2016 has arguably been the worst year ever for celebrity deaths. Johan Cruyff, David Bowie, Prince, Ronnie Corbett, Alan Rickman, Victoria Wood, Sir Terry Wogan. All big names that I grew up watching. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Yesterday we just lost another....the great Gene Wilder.

I loved the guy, funny as hell. This scene always sticks out in my mind from Blazing Saddles. Glad I quickly found it on YouTube!

It was a coincidence but the last two times I saw The Producers I won big at the locals. Gene Wilder was a wonderful comic actor in so many great films such as The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Stir Crazy and his screen debut in Bonnie & Clyde. Of course, many slot fanatics in the U.S. are fans of WMS' Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory series.

Thank you for making us laugh, Jerome.

RIP Mr. Wilder, the world is a duller place without you.
