cleaned things up yet.

It seems premature to have made the recommended in my view.

My experience: I played Slots Royale and Golden Riviera, and cashed out about 100 -200 in each case. The first one they sent me an email after THREE MONTHS to say they were going to pay me, and could I please send some ID.

The other one they never bothered at all. When I asked them why they hadn't paid me they said they were waiting to find out my preferred payment method. That was a lie, as they never asked me of course. When I pointed this out, they said 'send us an email, and we will sort it out'.

Finally Miami Paradise paid me after 3-4 months, following the VPL takeover. They sent me my 108 cheque in 108 drawn on an Arab bank. When I complained saying euros are useless here in England and worth less than , they sent me a second cheque to make up the difference.

I have since emailed them back (this past Saturday), saying that sending me a second euro cheque is not an acceptable response, as I played in pounds, and it would cost me about 20 to cash these cheques here. They have not responded to my email.

So the CS still has plenty of improving to do - VPL might have bought them, but I don't think they have fully sorted out the many problems yet.

Worryingly familar. Apparently they have paid my cash into my bank account. Of course no cash has appeared. Currently on 40th day after inital request and still no joy. Totally taking the piss out of me.

Vivian is your casino rep here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/golden-riviera.4609/

We've been taking baby steps with this. I know there are probably past issues dealing with this group. They have been around for years, and have been beaten up on the boards here and there for a number of reasons. I have had issues with them myself concerning players going back to 2002, but these I have been able to resolve.

That was then - this is now.

Since they have been admitted to eCOGRA - not much negativity has surfaced. That was about a year or so ago. Now they've been brought on by the Vegas Partners Group (but they are still a separate entity). I met with the operators in Montreal, and they are committed to upholding high standards that are expected of them. So I don't think this is premature decision. I have thought long and hard about this.

At the same time, I expect issues to surface since my crystal ball gets a little cloudy at times. :D Now's the time to have any legitimate issues taken care of.

Should I go via ecogra first casinomeister ? I know they don't like people posting in forums whilst they are dealing with an issue hence don't want to go into too much detail.
Vivian has 6 posts all exactly the same, all apparently no use at all to anyone. I'll send a PM but I don't have much hope there to be honest.
*edit* - Vivian's last activity 27th June......riiiiiight.

I prefer players to go to eCOGRA after they have gone through player support and casino management. Mainly because I feel it's important for eCOGRA to track these things, and I like to keep Tex busy :D

But in the same breath, the casino rep in this forum should be made aware what's going on. This person would be the best bet to solve your problem.

I wonder how I could go about getting hold of a manager ? Any ideas ?
I'd ask rivernile on the phone but I could tell you now the response would be either none available, out to lunch or on holiday.

Ah yes I will do thankyou, hopefully you can help me out because after 40 days of being as patient as possible it is beginning to ware a little thin

Whatever happens cheers for the replies casinomeister and others.
I really wish brian didn't exist, because that would mean casinos were't being dodgy. But that's far from the truth and I'm glad there are some people out there to help the player from being done over.

Oops. What did I say? Vegas Lounge? I get that mixed up a lot. So it's Vegas Partners. That is the guys with Crazy Vegas, Maple, etc. Right?

If so, I bet that is a good move. I've played Golden Riviera for quite awhile and never had problems. But I know others had problems. That Crazy Vegas group seems like an honest and player-friendly group. If that's the ones, plus they are eCogra, then it can only be a good thing. Right?

Or do I have my Vegas-whatevers mixed up still? Geez, vegas this and vegas that. Confusing. :D

Ok. It's the Vegas Partners LOUNGE. Now I see. I should do just a mere bit of research before I post and embarrass myself. Nevermind.

i have had these problems when playing at the main VPL casinos, when it comes to cash outs they seem to adopt standard playtech methods, like claiming to send an email asking for ID, an email that is never sent in the first place, or the we have been waiting for you to select your preffered payment method excuse.

to illustrate their attitude to when it comes to payout, take me for an example, i have played at every MG casino there is, i have only been asked for ID on 2 occasions, once at king neptunes and once at sun vegas. i guess a lot of casinos define my style of play as "non abusive" so dont ask for me ID incase they lose someone could potentially be genuine customer.

as for the 2 occasions i have been asked for ID, well the king neptunes was for one of my bigger cash outs every after hitting a royal, so this ID was expected and understandable. however my sunvegas cashout was my smallest cash out ever and was less than my deposit, yet they played evry trick in the book to delay my cash out.

the net result of this, is that the VPL group is the only group i have never been a repeat customer.
