videoslots told me I had won £2319 on my crashed cashzuma bonus. I then logged back into live chat an hour later to double check my winnings and spoke to a different advisor who congratulated me with my £2319 win.
So as you do like anyone would I went and spent 1500 of my family money to then be payed the next day a value of £23.19. Two advisors had got it wrong. By now I was 1500 pound down so had to tell my fiance and she threw me out. After telling videoslots what had happened they never give me a decision for 10 days knowing I was homeless and all they said was sorry it was a mistake we cant pay you that amount and blocked my account saying I cant afford to gamble anymore?

This doesnt seem fair or right to me....? What's peoples thoughts?

It's not your money to spend until the withdrawal is processed, or preferably when it hits your bank account.

They have a rep here, so if you have the chat transcripts to demonstrate you were told you had got the money, then I would contact him.

Yes I've learned my lesson now. I have screenshots of my win being congratulated by 2 advisors. I trusted they was telling me the truth. :(

They made colossal life changing mistakes TWICE and there really not bothered. 1500 isnt much to some people i know but its alot for me to just spend when I cant afford it.

[max says: the OP had originally posted a screenshot here but has since asked for it to be removed.]

I never include my winnings in my available cash until it lands in the bank, as even accredited casinos have gone bad - Purple Lounge anyone? And even though I don't play with bonuses - or at least, rarely - there is always the possibility that the dreaded 'irregular gameplay' card could raise its ugly head. So until the bank receives the cash, I work on the principal that all I have lost, if the worst comes to the worst, are my rather meagre deposits.

From now on I will think you ladyhawke. I know not to ever trust a casino again until I have the money in the bank. If videoslots would of helped me a bit I wouldn't mind but they literally shut my account and said see ya! Knowing the situation they had put me in.

It seems here that you won £23.19 or something on an incomplete bonus and there was no decimal point, so £2319 was noted?? Have I got that right? I have to change the title to reflect the real issue here mate, as VS certainly did not make you homeless as the opener suggests.

I see you posted this issue on trust pilot over a week ago - so you have been homeless since then ? 1.5k is a lot but isnt much to make someone homeless over - if it were a one off incident and not your fault .

Hmmmm, regardless of casino...........

If I 'won' £2319, I would still stick to my daily/weekly deposit limits.

If I 'won' £2319 my experience would tell me whether this was likely on the game/bet size before I started running around the house like a madman.

Never, ever would I start depositing like crazy over an unconfirmed/stuck game round and the say so of a live help agent.

Sorry but something is simply not right here, maybe too much time on CM has made me like this, sorry again but simply 'No!'

I think there has to be liability on VS side here yes the OP was foolish to spend what he hadn’t actually received.
But to be told by 2 different advisors that the sun was £2319 when in reality it was £23 was a screw up of epic proportion.
It’s easy for us sitting in the side lines to say don’t spend what u haven’t got and stick to deposit limits ETC VS are highly accredited and the OP obviously took them at face value.

Dunno what the stake was but I think it must have been reasonably high for the player to think a 2.3k win on a bonus was feasable.
If so the actual win of 23 quid was lousy (but not impossible) .Not sure if VS is liable for any blame on this one,the player should
have waited and not gone crazy with housekeeping money, bet his ex went apeshit, I know I would have been 2 stones lighter

I can see the OPs side to be fair. Easy for us to sit and say 'well I wouldn't have spent any money until the withdraw was in my account' etc but the fact of the matter is an accredited casino's chat reps (allegedly) told him he'd won over 2k. I'd have probably been thinking what I could spend the money on at that point too.

Let's not forget not only is this guy getting over 2k less than he thought he was, he's also spent some savings and lost a relationship. No point kicking him down any further IMO. Videoslots will continue to operate whereas we know nothing about the mental health of this guy who's bound to be at a low ebb.

True, but the image only shows him on chat alleging the chat told him this - Videoslots are on to it, so best let them decide as they have the transcripts I presume. Whichever, I feel sorry if the consequences are as bad as the OP suggests.

If VS support did misinform the OP about the size of his win, I agree that is appalling. However did the OP check that a win of that amount was possible according to the bet size?

Also, I believe it is the finance department that verifies the winnings, and support do not have much more information than the OP. It is possible they misread 23.19 as 2319. That said, it is still a bad mistake to make, particularly as VS is one of the best accredited casinos out there.

However, I still firmly believe that until the winnings hit the bank, it is ill-advised to pre-empt said winnings and go on a spending spree. "Thinking about what I could spend the winnings on" is a totally different beast to spending the winnings before actually receiving them. After all, forums are rife with complaints about funds not arriving due to Payment Processing issues, gameplay issues, bonus abuse issues, etc. etc. etc.

Finally, I am very, very sorry about the consequences of your action regarding your home situation. However, if this is the first time this has happened, I do think what happened to you at home was very harsh.

What was stated on previous page is the most likely scenario that happened. There was a mistake yes, informing the player the won £2319 (if they really did so), but when in actuality it's likely the player won 2319 COINS. At 0,01 denomination, that comes out to the 23.19 paid.

Also OP has not answered what his bet size was. Seems odd. If the bet size was 0.25 how could you possibly think over 10k X stake is right. Yes in theory it could be, but I would not believe it before seeing it.

Also, I might be just cynical at this point, but I would not take everything OP has said at face value. It's entirely possible the whole story is fabricated (aside from possibly the chat logs) in order to attempt to claim the 2319.
