Hi all! Thx for letting me be part of this community.
I do have serious problems when it comes to gambling. This is why I requested a permanent self exclusion from Wunderino in January 2019 and I received an email from Wunderino where they confirmed that they closed my account without any chance to reactivate it.
Now I had a relapse yesterday and logged in to Wunderino and lost 4.000 Euro - so my account was not blocked as requested and confirmed via email by Wunderino. Isn’t this a violation of the responsible gaming regulations that Wunderino commited? I tried to reach out to them but the chat tells me they are not responsible and the relevant department (risk and responsible gaming) does not answer.
So what do uou guys think?

If you have an email confirming this why on earth would you try to log in deposit and play?

Not sure on what would have happened if you had actually won and tried to withdraw.

pretty sure if you have an email saying you have self excluded you should have not been allowed to log in.

Rather strange situation to be honest but if you have what you say you have then you should get you’re deposit/deposits back.

I logged in because I was/am addicted to gambling. And yes, I have all on a written basis. They confirmed in Jan 2019 that my account is closed and that under No circumstances I will be able to log on again...

Hallo Martin und herzlich willkommen bei CM.

The question is for how long did you request the self-exclusion. Typically, if it is not specified by the player e.g. "I want to self-exclude permanently" .... it is done for 6 months which is the minimum period.

According to the MGA regulations, a SE can simply expire. There is no need for a casino to wait for you to request a reopening of your account.

I requested a permanent self exclusion with now chance to log on again. Here the original answer from Wunderino where they state very clearly that my account is blocked forever and I will never have a chance to log on again - sorry the mail is in German:

Hallo Martin

Team Wunderino

Crystal clear that the SE was permanent.

A PAB will be your best chance: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/tickets/create

Vielen herzlichen Dank

I received following update from the Wunderino Rep:

Hi Martin,

Just to give you a quick update. This is currently being reviewed by our customer support in tandem with our player safety team right now and they will reach out to you with their findings and any additional information that you might need.

If there's anything else that we can do for you meanwhile don't hesitate to ask.

Kind regards,
Sue

I will keep you updated.

LG
Martin

Good to see Wunderino got it sorted this fast and only right way. Mistakes happen for all, how they get sorted makes a difference.
Best of luck to stay away from gambling, not easy way to go through.

Great news Martin. Glad they reacted quickly. Do something nice with the money.

For all other readers: Wunderino informed the OP that they will return the 4K EURO.

Thought about buying a Flammkraft Block D BBQ :):)

Wow that's wunderbar. Nice gesture from the casino!
You got lucky this time, see it as a second chance to get your stuff together, not everyone get's a second chance. Don't blow it all again on a casino.

Hallo Harry!

LG

If you self-exclude (or take one month time-out) from one site, it doesn't affect to other sites. So no casino mistake happened here.

Thank you. Because I read on some sites that this might be the case. I requested a time out for their casino and all casinos belonging to their group. In some forums I read about compareable situations and the finding was that a self exclusion should be valid for all casinos belonging to the same group...
