this was sent as a EUR transaction so most likely it is currency exchange

We do not have a GBP account. Only Euro account[WED 7:11AM]

Wow, what a shame. I can't absorb those kind of costs. Looks like I'll have to stop playing until you have such procedure in place like your sister site. Kind regards,

£15 total charge on a £600 withdrawal ?? More worrying is they don't have a GBP account. If Guts can do it, why can't they?

I did a withdrawal from rizk back to uk debit card (never usually use debit card but as ewallets were excluded from welcome promo so i did on this occasion) of £350 received £341.25 which is the exact stg amount minus 2.5% debit card withdrawal fee which on this occasion they did refund as a gesture of goodwill. As future promos will include the use of ewallets i don't envisage any further problems/fees other than the std capped £2.5 withdrawal fee (£0 fee to deposit by ewallet) which will not be an issue for me anyway as quite happy to pay a nominal fee for a quick withdrawal but i would suggest you pm captain rizk as hes quick to respond and i found him very helpful with the couple of teething issues i encountered.
Still don't get though why casinos that do business in uk don't just allow you to fund by fast bank transfer to your casino account and withdraw by same option,it pretty much instant both ways and 0 fees are charged by the banks, which would in effect give you and the operator all the advantages of an ewallet without the fees and the banks sites usually work 24/7 365 unlike some of the ewallets which seem to have a lot of unscheduled downtime lately .
If of course you dont like these transactions going through your bank, ewallet is the best option or a specific bank account solely for gambling transactions so as not to affect your main account when looking for mortgages etc.Its actually easier to get a bank account set up online these days than it is to open a casino account,if your on the electoral roll there shouldn't be any need to send them anything and your up and running with a new account in minutes.

Let me see if I got this right. You play in GBP and withdrew as GBP. You paid the £2.50 withdrawal fee and withdrew on your UK debit card and they sent the withdrawal in Euros which meant you got less than you withdrew, minus their fee?

I withdrew £262.50 last night and will be fuming if that gets converted to euros and reduced by bank fees.

That isn't on at all.

They need to sort this out PDQ.

Unfortunately Kidgloves you were given the wrong information, our apologies for that. This was due to the withdrawal fee being 2.5% for Visa hence the 585 payment.

However we have listened to the comments we have received and have removed the 2.5% withdrawal fee to visa and set it to be a flat £2.5 in line with other withdrawal methods.

I have also refunded your withdrawal fees to your account.

I just came on to complain about this.

Did 4 x withdraw yesterday, 2 were charged at £2.50, another 2 were charged at 2.5%

Been charged £55 in total.

Live chat said it changed today, then changed her mind and said it changed yesterday between my first 2 and last 2 withdrawals, even though all were processed at the same time.

Refused to refund the charges even though I pointed out all the withdrawals were processed at exactly the same time (waiting for my debit card to be verified) and MUST have been after the changes were made as the last 2 were only charged at £2.50, the first 2 were still reversible for hours after that.

I could understand it if the first 2 were sent before the changes, but as they were all sent at the same time, not impressed that I've been charged £45 more.

Hi, how may I assist you?[WED 6:58PM]
You
sorry we were just chatting and got cut off about withdrawal
I made 4 x withdraw, yesterday I got charged £2.50 on 2 and 2.5% on 2, it said £2.50 when i withdrew[WED 6:59PM]
Pertti
It have changed today to be £2.50, yesterday it was still 2.5%[WED 6:59PM]
You
well why did I get charged £2.50 twice yesterday if it was 2.5%?[WED 7:01PM]
Pertti
Ok, it seems it then came live already yesteday at some point, first withdrawals you made it was still 2,5% but last two only £2.50[WED 7:03PM]
You
so I got charged £50 for the sake of a few hours, could you refund that maybe as a goodwill payment as that seems very high[WED 7:06PM]
Pertti
Unfortunately i'm not able to do that, it have changed and your last withdrawals have only been charged £2.50[WED 7:06PM]
You
you processed them all at the same time though?[WED 7:07PM]
Pertti
These are processed different times[WED 7:08PM]
You
they were all approved at exactly teh same time, as you were waiting to approve my debit card, which was done around 6 hours after my last withdrawal, so you couldn't have processed them before that?[WED 7:10PM]
Pertti
I see there is time difference when these have been approved by our payments department so there is nothing i can do to this issue

being charged to withdraw winnings........heard it all now, why would anyone play at a place you get charged.

It seems the Rizk team thought this was "industry standard", but as I said in the other thread, it isn't outside of the old US market. Whilst they have reduced the fees a little, they still remain at odds with the norm for most players like myself where charges to deposit and withdraw just don't happen unless the player is insisting on some kind of special service like a courier cheque rather than a regular one in the post.

Where a few casinos have had fees, it has been as a form of punishment or behaviour modification. For example, Club World started charging players deposit fees in cases where they felt the player had been "churning" their funds in and out of the casino without a clear intention to risk them in play. Others have used fees to deter the use of a funding method they would prefer players to avoid. In the past, it has even gone further in that not only were deposits and withdrawals free, but a bonus was offered on every deposit using a "preferred method". In my experience Neteller was the BEST, with casinos willing to add up to 15% simply for using Neteller rather than a card or voucher. Now, Neteller seems to be the worst, with an increasing number of casinos using charges and other pressures to steer players into avoiding the product altogether. It seems that even bank cards are no longer the preferred solution, and now it's the modern equivalent of the UKash voucher that is the preferred option for casinos. Unfortunately, it's the most cumbersome option for players as it means going to a shop and explaining to staff how their own terminal works so that they can issue the damn voucher. I had this when I tried UKash. Of the FIVE shops shown as servicing UKash on the website, 4 didn't, and one of the 4 didn't even exist as a shop. I tried and failed with the local Londis who had the correct terminal, but could not figure out how to sell me a voucher. Only one store managed it, after I trained their cashier for about 15 minutes in how to do it!!!

I foresee a similar problem with Paysafe, same terminals, same shops, and same cashiers in many cases. Paysafe is really UKash under new management.

I've just checked my bank account and £42.50 has been lost from the casino withdrawal to my debit card!

I'm sure it said 0% fee when I pressed the cash out button :what:

Let's see.... fees to withdraw.

Fees to deposit ?

They don't want my custom then.

I see above a user was charged £50 for 4 withdrawals and refused a refund. Ok so they reduced it to £2.50 per withdrawal..... are they not about handling money then ?

The casino should absorb these costs 100%

I remember 2 years ago, being sent some funds from Canada but it was sent as $150 not £150 via paypal. We were talking while this was happening so I instantly realised the mistake and refunded the sent money so they could resend. Ok, they could have simply topped up with another send but we agreed to cancel/refund and resend. Except at that precise moment, less than a minute of it being sent and refunded, Paypal said the conversion rate changed so the refund wasn't sent immediately and was cued up to be withdrawn from my bank account instead over the amount of something like £0.83 because I had no other funds in my paypal at the time.

It took a week to sort out and ended up costing me because I said don't worry about it (too much headache over something so simple). I think PP were fos.

Anyhow, I understand exchange rates etc but these casinos should be dealing in your own currency or not serving you, which isn't rocket science. You should not be paying handling fees nor should you accept doing so because it gives the green light in them doing things like this.

I wouldn't play there unless they fix the situation 100%

I just signed up at Riszk.

1, No web wallet for first deposit, do you like collecting peoples Credit Cards?

2, £1.25 charge to deposit.

3, Couldn't find a single WMS slot, software was stated on CM's Accredited casino page.

4, Withdrawal charge.

No thanks.

Had a message from Rizk just now confirming they will refund any associated fees with my recent withdrawal.

Fair play

Good to hear that Nicola, GBP42.50 is quite a chunk of change for a simple bank transfer.

However, it still works in the favor of the casino as probably many players are not as informed as we are and just accept those charges without complaining. I am sure Rizk is not automatically crediting some chips for everybody doing a withdrawal to the bank.

Just signed up, saw they want to charge me for the pleasure of giving them money (I don't care how much it is).

No chance

I made a withdrawal of £1,500 late last night, it got approved about 11am this morning after enquiringly on live chat. I can't see anything on charges for withdrawals...
Let's hope I get the full £1500 in my account tomorrow!

Great work Captain Rizk, first time I've seen a casino (rep) refund money while also making a decision that favours the player!:notworthy

Just to add. My withdrawal came though overnight with the amount I withdrew minus the £2.50 withdrawal fee.

Quite happy with that.

My withdrawl hit my bank account earlier this evening, minus £2.50 charge.
Very good casino.
Keep up the good work to make a very successful casino!
Cheers.

I can assure that banks do charge a premium for faster payments commercially as a ball park figure of £5 -£10 each for the sort of volumes that casinos will be doing. What winds me up is the withdrawal fee to bank that Neteller charge - £5 - and then have the cheek to transfer it using standard 3 days BACS which really is a few pence for each item.
